Grace is an inflated raft that can submerge to the floor of a sea to save you.
Grace is the silver thread that stitches up the shreds of mangled souls.
Grace is the eye that finds us where it refuses, there, to leave us.
Grace calls the waitress to the table and sits her down to wash her feet.
Grace sees underneath the manhole on a street of self-destruction.
Grace is the air to draw a breath in the belly of a whale.
Grace is the courage to stand in the shamed wake of a frightful falling.
Grace is the only fire hot enough to burn down a living hell.
Grace waits with healing in His wings when we’re too mad to pray.
Grace is the gravity that pulls us from depravity.
Grace races us to the Throne when we make haste to repent and always outruns us.
Grace treats us like we already are what we fear we’ll never become.
Grace is the doorpost dripping red when the angel of death grips the knob.
Grace is the stamp that says Ransomed on a life that screams Ruined.
Grace sets a table before me in the presence of my enemy even when my enemy is me.
Grace is the cloak that covers the naked and the palm that drops the rock.
Grace is divine power burgeoning in the absence of all strength.
Grace proves God true and every self-made man a liar for the sake of his own soul.
Grace is the power to do what we cannot do for the Name of Christ to go where it has not been.
Grace is a room of a thousand mirrors, all reflecting the face of Christ.
Grace is…
The eye popping
Knee dropping
Earth quaking
Pride breaking
Dark stabbing
Heart grabbing
Friend mending
Mind bending
Lame walking
Mute talking
Slave freeing
Devil fleeing
Death tolling
Stone rolling
Veil tearing
Glory flaring
Chin lifting
Sin sifting
Dirt bleaching
World reaching
Past covering
Spirit hovering
Child defending
Happy ending
Heaven glancing
Feet dancing…
Power of the Cross.
Jesus Christ, Grace Incarnate.

Thank you so much for posting this!
Thank you for these words Beth – there were balm to my soul. Watched your simulcast from my computer, and couldn’t have been more blessed. A thousand thanks. 🙂 (Since your Bible study “Breaking Free”, you have been such an instrumental teacher to me in my faith, I can not thank you enough). 🙂
Thank you, Beth, for the reminder that HIS GRACE COVERS ME COMPLETELY! <3
AMEN and AMEN! I participated in the simulcast on Saturday via Calhoun, GA! It was incredible! I was blessed to be able to share that day with my sweet mother, and it was truly a blessing to both us us! GOD’S GRACE IS SO AMAZING – IT IS BREATH-TAKING!
Thank you!
Thank-you, thank-you Beth! I was so inspired by the simulcast and the message of grace. I just wanted to stay when it was over and not have to go back out to the real world, knowing I will mess up again. And then I thought “Here I am defeating the message before I’ve even left!” 🙂
Thanks for posting these writings. They are life giving and encouraging. Thanks to all the hard work of everyone in and behind the scenes of this event! I was so happy that one of our local churches hosted.
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH, Beth, for posting this!! Really spoke to me this weekend! God bless you, your family, and AMAZING team!!!
I love the way HE uses you Beth! As a mouthpiece to reach our dark world.
Keep speaking truth in love. Beautifully put! Love you-
Amen Sista! Thanks for sharing this! Could you share the quiz questions you asked at the Simulcast as well? Thanks for your devotion to the Lord to reach out to other women, the Lord is using you in powerful ways. Glory to God! You are a blessing.
Love and Prayers,
Ellen
Love.
YES!!!!!! Thank you for these beautiful words. A beautiful picture of our glorious God!! I have a niece named Charis (her sister is Eleon) – I can’t wait to give her this poem. Thank you Beth – you are highly favored!
Ahhh…AMEN!
Thank you Beth!! These words filled my weary self with energetic life on Saturday and today! These words point straight to the lover of my very soul…King Jesus!!!
I love it…A room of a thousand mirrors, all reflecting the face of Christ! I know many rooms like that. I have taken the Lord there with me…full of shame and degradation, BUT the Lord covers me and heals me and brings to me beauty and honor! I love Him So MUCH! Bless you!
WOW. Maybe I will go ahead and buy the rights to watch!
Love this, thank you Beth for sharing! Such a great day it was!
Throwing my tape measure away! Grace that is greater than ALL my sins!
Hi Dear Beth!!
Thank you for this today!! I was in Colorado Springs at the simulcast and appreciated all you taught us!!
Irene
I could not attend the simulcast but oh I needed this! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this, Beth!
Thank you.
Thank you so much for making this creative writing on Grace available for us! I confess I easily slip into a “lazy law lover” rather than living abundantly as a “gleeful grace grabber” so Saturday’s simulcast was a great reminder to “NO LONGER” gravitate to law/shame but live in the glory of grace/name!
