Oh… I LOVE this song!!! I will sing of my Redeemer!!! As Ps 107:1-2 says, “Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD SAY this, those He redeemed from the hand of the foe…” He tells the redeemed to “say”… and I for one have been redeemed, and thus I now live “saying”!!!!
I love how y’all did that with the stills and then added the video:) Very cool!:)
Awesome! Every time I watch one of these videos, I feel like I can step into the presence of God. Thank you so much for sharing. Beth–would still love to have an explanation of what a spiral is…and would LOVE for you to come to Indiana. Thank you again for sharing!!
Hi Pam!
A “spiral” is index cards bound together with a spiral thing. Beth keeps her scriptures that she is memorizing in a spiral. Last year the blog did a scripture memory challenge where many of the siestas memorized scripture for the year. Many of us kept our scriptures in a “spiral” and it was such a sweet blessing to see women with their spirals at the scripture memory celebration in Houston.
Get yourself a spiral siesta sister and start memorizing the Word if you are not already ๐
Love and blessings,
Bethany
Thanks to all of you for introducing me to the “spiral.” I will invest in one and start trying to memorize scripture. That is a sure way to learn His promises! Thanks so much…how fun!
A spiral is spiral index cards for scripture memory.
Pam,
A “spiral” is the spiral notebook of index cards that Beth (and others!) use to write down her memory verses. Then she can flip through them and have them all in one place. Using a spiral is more convenient than using loose notecards!
my so-called “spiral” is a little 4×6 24-picture plastic photo album so thin i keep in my purse – well i keep 2- one with my latest favourite scriptures and/or memory verses on 4×6 plain recipe cards, and the other with pics of my grandchildren. i cut off the covers so i can more easily see the album. mine do not have spirals but are glued or sewn i guess-in canada i couldn;t find the spiral ones small enough. one verse per card – sometimes in corner i mark the subject – eg. for grieving, encouragement, sickness, strength from the LOrd, as i do a lot of cards. hope that helps- i think the description of “a spiral” is mentioned at least once in each of her studies – i feel for you-i am sooo glad you finally know. now you too can start enjoying the scriptures close at hand. i am so glad you asked…
I really like this idea!
I think she is referring to index cards with scriptures. =)
I don’t say this lightly–it was a life-changing weekend for me.
Such a wonderful capture of the weekend, Rich–I love the video elements blending with the still photos!
As beautiful as always! Good job Rich! Loved the pic of Priscilla on her knees.
This was a life changing time for me. For the first time it really hit me that beauty comes from the ashes of ones past. The scars that I carry is nothing to be ashamed of, because they are my reminders of how far His grace and mercy reaches. Even when I feel like I have nothing to offer handing Him control and stepping out in faith there is a great blessing in that. I want to say thank you for allowing God to use you to speak to me and all “48 million” of us.
I am blessed because I need Jesus. Therefore, I need to live my life in Coram Deo.
With love from a sister in Utah,
Stormy
Stormy, my thoughts exactly!! I loved the whole weekend, and it lit a fire in me I have never felt before! Loved the 48 million comment, our inside joke….
Candace,
I am SO blessed to read your comment! I loved how you stated that it lit a fire in you like you have never felt before. Don’t we just serve an AMAZING God, who speaks to each of us and where we are? Yes, the 48 million is now an inside joke… the women I went with and I joke about it still (and I believe we will for years to come).
It was great to hear from you. To my knowledge this is the first time anyone has responded to any of my comment posts that I have made. So thank you… it helped me to realize that others really do read what I write.
God Bless you my sister in Christ. Hope we can stay in touch.
Stormy
I too enjoyed the live action videos…it added something to the video…
Beautiful – Thanks for sharing! I loved that study so much and would love to see the live event sometime.
Words cannot express what the weekend did for me! I was truly blessed by it Mama Beth! Hope you enjoy the t-shirt our group gave to you at the restaurant on Saturday night.
Rich!!! Pics AND video!!! That was wonderful. Such a blessed weekend. Just when I thought the LPL weekends were fantastic…I experience Deeper Still. I went expecting a mighty Word from Him…and I did. God’s faithfulness to me, is never ending. I love Him so!
Melana ๐
I love that song more and more. Looks like a great time was had by all. Another good job Rich, Carla
i love the addition of video among the still pictures. so realistic!!!! thanks for always doing this for us non attenders!!
