It’s our fearless leader’s birthday! Thank You, Lord, for my mom’s sweet life and for the work you have done and are doing through her. Thank you for the selfless, loving, wise mother she is. I pray you would bless her with abounding joy on this day and in the next year to come. Amen! Happy birthday, Mama!

Oh my gosh! As usual, Amanda made me cry and Melissa made me laugh out loud. So, in the lines of Melissa, I just read a post of another siesta (another sister) who wrote you a beautiful birthday verse so I'm sure it will overshadow what I wanted to write. Actually, I'm the oldest of 2 girls and she's the sappy one.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sister in Christ, my mentor in The Word, my mama Beth. To the place I go to know I'm understood, and know that the longer you're in ministry the deeper your love for can Him grow; not the more tolerant you become of lukewarm living.
Thank you God for Beth's life. Bless her and keep her. Make your face to shine upon her and give her peace. I'm so grateful God, for her living proof of a being a real (not really) godly woman. (Can you make her write a book for mother's on how to raise children who love You and live for You?)

Oh to take this day, your birthday,and thank you (such a lame word to express a heart humbly full), and from one (of many) that you have never met, but one who has been so impacted by God through your life and teachings. I praise God for the victories He has given you. Only eternity will tell the incredible rewards you will have as a result of your passion and perseverance. I know what God has gifted and strengthened you to do is none other than God-done. You are a rare blessing. My life is so much different if you had not been a physical living-proof example of the power of God. I will not and could not ever go back to living the old way. (Now I'm scared that I typed that statement.) I can't imagine ever desiring to live the old way. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Thanks for sharing so openly on the blog. Your family is such an encouragement and inspiration to me as the mother of two young daughters (ages 3 and 6). I lost my mom to cancer when I was 17, and I have no sisters, so hearing from the three of you really gives great insight to mother-daughter-sister relationships. Plus, it's just a hoot to read about onion rings and river hair!

What an incredible message you delivered! What I remember most was Moses saying to the Almighty God, "Show me Your Glory!" Since that time I have walked through every Bible study that your precious hands and heart have pounded out. And I have witnessed so many lives redeemed and transformed as we have been shown His Glory over and over.
