Taping at Life Today

You girls know we are absolutely shameless in asking for prayer, so here I come again with another request! Mom is in the Dallas area, my old stomping grounds, this weekend. Between tonight and tomorrow afternoon she will tape five teaching sessions for “Wednesdays with Beth” on “Life Today with James and Betty Robison.” (She’ll teach two sessions tonight and three on Saturday.) She does several of these tapings each year. These weekends are incredibly intense. Imagine a Living Proof Live event with two extra sessions. Each time she is completely dependent on God for a sustained anointing, perfect health, full energy, restorative sleep, concentrated preparation time, focus, and a great connection with the audience – in other words, a demonstration of the Spirit’s power! It is a good and desperate place to be.

My dad is usually with her on these weekends because they feel that she benefits from the covering of his presence and his prayers. He is not able to be at this particular taping, so we would like to ask our sweet siestas to help us with some extra prayer coverage for Beth. These episodes reach what is to me a mind-boggling amount of people. Please pray that Jesus will completely overtake my mom and use her to teach the Word boldly and accurately to the studio audience and viewers at home. Pray that His name will be glorified through all of this. Thank you so much, friends! It is all about Him!

We love you bunches and we are so thankful for you.
Love,
Amanda

I just now read this and will definetly be praying. Your mom’s teachings are so amazing and so timely–I remember listening to the intro session to the Woman’s Heart study and walking out of there and going “She’s been reading my mind.” (and the sessions were taped 2 yrs before i did the study!)

To this day, your mom is the only one who can adress any issue–even the hard ones that I said nobody has a right to bring up–but when it comes from her, I’m just looking fwd to hearing everything she has to say about it.

I am a faithful blog reader and attended the taping this weekend. The sweet Spirit fell all over Beth and the audience. God was up to a HUGE WORK this weekend. Praise! He is so faithful!

I just returned from the taping. I had the privilege to worship with you Beth and bring my Mom along with me. I loved having her sitting right beside me, knowing we share the same love for the same great God.
I didn’t raise my hand to tell what I have heard from the sessions ( WAY TOO SHY FOR THAT) but the storm I am in that is leaving me literaly exhausted is an unequally yoked marriage to a man that abuses alcohol. I am trusting God for the redemption of a bad marriage to be used for his Glory. I am holding the umbrella and praying daily that he find the shelter of the Most High.

Thanks for opening your life to us to be used by God.
    God Bless you IMMENSELY!

Praying for you Siesta Mama! And for Miesta Dad too! Praying that God will provide his loving care and watch over you while you and your man are apart. That He will shelter you under His mighty wing. That He will fill your mouth with His word and His laughter!
It was such a joy, Beth, to read your response to Amanda’s post as well. My response was the same. On my face praying for my family and my friends who need Him so. Praying especially for a co-worker who is coming to do Stepping Up with me, but won’t come to church! Amanda, I copied and pasted that post to MANY! So clear and so true the Word of the Lord was given to you. Share on sweet sister. Let His Word be heard.
Can’t wait to watch this weekend’s taping on Life Today. God has used so many of those sessions in my life. I have the CD’s and listen to some over and over again. My children have some memorized! Yes, the most recent on Forgiveness was very intense for me as well. As I cried my way through it, it was as if the Holy Spirit himself washed right over me! Thank you so much, Beth for being so faithful in these desperate times. And thank you, James and Betty, for your “avenue” to do so. You are a blessing to millions!

Father – bless our sister Beth even now. Wrap your arms around her, give her remembrance of everything she needs to speak, and give her a special anointing to share from the overflow in her heart. Give her energy and strength in abundance. May You be praised and may she lift HIGH the name of the MOST HIGH GOD. May Your Word go forth from her lips and fulfill every purpose for which YOU intend oh Father. We love You, and we thank You for loving us with an everlasting love.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen

Can I just say how thankful I am for Life Today and Wednesday’s with Beth. The series she is teaching right now “Living Forgiving” has been life changing for me. I listen to them over and over again. I will be praying extra hard even though it is probably over by now. I just logged on and read the post and it’s late on Saturday night. God is faithful and will fulfill His purpose through His humble and faithful servant. Love you all!