Thank you so much for posting this!! I was at Charleston and really wanted to see this again!! So POWERFUL…GRACE!!
This spoke volumes to me…annointed…
“Grace is the courage to stand in the shamed wake of a frightful falling.
Grace is the only fire hot enough to burn down a living hell.”
Oh how my weary soul needed these words this morning…
What an awesome day Saturday was! Our group was blessed by your message of grace and we are determined to NO LONGER be slaves to fear!
I wish I could express in writing one of those Beth Moore ‘whooping’ expressions. Whoo! Wha! Wow. Love it.
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing the words He laid on your heart today. Just what was needed (by many, I imagine).
Beth – thanks so much for posting this!! I was debriefing the simulcast with my sister on Sunday and mentioned this wonderful poem and how it’s changing my understanding of Grace…so much bigger than I presently conceive it to be. I’m so excited to share this with her. I’m still meditating and processing everything I heard. Saturday’s message was so timely for me and the Lord gave me a much needed word about a root entanglement. I’m now seeing it as the old dead self and picturing you with the “dead man” with funny hands and a ring. :). Thank you for your example of surrender. Your heart and love for The Lord is contagious.
So 1 year ago a scripture was burned into my soul.
Genesis 28:16 has changed me, Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place and I was not aware of it.” I’m in 6 Bible Studies and facilitate 5. It’s because I am a desperate woman.
For a year now we have begun every study with the question, “Where is one time this past week of the thousands of possibilities that we became aware of God: mad, sad, glad, scared, felt Him, smelt Him, heard Him, saw Him-that we can share with the group.
The task is to study His Word and also wake up and know surely God is in this place and I was not aware of it….O Merciful Father, Son and Holy Spirit please help me be aware of You and help me help others be aware of You too.
Grace is: God is in this place. Wherever, however, whyever, forever. You are in this place,Lord, and extra Grace is: O God, right now, today, thank You, God, I’m aware of it. Now Lord, plese help me see You for the next minute too.
Oh how I needed this on such a morning as this one.
Thank you for such an incredible reminder.
And grace shall lead me home….
Mercy rewrote my life too!
So grateful, so thankful for heart-stopping grace in the LORD Jesus Christ. Tomorrow is my 66th Birthday and of all the gifts, His love, His grace, His mercy TRIUMPHS!
Thank you for starting my day off with this heart healing reminder of grace Beth. I needed to hear it. ;_)
YES. MA’AM.
thank you, Beth.
I pray that these bondage breaking proclamations about our AMAZING GRACE set us free from a lifestyle of rules, regulations, and religion. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty!
Thanks so much Beth and the Living Proof team for a wonderful
Simulcast!
Thank you for posting this. I could not write it down fast enough on Saturday. These words were VERY powerful and profound!
Um…..WOW!!! I started reading this slowly because from you, I knew it was going to be amazing. I didn’t realize I was holding my breath until the end when I found myself light headed and seeing spots. I’m just gonna chalk it up to the shikinah glory of God coming through His words and finding me breathless from His glory in you.
Your Jesus is showing…Praise the Lord! Thanks for loving on us with powerful words from Him.
Stay Blessed!
I only have one word Beth Moore. Wow.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for posting. Couldn’t write them down fast enough. Ready to stand on His Name under His grace!
Thanks Beth!
I was at the simulcast on Saturday and was so hoping you would post this!!! Thank you! Now I just need the “conversation” I had with my Savior posted! I LOVED all the verses in red (spoken to me by Him) along with all the verses for me to respond back. That was so MOVING and healing to my soul! Please, please, post those!!
I am so thankful you shared this today. I have been searching for it since the simulcast Saturday. Beautiful, powerful words! I am printing this out and hanging it in my office! Blessings!
Amen. Amen. Amen!! Blessings to you all.
Oh my goodness!! What profound writing! This is beautiful, and exactly what I needed today. Thank you for continuing to be a true servant of Christ for all of us Siestas out here.
being a supporter of the gospel of grace, which has gotten me some criticism, I can say, once you realize how saved you are and begin to experience the freedom of Gods grace, theres nothing like it.
I SO thank you for sharing this piece! After hearing it at the simulcast, I was hoping you would post it. I am going to print it out and hang it on my bathroom mirror to remind me all that grace is. It is so easy to inch away from God’s amazing grace, so a constant reminder is so helpful. Thank you!
This touched me so when she read it at the simulcast. God is so good! Thankful for His grace!!!
All I say is thank you for the grace reading.
Gayle Thompson
Amen and amen!
I love this! I wish Beth would post the test questions that she gave us during the simulcast.
Beth! This is one of the most beautiful blogs I have ever read! Grace Incarnate indeed! Thank you for giving life to us:-0
Amen!
