Headband hair!! Why is it only precious on babies?!?!? Especially this one! It did dawn on me that she might have her Bibby's hair!! It may never do "small" again! What a blessed baby! ๐
Only too true in terms of reality isn't it? My two look pretty cute Sunday morning, but if we go out for lunch- the dresses and faces get totally covered with all manner of stains! Thank heavens for oxiclean.
I remember a line of the the lyrics from Amy Grant's song " I love you" off of Unguarded- "Oh to stay your princess, if I only could. If you never saw the rotten, only saw the good." I guess that's still the longing of all of our hearts from adults to little girls as we dress up on Sunday morning. Thankfully God still sees us as his princess however we look- both the before and the after! Thank you Lord!
Thanks for sharing a little reality with us, Amanda! ๐
It was raining here Sunday AM. My umbrella had sprouted legs and walked away so I grabbed a lined windbreaker to cover my head. By the time I got into church my hair looked like Annabeth's "after".
Awww.. you make me miss my babies!!! They grow UP sooo fast!
She's beautiful! So's her mommy! And so is her precious big brother!
Wonder, Amanda, if God doesn't take snapshots that He loves to capture in a Heavenly Album of His Own of His girls (and guys) in their "Son-day Best"… looking to Him as just beautiful!!!
Anna Beth is such a precious little girl!! I bet you just want to eat her up!! Makes me remember my two little girls Sid & Sam. Soak up very minute you can with her….it goes by so fast!!
Hey Amanda/Beth I'm sure you all have been filled in by Melissa, but I wanted to ask if you all would do a prayer for GA because of the terrible flooding so the sisesta could pray as well. Thanks so much Love Christi, A Ga Girl
Totally!! Why does it always look like they've been through a war when they get out of the nursery?? So funny though, my daughter's hair is always a mess too ๐ And she usually smells like the perfume of whoever held her!
Isn't "siesta" the Spanish word for nap? Yes! Then why are our LPM blog readers called siestas? One time Beth typed out the word "sistas," referring to our blog readers, and her spell checker wanted her to change it to "siestas." The name stuck! You can read about it here. If you read this blog, consider yourself a siesta! It's just another word for sister.
I am digging her "after" hair.
Sooooo adorable, Amanda! I see her big brother in her! ๐
Her and that thumb!!!! She's a beauty ๐
Soooo Precious!!!!!!!
She is about a sweetie.
Very very cute!
Darling girl…before and after!

Annabeth has innocence in those eyes…..but they also say "catch me if you can"!! Almost reminds me of the stories of her Aunt Melissa!
With an older brother that is all boy, it will be interesting to see the personality of this girl.
Just as cute as she can be….you are going to have a lifetime of fun and challenge….get ready for a fun ride!!
Absolutely precious!!
What a cutie!!
How big is she now next to the Big Pink Bear??? ๐
I love it! She is adorable. I miss the days of dressing up my girls (and my boys!) and everyone being happy about it.
Enjoy these days!

That is why my child wears $10.00 princess costumes to church most Sundays.
Add in Kool-Aid and donuts to the mix and it's a dangerous place for smocked dresses.
smocking!!!!!

I just love those great big, Texas sized blue eyes!! Look out when she learns to bat those lashes to get her way!!

Also, I was going to check on Melissa… is she being affected by all of the flood waters?? Hope she is okay.
