Hi Siestas! We know you are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the SSMT celebration (we are too!) It would be fantastic help if you would answer a few quick questions (by August 3rd), which will help us so much with the fiesta planning!
Note: this is NOT an official sign-up for the event, more of a “pre-roll call.”
Click here to fill out the form (one per person).
Cannot wait.
I came last time by myself. Met a sweet lady in the elevator with a walking cast on her foot she and her friend had come very far and were praying for someone with a car to take them to the church. I ended up taking them and we even went to chick filet after it was over and I took them to Hobby airport. I hope I find them again. This year I am bringing my daughter who was at Wheaton College last time but is joining me in memorizing. I am working on Romans 8 because that was what my sweet husband wanted shared at his funeral. I cannot wait for this weekend!

I was going through the form and was a little unclear about the SSSMT spiral. Are supposed to have a special notebook for this in which we keep our verses? I’ve seen it in the video blog posts, but I didn’t know all the participants needed one.
Rebekah,
One of the original pieces of information included an option to buy a specific spiral notebook. I believe the main thing is just to have your verses written out and bring it with you.
If this is not correct and I have missed spoken, please forgive me.

My name is Tammy and I’m from Humboldt Tennessee. I absolutely cannot wait for the celebration. I have never been before. I am looking forward to meeting each one participating in the challenge. I have gained strength and scripture knowledge by the verses we each have chosen.
This is the first time in more than 15 years I have attempted scripture memorization. I am finding it challenging yet rewarding. I have chosen to memorize the third chapter of Colossians. Wow, what a word from God.
I will be flying in from Nashville or Memphis Tennessee. If there’s anyone who would like to rideshare to or from the Nashville or Memphis area or even all the way to the celebration location, I would like to talk. Please email: [email protected].
