Just Saying (an obviously sleepy) Hello

Siesteville from LPV on Vimeo.

Hey, Sweet Things! Amanda, Melissa, and I are on a night-or-two-close-by-getaway and we watched that silly video together last night and nearly laughed till we cried over how tired that woman was. The irony was that I actually thought I had rested up a bit. (And said so.) I could hardly put two words together. BUT, it was done with love! If not brain cells! You are good sports.

It gives new meaning to the phrase, “now we are cooking with grease!” You are so very funny, and so very dear.

    Good morning Mama Beth,
Oh how wonderful to hear your voice. I love, love the jacket so cute and the Crisco oil just made me giggle. I am looking forward to seeing you in June in our great state of Nebraska with my sweet mama. Thanks for sharing your love with us and being so real. Love you

Love the video. Love you. Would love to be able to just sit down and chat with you across the table. We will be able to do so someday in Heaven 🙂 I’m so thankful for the blessing and anointing of God on you and your team as you did the work on James. I’m looking forward to being a part of it.

Love, Love, Love this video! Thanks so much for sharing that with us. It was so great to hear in person from you and the tiredness just added a little more transparency (& laughter) for us. We love you Beth! And most importantly, we love Jesus with you.

    Sweet Beth,
Thank you oodles and bunches for blessing me this morning! Only through God’s amazing GRACE could I feel this closeness to you even though we have never laid eyes on each other! Because of our love for JESUS, I felt like you were talking to just me! I can hardly wait for James to begin. “You won’t waste a prayer on me”(I just love your words) as I prepare to move after 33 years in the same place, having a husband who is soon retiring after being a Veterinarian for over 40 years, both of us sick with a virus the past two weeks, and the 6th house in our neighborhood just posted a For Sale sign in the yard! But God can be trusted and has every detail of our new way of living worked out. I can hardly wait to see what He has for us next! Make wonderful memories with you daughters–LAUGH A LOT–it is the best remedy for tiredness!

Welcome back… it is wonderful to hear how God answers our prayers. I’ve got Nicol Sponberg’s Resurrection CD playing loudly and the songs just seem to voice my prayers this morning. I don’t remember which study you told us to pray and ask God to wake us up early to pray but I did and He wakes me up every morning before my alarm goes off. I watched this morning earlier before my coffee was ready so you were not the only “sleepy” one. I too like the Jacket!! 🙂 To those siestas who have posted prayer concerns this morning: I stopped to pray for each of your requests. I feel like you are family and do enjoy laughing and crying with you all.

Beth, So glad to hear your voice! Sitting here, in my jammies, a bit sick, but feeling so thankful to hear all the work the Lord has done with the study (can’t wait!!!) and the Thanks, Mom! campaign!

You make my heart laugh! Love Ya!

I am looking forward to the LPL event in Minnesota next weekend. I am bringing my adult daughter for the first time. How sweet it will be to sit under your teaching with her. I will be praying for you, your team and for a fresh annointing of the Holy Spirit and words straight from His heart to ours for that event.

I got a great laugh on that Crisco story…Actually I laughed almost the entire 11 minutes(I mean that in the nicest way). My husband said “Who is that woman carrying on in the kitchen?” I said ” Hush, it’s Beth Moore on the computer…I think she’s slap happy or a little sleep deprived!” It was awesome…LOVED it.

Thank you, Beth for blessing my morning with this video. Each LPM blog is like receiving a personal message from a friend. Since we relocated nearly 3 years ago, LPM has been my women’s ministry connection. I miss my Women on Mission so much, but I know God has a purpose and a plan for the situation I am presently experiencing. I’ve been doing Bible studies by myself and sharing them with friends on Facebook, my blogs, through my Siestas here, and even with my Weight Watcher groupies. It’s not a traditional support group, but the Lord is teaching me so much through this new season of my life. I’m learning to depend on Him and His perfect timing. Thank you for your ministry. May God bless our Siestaville! It is a pleasure to pray for you and LPM.

Love the jacket. Love the Crisco oil story. Love the tiredness (cause somebody last night said those fated words to this Insecurity Addict – “you look tired” =P)

Been enjoying your tweets. Love seeing the banter and the encouragement and prayer between you and the other ladies’ Bible Study leaders on there, so it was great to hear you mention the lack of competition between all of you. It’s so evident on Twitter the support that you all have for one another. Just some girls, loving the Lord, teaching the Word. Love you all!

Love all you do for the Lord! No competetion here, love all the women’s ministries, Women of Faith, Jennifer Rothschild, Proverbs 3l, and Beth Moore, etc.~love Bible study!
During Mother’s Day I tried to interview some of the mother’s, daughters, including little children on video.
I found how hard it was to keep the noise out and my voice off, luckily my son knew how to edit the video, so we could show it during our Women’s breakfast.
Well, I will continue to pray for you and your ministry.
You keep me smiling and what a wonderful blessing!
When can we order our Siesta jackets, ha! You started something. enjoy Sieta Sisters!

Beth, when you find yourself wondering what to do next…..could you do a study on the Love of God? I know it’s intertwined in every study you do (and maybe you’ve already done one, and I’m just not aware of it), but I’ve heard you say it was so life transforming when you finally “got” his love….the more I hear this the more I realize I don’t really know what people are talking about. But I would love to go through a study and “get” it like you and others do. 🙂

Beth~ Thank you for taking the time to give us this video greeting and update. May God bless you for your faithfulness to serve Him as you do… I totally can’t wait for “James: Mercy Triumphs”! (and the “So Long Insecurity” workbook, too). Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The jacket is adorable and Sabrina’s giggle in the background when you mentioned the hair ordeal(think it was her giggle) made me giggle 😀 Hope your Birthday was wonder-FULL, Sabrina.

Sieta Mama, You CRACK me up! You know if God can use a donkey to get His message across I am sure He can use CRISCO oil. HIS HOLY FIRE was sure to spread with this “special” oil. Love you!

Cutie Patootie! Hey … if you head through Kerrville between June 10-25th, stop at the Point Theatre (Hill Country Arts Foundation)in tiny Ingram, TX, for the outdoor play of Sleeping Beauty. I am not connected to them in any way, but I love that little theatre. I hope to take my family. It’s on the Guadalupe River, Beth, in the evenings … lightning bugs out. And they always do such an amazing job/performance. Even Keith would love it. Just if you are looking for something new to do on your way to the ranch.

I love that you used the Crisco, you crack me up!! I can’t wait for the James study I am sure my Bible study gals will do it in January.

Your vimeo particulary warmed my heart that you mentioned that you hear from other women Bible teachers, and that you support one another in your work. That is the body of Christ supporting one another to me!! Our women’s Bible study group is actually doing Angela Thomas’s Brave study right now. This is the first study of hers I have done, and I have really enjoyed it and her.

Thank you so much for sharing with us all!

    Happy belated Birthday Sabrina!

Pretty funny! I was, too, going to comment on how tired you looked and sounded, but decided not to. I thanked God there was someone else in the world that was as tired as I was! Glad you’re getting back to whatever normal is for you.

I can’t even begin to know how exhausted you must feel after taping a study. I know you put everything you have into those studies – and you are impacting the Kingdom!