I am, eternally, grateful for being able to attend with precious friends and that we came away, refreshed. Deeper Still Women, thank you!
With love,
Yolanda
Loved watching this (even though I struggled to keep my eyes opened because the hymn-song was moving me to worship with eyes closed and hands raised)! Creative combination of pictures and video, Rich!
It SOOO blesses my heart to see two women- women who I dearly love, and who God has used to continue to fan the flame of the desire He put in my heart for His word- to see them team together. First it was Ms Kay through Precept ministries when I was only a teen and a new believer. Then later came you, Ms Beth after my college years. So grateful for you both. And Priscilla, she is so adorable and full of fire! I have only heard her once before and she blessed me. And that mane of hers- oh my word! As a matter of fact all three of you have such thick, beautiful hair. All y’all may want to avoid ridin’ horses near the woods, if you know what I mean ๐ Just had to say that. I have just been through the books of 1&2 Samuel desperately trying to catch up in my Bible in 90-Days challenge (of which I remain behind), and that image was fresh on my mind.
Eposi
Thank you! Beautiful!
Just back from an extraordinary weekend with my daughter at Deeper Still in Denver. We were amazed and uplifted and enjoyed both Kay and Priscilla but – Beth – your ‘sermon’ on the Beatitudes was (as I find with all your studies), a fabulous, fresh new look at a very familiar topic. Thank you both for the message and for sharing so much of who you are with us!
Beth, may I share a few heartfelt thoughts? I’ll do my best to be brief . . . . First, I hope you know what a profound blessing your ministry is to so many of us out here in the world. Once again, I was struck by how enlightening, uplifting and powerful your teaching is!
Second, may I compliment you on your ability to keep your eye on the One who powers you rather than the crowds’ adulation. Maintaining the true humility of service that you demonstrate/radiate,I suspect would, for most, be tough – nigh on impossible. Atta’ gal!
Third, I was struck by the contrast of how deeply personal your message is and how isolated from us all you are in a venue such as that. I appreciate that you are able to “see” and speak to each of our hearts (all 49 million of us- grin), despite that challenge!
I trust you made it home to rest safe in His arms (and Keith’s), and pray that God continues to bless both you and your ministry! Thank you and your team for this wonderful weekend!
Lynne in Oregon
I can’t even begin to tell you how much this weekend meant to me! Loved the recap! Thank you so much for coming to Denver!
Everytime I watch one of these video’s my heart just overflows with joy seeing the faces of those present and knowing that the love of God is flowing throughout the arena and touching all.
Looks like a good time. I’m excited, last night our church voted to do the simulcast in Sept. I can’t wait!!
Thanks for the video …………… every time I watch one of these I wish that I had the time and the money to be able to attend every single one of these teachings. God always shows up there. I manage to get to at least one of Beth’s “live” teachings every year and every single time, God has shown up, every single time and you all know how amazing that is and selfishly I want more of being where He shows up !!! Thank you for your faith and for allowing Christ to speak to us through you – every single time.
Love, love, love the way Rick incorporated video with the still pictures. Absolutely AWESOME!
I know it was a beautiful weekend and thank you for the amazing pix and video. Some sweet siestas/friends were there and I know they received a WORD and I thank you for being the precious vessels that you are!!!
Hugs and blessings~
Fran
We DID receive a WORD, Fran!
I also loved the video! It was cool to see video among the pics. Great job, Rich! SOunds like it was a powerful weekend!
Joan
Wish so much that I could have been there, but since I wasn’t, I loved watching this video! Looking forward to beginning Bible Study next Tuesday, maybe getting the So Long, Insecurity DVD when it comes out, and going to the Living Proof Live Simulcast in September. I think it is awesome that what Beth started last year with scripture memory has continued for so many of us, and still getting explained to new people, and that we will be able to do it together again next year. Thank you again, Amanda for posting the video, Rich for putting it together, all of you for all you do!!!! Love you!
Amazing job Rich! I love how he incorporated the video! Who was that darling baby at the end? Was that Rich’s little one?
That was my baby girl, Anna Kate! It was so fun to see her on there. What a wonderful weekend!
Amy ~ my daughter and I couldn’t help but notice her with her darling head wraps while we were there! What a cutie pie she is!