These tapings are finished now, so I will be praying that our dear Miss Beth is able to get lots of refreshment over the next few days, and that she be able to share it with our Lord in some way…

And, Lord Jesus, I thank You for what only You could do through our sweet teacher’s vessel these past 2days !!! I know how genuinely faithful Miss Beth is to You, O Lord, and I doubt that anything has changed since I was on her Bible study prayer team over the sanctuary in Houston. I know that she does NOT want to “go anywhere where You are not, Father God”.

I have also been on the receiving end of these wonderful tapings via the Life Today website. And, I have yet to see anything but the same precious teacher, who loves You more than Life! I have never failed to learn something from You through her teachings. And, we have only You to thank for that, O God. =)

And, studying with her cd studies, etc. is awesome, but I still enjoy actually being able to “see” our Beth online like this. And, I thank James and Betty [Robison] for “taking her under their wing” and for helping her feel so safe and comfortable on their program. They are wonderful “under-shepherds” towards bringing You glory, Lord Jesus !!!

    Love, in Christ Jesus,

Incredible. Amazingly absolutely aa JESUS SHOW incredible.

Thank you for praying over the weekend because it showed.

And – a few of us had a little mini siesta fiesta while in line… I got to meet Tiffany/ForHisGlory which is just amazing because we had no idea either of us were going to be there much less that either of us lived in the area. A God ordained meeting!

Anyways… it was a blessing. Truly a blessing.

And, I am QUITE sure that I AM the ONLY woman in the Dallas, TX who has NEVER colored her hair. 🙂

    Blessings,

Please please have your mom read this, even if you don’t Post it.

This weekend was amazing.. She looked more like Jesus to me in that 5 hour setting than anyone ever has. I know she is Beth Moore, not an idol…but I sure saw a lot of Jesus coming through her. I laughed with her and I cried with her, and oh, how I heard and felt the word of God and his presence with her. When I got in my car to come home yesterday, I know I was clapping with her!!!! and yelling… Good Job God, Good Job, because if nothing else, I heard him say to me …. Lichelle I see all of your darkness, you’ve been redeemed and girlfriend, I love you too!

Oh there was so much more, the food of our Father and the Drink of the living water just poured all over my skin. What a shelter He will be for me now and always! And THEN the peice to resistance(sp) I hope I spelt that right… she sealed the word with an awesome prayer! That was the most incrediable thing I had ever seen. I felt so sealed and like.. that is my word, He gave them to me and no one, not even the enemy himself could take them away! Bless you Mamma Beth!

I am ever so greatful to have been a part of that taping. Now it is time for your mom to take that rest she was talking about. Her poor little voice. I just wanted to exchange that water that was by her for some hot tea with lemon and honey to coat her voice and help it to feel better.

What blessing Our Heavenly Father has given to our Mamma Siesta! And what a gift He has given to let her share that with me!

I love you Beth! Amanda, Melissa, Keith.. thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your mom with all of us.

Blessings, great Grace and tender Mercy on your family the rest of this glorious weekend. Thanks for letting me share.

I prayed for you all weekend! Let us know how it went! : )

***I was laughing to my self the other day while I was praying for you! I learned from you years ago about going Face Down! One of my Absolute Favorite things in the world to do now! (Thank you) Anyway, I went face down in my closet the other day and realized that is where my dog, Scrubby, (who I thought was potty trained) has been secretly tee teeing (Yuck I know… probably shouldn’t share that out loud… it really doesn’t smell in there until your nose is in it!) Anyway… after I grossed out and had to pray not to kill the dog or give him away! I had a good laugh!***

Love you all! Emmy : )

    Mama Beth,

I prayed for you this weekend and thought of you yesterday. I was at the 3:16 live event with Max Lucado and our very own sweet miesta Travis Cottrell in San Jose, Ca. That man is truly gifted and passionate for the Lord. I was so blessed to be sitting on the front row of the floor and just was blown away by how powerful a worshiper that he is! So…I’m just singing Travis’s praises today!
And no, you are not a wierdo!!!!! You are simply filled with the Spirit and the Word so you can’t help but see a series of numbers and associate it with a scripture passage! That is a lesson that I must take and begin to implement….I am so bad at scripture memorization so this is a good idea to me!

    Happy Sunday!!

