Good Monday morning, Ladies!
It is a big week here at LPM! As if our kick-off tomorrow of the Siesta Summer Bible Study isn’t enough, we are also so very excited about this weekend’s Living Proof Live in Stockton, CA!ย ย Beth is hard at her studies, but we want to remind you about our new ticket giveaway initiative. We are still experimenting how best to do our giveaways, so we thank you for your patience during this transition.ย Our desire and ongoing emphasis this year is toward those who may not know Christ at all, or maybe have never been discipled in His Word.ย Young, old, friend, or family, we welcome them.ย If while inviting them to attend, you yourself also need a ticket, then we by all means want to help you go.
Personal invitations are huge! Do not be discouraged if the friend or family member you asked declines your invite. No discouragement! Keep looking for open doors and open hearts and keep pressing on in prayer. As Believer’s, pointing others to Jesus is our job, and our joy; to tell those who donโt know about Jesus, or simply get them somewhere they will undoubtedly hear about Him. We are praying and believing for salvations this year!
With five days until the event, we still have some tickets for Stockton we would love to give away. And we will do so until the last one is accounted for.ย If you aren’t near Stockton, keep in mind upcoming LPL’s near you: 2014 Scheduleย ย Just call and ask for Kimberly here at the ministry, and she will get you set up: 1-888-700-1999
If you need a refresher on our new emphasis this year, or for some reason you missed it, just click here.
We love yโall so much!
Thank you ๐
The encouragement to press on with sharing invites and the gospel of Jesus Christ was a word in due season for me this morning. May God richly bless your service unto Him.
I was in Spokane Wa. for LPL and I have been praying for Stockton….. That all who come will not only blessed but are changed by the power of the Holy Spirit!
Do you have a Siesta Scripture Memory Team for 2014 ?
Not this year, Mary Ann! But God-willing, we’ll be back at it in 2015.
This verse jumped off the page to me this morning…
2 Samuel 14:14
But God does not just sweep life away; instead, He devises ways to bring us back when we have been separated from Him. NLT
I’m thinking there is an “again” in there too! I guess I really needed to hear this today.
I will be there this weekend and am excited and ready to be in the Spirit’s presence. thank you — I’ll be praying for Beth!
I am curious as to the summer bible study that starts tomorrow
I am a new Christian who needs a powerful teaching.
I am writing from the Hershey, Pa area where I saw Beth Moore May 2-3. Just 4 days before the conference I mentioned to a coworker I was going to see Beth Moore. She said,โWho is that?โ I called LPM and asked for a ticket, invited my coworker, who went! God has blessed her journey thus far. He placed on my heart to go with her to a church near her home. Last week I was unable to attend with her, and she went on her own. God certainly used LPM the first weekend of May for my friend! Thank You Beth Moore and LPM for having the last minute tickets available. It truly touched a life and opened a heart.
I was talking with the Lord today and found found a reference to the Siesta Bible Study; I was amazed today is the day it begins. I want to do the study and I think by leaving a comment on this blog, I am automatically “signed up” to start. So, here it is… If I am wrong, will someone please let me know.
http://blog.lproof.org/2014/06/siesta-summer-bible-study-2014-launch-and-registration.html
You will need to go to the siesta summer bible study 2014 launch and registration link and register there I believe. There is a short informational video that Beth has posted and she tells you what material you will need. Below that, there is a place to comment and there is 5 things she ask you to list. Hope this helps.
Morristown, fl I have learned so much from Beth’s other studies so I am looking forward to growing in the Lord on this one too!!!

5. One of my quirks is that I will drive out of my way if I see a sign for a Sonic. What makes it a quirk is that all I will order is a cup of ice. I love ice! I rank restaurants on what kind of ice they have.

SOLO so far!
Haven’t done a Beth Moore in-depth bible study in awhile and love them. Also, I feel like I am starving spiritually and life is crazy right now with extended family drama! I know I need to stay in the Word even moreso and I love and need the discipline of a study.

