Those pictures are to cute espically the ones after church Amanda thanks for sharing she has it looks like some red hair or is that just the picture? But she sure is a doll those blue eyes of hers to cute. Love you all your siesta in Albuq NM
I liked the title too…"Sunday Best"…unfortunately our church just had a little tiff about what somone 'should wear to church'…..not just any someone but the preacher……we are looking for a new pastor and some people were 'bothered' that one very good and godly candidate did not dress up enough for his day to preach…..honestly, some young people got up and walked out(not out of the preaching service, but out of the business meeting later when someone brought up the topic). They were so disgusted with even the discussion……As my son said, "I love God but sometimes I hate church." What are your thoughts on 'wearing your best to church"?? PS- I wear nice clothes but not necessarily a dress. And I couldn't care less what someone else wears as long as it covers what it's supposed to!
Living proof (ha, no pun intended there) that she's adorable not matter what she wears or how dirty or wrinkly she is! I know I struggle with this with my boys too. But, no matter what, when I pick them up from the nursery with their heads all sweaty and their faces covered in cheerios (or snot), I still just wanna kiss their whole faces and show them off to the world.
Thanks for sharing your adorable daughter with us! She and Jackson are such cuties!
Annabeth's hair is light brown, although sometimes it looks reddish in certain light and in pictures.
Pat, there is everything from casual to formal dress at our church. (Last week I had Annabeth in her jeans.) I don't think it's a big issue for us, although maybe for some people it is and I don't realize it. God knows the attitudes of our hearts when we get dressed for church. I think whether we are dressing in jeans or suits, we all have the capacity to honor or dishonor Him with our clothing.
Look at me breaking my own rule! Anyone can email me at [email protected] if they have questions. Love y'all! AJ
You have gorgeous kids Amanda, but I probably didn't need to tell you that. I pray that the glimmer they have in their eyes now will be brought to fruition as they walk in the path of their parents… Loving Jesus and letting the Holy Spirit shine through.
Oh my goodness! She is just too cute! She loves the camera, doesn't she? I could never get my girls to keep bows in their hair. Do you always have a camera with you? You seem to get so many great shots. My camera always seems to be on the other side of the room or some place out of reach. Kels
Amanda- Your children are gorgeous! With mine grown (24 & 21)& not ready for marriage (thank goodness), it warms my heart to see pictures of Annabeth & Jackson. Keep them coming! And praise to you & Curtis for being such loving parents.
Too sweet! I love pictures, and appreciate you sharing with us. I'm sure your kids will love having all these precious memories when they grow-up. The digital world of cameras makes it difficult for me to control how many pictures I take. Back in the 35mm days–I never would have taken as many as I do now.
Ha! Looking at her reminds me of a photo my mom took when I was a little older than Annabeth…the only difference is I had flowers wrapped around my little head:) If I can figure out how to share that picture with you I will:)
Hey! she looks great! Sometimes, i get my girls dressed and ready to go and by the time I'm dressed my self — they have already gotten their dresses all wrinkled and the bows aren't in anymore…..=)
I'm a mom of 3 and sometimes it just didn't seem worth it to get them all 'dolled' up just to have them crawl around in the floor during church. But, mind you, I did it every week just the same! She's adorable and looks so much like Jackson, don't you think?
How precious can she be? Amanda she has those beautiful eyes like Jackson has. I am in our church Nursery most Sunday mornings and sometimes I feel I come out of there looking like that too!
She is just a little princess. Thanks for sharing pics. I neve get tired of seeing them. Jan
My "before church" looks all-together, pressed, every hair in place. My "after church" is pretty much like AnnaBeth…wrinkles, questionable hairstyle, no more lipstick. It's all that praisin', worshipin', huggin' & lovin' for a few hours. Little AnnaBeth…it only gets better!
Isn't "siesta" the Spanish word for nap? Yes! Then why are our LPM blog readers called siestas? One time Beth typed out the word "sistas," referring to our blog readers, and her spell checker wanted her to change it to "siestas." The name stuck! You can read about it here. If you read this blog, consider yourself a siesta! It's just another word for sister.
It was good while it lasted, huh? TOO cute! Enjoy her!
Look at that baby! She's just all sassy in her cute little dress, and not to mention her bow! So sweet Amanda!
how Precious !!
Precious Annabeth is a beautiful sight for a siesta's sore eyes on a rough Monday morning. Thanks for the lift. She's adorable!

Love you all your siesta in Albuq NM
Amanda, she is sooo beautiful! (I'm sure I'm not the first to tell you!) She is just a little doll! Bless her heart….enjoy her!!
SHE NEEDED HER BIBBY!!!!!! Oh, it's TOO MUCH! I can't stand it any longer. GET THOSE BABIES TO THEIR BIBBY!
Your Anna Beth is a living doll! I
How absolutely beautiful! She IS gorgeous, Amanda!
She is darling, both BEFORE and AFTER!
That child must have had some serious worship yesterday! Too fun! Love it:)
WHAT a sweetheart. Your family makes my heart happy. ๐
Man, she is stinkin precious!!!
She is as beautiful as Jackson is handsome. Is she a redhead??
Cute as a button!!!! Thanks for sharing.

haha – Annabeth needs Bibby or Bibby needs Annabeth??
How Great is our GOD!
I am so happy for you!! What a doll!
I occasionally work in our church's preschool on Sunday mornings. If we could take before and after on each child! ha.
She is beautiful, but I think she needs her Bibby! =)
Blessings!

That little gal doesn't mess around when she gets her praise on, does she?
:o)
She is such a cutie patootie!
Hugs,
Melinda
Love, love, love the smocked dress and bow. Ask Sunni and Tiffani how much I love them!
She just looks likes she was loved on during church! Who could resist?
Boy- she wore that dress to the glory of God didn't she? Sooo cute.
And she's just as beautiful AFTER church as before! Looks like she really got "into" worship!!!
Too cute!
Oh how precious! I love her smocked dress! Too cute!
Too adorable! Do I detect some red in that hair?
Our church has playgrounds….so we get them all dressed up in their Sunday best to go on the playground…..
Thanks for sharing!

She is just precious! With or without a bow.
Love ya!
It's only the entrance that matters anyway right?:o) She is a cutie!

Lets all say it together now….AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, haha!!! ๐
Oh my…. Annabeth did have a good time in church! PRECIOUS!

The sticking-up hair is the best kind for rubbing my chin into and smelling that wonderful baby smell!
My youngest "baby" is 13 now — he doesn't smell so great at times ๐
All sweetness and sugar plums. Couldn't you just eat her up? Even with the bow off and slept in dress, she's the one!
What a joy!

How sweet is she? I need to tell you-I SO needed that this morning! Having a rough Monday! Thanks for the smiles!

Adorable! I like to justify my lack of ironing ability with the idea that there's no sense in ironing what will just get wrinkled in the car-seat :-p
She is too precious!
Cute!!! Does this mean she is crawling now????
she is seriously the prettiest baby ever.