    Beth and Amanda,

It is on my heart to quote, “Come to me all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” I am praying that Beth finds rest in the midst of this. That as her Strong Tower fills her with righteous annointing she will see new glimpses of the Kingdom. There will be such a powerful inspiration of the Spirit that all she has to do is be there. The work will be effortless because it will all be Him. The One leading the dance….

    Blessings,

Loved your powerful message on Hurricane Hell… We are definitely being pursued by Satan and all the more reason to gather all those that don’t know Him as our Jesus our Lord and Saviour!!
Satan is the Captain Hook of Hell and his time is running out!! With God’s help, let’s get’em on the GOOD Ship to Heaven( back in the day as I was growing up, Shirley Temple’s Good Ship Lollipop!)
Can’t wait to hear about the trip to India and the TV tapings!

Miss Beth, Just got to read this post but I will pray right now for you to recieve rest as you finish with all your tapings. I just enjoyed your Loving Well series at our ladies retreat this weekend, so I’m feeling especially close to you 🙂 Thank you so much for your obedience to teach all that He calls you to. It was a blessings to hear from you and my heart has been challenged and changed. I’m dipping in the Loving Well so that I might love well. I just adore you and I can’t wait for that time you mentioned where we will get to hug one another’s neck and share stories of God’s faithfulness. I sure hope everything went as well for you this weekend as it did for me.

    HIS Daughter says:

I pray that even though I missed the call to pray for the weekend, that GOD’S annointing power through HIS Holy Spirit rest on Beth every time she opens her mouth to proclaim HIS GLORY.

I just sent the back episode link to a young 18 year old who thinks she has let GOD down because of a sexual failure in her life.

How wonderful to share your Mom’s testimony and mine and so many others who feel we messed it up and are not longer any good for use by a Holy God!

I heard a quote from a minister that said, “GOD can’t use you until HE humbles you”. Your Mom knows that well and boy, do I!!

    Praying for you guys,
    Teri

What a Spirit soaked 5 hours I spent learning from Beth this weekend. I am so grateful that the Lord appointed me to be there because He knew I needed to hear it. The sealing prayer at the end was new for me and absolutely profound. I met siestas in line and we had a blast laughing and connecting. Thank you as always, Beth, for being available to the Lord to speak His truth. Thank you, Keith, Amanda and Melissa for sharing her with us.

I hope hot tea and honey are on Beth’s list of things to do today for her voice.

My sister and her hubby relocated to Houston early this year. This weekend I went down to see them. The WHOLE TIME we’re at malls, Starbucks and whatnot, I’m all giddy with excitement thinking “Maybe Beth will be here and I can hug her and cry and tell her how her ministry has helped me so much!!” But alas, I didn’t see her.

Then I check the blog this morning only to find that she was in Dallas all weekend. Beth, I’M FROM DALLAS. All weekend I think I might see you in your stomping grounds and the whole time you’re up in my stomping grounds!! 😉

    Oh well, maybe next time…

    Love,

    Marni

PS-I enjoyed Houston so much. I was stunned at the damage you suffered at the hands of Ike. I prayed for your city and all the others effected by Ike all weekend.

    Dear Siestas,
I so appreciate that we can be in prayer together over current needs (anxious to hear how the taping went!). Could I ask that we join in prayer for a couple of things that we’re hearing a lot about in the news? One is the financial crisis and its effects. Thank the Lord He is our Provider no matter what happens but this is a reminder of how vulnerable we are as a people and how much we need Him for our daily bread. Also, for the upcoming election – I’ve been impressed lately how desperately we need God to take over the whole process and put His man in that oval office. We sure don’t deserve His help but we need it so much right now. Thank you for letting me share these burdens.

I kept checking to see of any news but from our siesta review – it was awesome – Praise God! I had to laugh at the number association thing too. During the building project, we would change our combination lock on our gate to different scripture references. One day we got a call from a contractor and said that they had tried every well-known verse they could think of but it wasn’t working! hehehe. I told them the combination and they went home to find out what it was! So – no you are not weird, Beth! :~)

I hope that the weekend was an answer to prayer and that the taping went well! The Wednesdays With Beth series has been such a blessing to me!!! My favorite part about WWB is that you can download the many of the archived episodes to itunes, so now I can listen in my car or even at my desk at work! (My boss has never noticed…sometimes I just need some Jesus up in my cubicle!) Anyway, thanks Beth, James, and Betty for providing this unique way to hear the Word!