-Small group; approximately 15.
-We have been hitting Romans on our own for the past six months. We’ve only just finished Chapter 6 but need a break from the intensity. So, COTD is perfect — we’ll get to stay with Paul and Beth has done the digging for us :).
-I think in themes. Does that make me nuts? Probably. Ha!

Group- doing with my mom (Debbie) and sister(Lisa) as of now…maybe more will join us??
I hosted a small group last summer at home and we went through the Esther study. I believe it had a great deal to do with saving my marriage, so when my sister saw and suggested this, I immediately said- ABSOLUTELY!!
Me quirky?…no way ๐ – I drink out of two straws, I don’t like using metal cutlery so I use bamboo, plastic or my hands, and I find work outs to be a great opportunity to memorize scripture so I write them on my hands and arms.
Praise God!
Hi! I am Michele from Smyrna. Going solo on this one. The Bible study group I meet with breaks for the summer and I know I need to stay in the Word. What better way than this study. I am excited!

one of my many handicraft projects while I watch tv.
(It drives my husband crazy to have me stay up with
the show and yet be so involved with another project
at the same time!)

I need a fresh movement of Jesus in my life. I’m praying for a fresh falling of the Spirit in my soul and a planting of the Lord for the display of HIS splendor.
I cannot eat my food all mixed together. Everything needs to be separate, unless its a special casserole.
I would love to win a ticket to go and see Beth Moore, and I would love to bless someone that hasn’t seen her or that hasn’t been to one of her conferences, thank you so very much have a blessed day and god bless you all

So excited!! Answers to questions 1-5:
1. Ginger Johnson
2. Boaz, Alabama
3. I am doing this solo!
4. My reason for doing this Bible study…I am coming through a difficult circumstance in my life. It has caused much sorrow and grief, but as God is faithful, He has deepened my thirst and desire for Himself. I can’t seem to get enough!! Even today, I saw His hand at work in my life, and it drives me to worship Him and to “know Him”!!! I could go on and on… I am also a pastor’s wife, and have a deep burden for my ladies at church. My prayer is that this unquenchable thirst for God’s Word will spill over to them!!!
5. My quirk…I can’t, absolutely canNOT change the color pen I write with in my Bible studies. If I start in black, the entire book must be written in black!! Not great with change, ladies!!!

I am excited to do this study at this time because I’ve been under stress and losing sight of where God has me, so this is great for me and a terrific opportunity to grow with some friends this summer.
one of my quirks… While I can follow directions to get anywhere I need to go, I am consistently wrong when it comes to having a “sense” of direction. I never know where I am or how I got there nor how to get back. ๐
What a blessing to bring a friend to the Beth Moore event and to be able to attend in person. Praying for those that need to be there.
Getting started a bit late, but excited none the less!!

4. Our bible study at church takes a break for the summer, so I know this will keep me accountable and in the Word!
5. I read a few of the other comments and I feel like I can share so many of their quirks, but my favorite I have read so far and that I DEFINITELY have, is making lists. I even make a list of my lists, and on a list I often write, start new list ๐
Blessings to everyone, can’t wait to see where God leads us over the summer!

4. I lead a women’s Bible Study during the school year; I want to stay in the Word and be fed during the summer months (not just on Sunday mornings at church). 5. I talk to myself outloud when I’m alone!
Looking forward to participating in this summertime study. For now solo but I have invited a few friends. This is an answer to prayer & a gift from God.
Here are the answers to your questions:
1)Solo for now
2)Garnet Valley, PA
3)Challenges with anxiety has placed me where I should be:totally dependent on God. Through the Lord teaching me to be obedient He led me to this study through a young Mom who asked me for some parenting tips. She ministered to me!
4)Quirks:I make sure to address every person who serves me in some way out in the wide, wide world by name by either reading their name tag or asking them to tell me their name. When making tea I am very particular: fresh hot water, high quality black tea, warmed cup, steeps for 4 minutes covered, served with milk.