I’m just so thankful for all that you do. For the blog, for your obedience and steadfastness, for sharing your hearts and your lives and insights and pictures and stories with us. For God being so amazing that He would be willing to pour Himself out on us through vessels named Beth, and Amanda, and Melissa, and Travis (Kay, Priscilla, Kelly, and all the vocalists/instrumentalists, too). What wondrous love and grace.
…I realized the other day that I’ve really been missing you ladies – just like I miss my dearest friends when I haven’t seen or talked to them in a while. I’m looking so forward to the summer study and the 2011 Scripture Memory so I can be back in closer fellowship with you. It’s a sweet longing that makes my heart rejoice in a God who thought up and sustains this body of Christ.
And Rich! Thank you, Rich! What a beautiful talent you have been given and how blessed we are by it.
FANTASTIC JOB
FANTASTIC JOB Rich…..you are truly amazing. Thank you so much for the great piece…..it truly does bring it right to you!!
Worship team, your energy amazes me!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!
I pray a “Deeper Still” comes closer to MI!! I would so LOVE to go!!
Blessings to all,
Bible Bunny in NO MI
My DEEPEST THANKS to:
1.The LifeWay team. I was suppose to volunteer, but between my 17 y.o. son leaving for Spain on Saturday; my 14 y.o. son developing pneumonia, and my 8 month old puppy having surgery (all happening this past week), I couldn’t make it Friday. They so graciously said they would accept me at any point, but I was emotionally & physically spent when I showed up late on Saturday morning. They also willingly accepted the last minute volunteer registration of two college girls that I wanted to bring with me. These two girls have never been to a conference before, and had not heard of our speakers(gasp!). I found a ride for them so that they could attend all of it. Shout out especially to Drew, who was so kind and encouraging to my girls!!
2. Travis and team. Worship Saturday after lunch really ministered to me. I know most of those songs, but the Spirit of God spoke so specifically to me, telling me I am loved, and not forgotten. That truth was so powerful that I wept through all of the songs.
3. My Beth. oh yeah Sistah, I KNOW I NEED him, and so I am Bah-LESSED! I have never doubted His love for me, but because of circumstances to lengthy to mention, I have felt like I have fallen out of God’s favor. But now, I shall live Coram Deo, and I shall be GLAD!!!
Because of your willingness to be transparent before us: a)one of the college girls felt the freedom to confide in me thing that happened to her as a child. Things that she has hidden, that have brought shame and condemnation on her. You broke that off of her, Mama Beth! And now the Spirit can bring healing.
b)I realize that God can use me in spite of my flaws! God has given me such a tender heart for this young woman. And the Spirit has used the beauty from my ashes to speak life into her.
Amen and Amen!
I was blessed to attend the Denver Deeper Still event! I still haven’t had time to process all of the teaching, but the Lord was doing a mighty work.
Just wondering if there is any chance that the commissioning statement Beth read at the end could be published here? It was AWESOME and I need to remember it!
Thank you, thank you from one of 49 million who were changed this weekend.
Diane
One more thing:
I gave Priscilla’s “Hawk” a little message and gift to give to your Hawk to give to you. One sanguine to another, if there’s a birthday, there has to be a present!
I am so thankful that you come to us, no matter how big or small the crowd is. The Lord has truly Bah-LESSED you, and you dear one, Bah-LESS us!
Jillian, living in Texas in the mountains.
There is nothing more powerful than God’s Love. Awesome!
Thank you for sharing! I am praying for all of you!
Just read something from Nicole Johnson “Dramatic Encounters with God”.
You keep what is whole and pretty; you know what to do with that. But you don’t know what to do with what is broken. You despise it; you want to hide it. But Jesus has a better way.
“Stretch out your hand”…”Stretch out your heart”
Reach, even if it hurts__stretch past your righteousness and religion__stretch out your heart and it will be restored.
___This video reminds me of God’s forgivenss, a chance of freedom and praise to Our Redeemer.
Thank you, Lord for stretching your hand out to us when we are desperate to know You and need to be set free from our brokeness.
That was an awesome video I really liked it alot,
Thanks Rich and all the Lifeway team for all you all do.
I just love watching all those women worshiping the One and Only.
Thanks Amanda for posting that
Love Carol
IF!!!! IF!!!! IF!!!! EVER……I shall get a tatoo???
Coram Deo!!! would be my choice.
