It’s our fearless leader’s birthday! Thank You, Lord, for my mom’s sweet life and for the work you have done and are doing through her. Thank you for the selfless, loving, wise mother she is. This year I have given everyone in our family and a few friends a blessing that included a Scripture with their “birthdate” in the reference. Along with the meaning of their name and a prayer for blessing:
Elizabeth – Origin: Hebrew -“Oath of God”
“What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

I can think of no one, Beth, who exemplifies this passage of laying aside agreements with idols, and allowing God to walk among “them” acknowledging Him wholly as your God and yourself as His people.
Lord God, I pray a generous outpouring of Your wisdom, You love, You rest and Your grace to continue to overflow from the life of our Precious Beth. She is dear to us Lord, and as I am sure – to You. Protect and preserve her Lord as she proclaims your word to the hurting, to the suffering and to the “dying” that they may receive salvation, healing and hope through the teaching of Your holy Word. Been reading in II Chronicles and 17:9 jumped out at me for you on your birthday! Jehoshaphat taught the Word and the fear of God fell on his kingdom.