OOHHHHHH Patti, that is the first time I have EVER even REMOTELY thought of getting a tatoo! Maybe I’ll get some fake ones made.
Thank you so much for the recap. I love watching what went on at a conference.
Isn’t it just amazing to see what God is up to? I love the end, the clapping gave me chills.
The sound of the Kingdom is so riveting.
This ministry is a blessing to me.
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
I just love seeing all those women praising Abba Father together.
I am so thankful that HE can set us free!!
What a generous and blessed recap of Denver. I am always amazed at the thousands of women in your audiences seeking the healing and the encouragement of our Lord. It reminds me of the Matt.9:38 verse- about the harvest being great and the workers being few- THANK YOU Beth and all at LPM and those involved with your Deeper Still team for being “workers” for the harvest. So few ministries address the true nature of women’s challenges. Blessings, Kathy
I cannot even begin to put words to what Deeper Still meant to me. I went knowing that the Lord was going to meet me there I just didn’t know in what way. I went solely on the basis of seeing you Beth and was then blown away by both Ms. Kay and Priscilla. I have just walked out of Breaking Free and the Lord has done an incredible work in my heart. He has me in this incredible season and Friday night He spoke to my heart and told me to be prepared, for what I don’t know, obviously but I am waiting expectantly on Him to show me in His timing. When you spoke Beth on living Coram Deo and spoke of sleeping with your bible on your face I could so relate. When I first started Breaking Free I was so heart broken, so depressed that all I could do some nights was just lay in bed with my bible next to my chest and cry. But He met me there. My heart is so full after this weekend and I just thank you for your honesty and boldness in sharing your life and testimony with us because it has helped women like me pick up the pieces and know that I too can break fee.
Someone please give us a recap of the Word preached!!- with a few more than just “the beatitudes”- a brief outline would be smashingly terrific- i would so love to be able to attend the deeper-stills. have to wait till it comes to detroit or toronto. Thanks!!
Beautiful song and video. Thank you for the visual and auditory blessing!
Praying for you all,
Lisa
What a sweet video! Loved the baby at the end……she represented the future generation of women who love the Word!
I attended with my youngest daughter and I will tell you it was such a precious time, so sweet, so encouraging, and it called both of us to a higher level of service for our Lord…all three speakers made us want to fly in ways we have never before done, to serve with abandon and intensity! Thank you Beth for coming to Denver…..
I have studied Priscilla and Beth’s book studies with my women’s bible group…to see this video with both of them on stage is awesome. I can only imagine actually being there…would have loved to have all the women in my bible study there listening to God’s message through those two women!
Help! What is wrong with me? I can’t get the video to play. Instead of a play arrow, I’m seeing a circle with a slash (like a no smoking sign). What am I doing? I’m going to Deeper Still in December and was craving a preview! I know the Lord’s gonna show up!
NO FAIR!! =) So many of my friends were there. So thankful for other believing women! I love them so!!
HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW – that was AWESOME!!!!! Great ‘snapshot’ and encompassing song – so Blessed by this! Thank you for sharing – was so moved!!!
lovingly, Barb
Looks like it was an awesome time! I loved the video embedded in the video.
It was fun to see Magness Arena again…I was there 31 years ago with all my classmates eceiving my high school diploma!
Thanks for sharing…..always love watching these recaps!
P.S…Happy Birthday, Mama Siesta!!
Posting to ask all of you prayer warriors to please pray for a sweet, young mother who had to have her first babies – twins, delivered by c-section today at 23 weeks. One weighs 1.2 lbs and the other 1.7lbs, they are stable in the NICU.. but as if that wasnt enough.. the mother had a pulmonry embolism during the surgery and was rushed to another hospital unresponsive. Prayers have been lifted all afternoon all over MS and spreading out and she has opened her eyes, her kidneys are working, and she responded to some stimuli.. but dr isnt sure she understands them.. PLEASE pray for a complete recovery for Megan and her babies to grow and become healthy. Pray for her husband, her parents and all the family as they wait for good news! God is already answering prayers! Thank you in advance for praying! Love to all!
Praying now.
Thank you so much Amanda!! Megan has “waked” up and become responsive today.. Praise God!!! Her husband was able to show her a short video of the babies in the NICU! Please keep praying that one day before we know it they will be taking those sweet babies home and enjoy watching them grow into adults! THey will and we will, ALL give God ALL the glory!!!
Thank You, Jesus!
