Awesome Recap! I have to say that when the young lady started singing her stanza, she brought wonderful tears to my eyes! I’ve always loved that song, but I love it even more with a little “uumph” behind it! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Looks like y’all had a fantastic time! God was surely lifted high!

I’m so glad I didn’t miss this video:):) “Victory in Jesus”, this version, makes me so happy. Like crying happy for some reason. It’s because I’m hormonal maybe. Or, it’s because it makes me so aware of my need for HIM. I love you all at LPM-very much.

    Kathy says:

Amen! Touched my heart to tears now with the music and the pictures of the Lord working in their midst! Love pics of the older lady and the babies. I could feel His Presence just watching the video! Can hardly wait to talk to a friend who flew over 3 provinces to be there. I am quite sure she was immensely blessed. Thank you for the videos.

    Anita says:

Words are not enough to describe the weekend we just had! We were in the middle of studying Beth Moore’s James Bible study, when we learned that our pastor’s daughter had a brain tumor. Her mother (our friend) was doing the Bible study with us, but was not able to make it to the last half because of the cancer treatments for her daughter. It shook our world. It puts a whole new perspective on “Consider it pure joy my brothers when you face trials of many kinds”! We did not know that Beth takes a picture with all the Siestas at her events, so it was a total surprise to us that we were able to meet her in person!!! We were able to share a snippit of our friend’s story with Beth, and she put on one of the bracelets we had to remember to pray for 10 year old Abi. You have no idea what that means to these small town girls and the mother of the child who got to see the picture of Beth wearing her daughter’s bracelet! Beth is as genuine and loving in real life as she is in her videos! What a priviledge to meet her face to face. My life is forever changed because of the James study!!! Beth, we were praying for you as you wrote that study, and we are so glad you did!

    Debbie says:

Miss Beth…I’m crying AGAIN! This week end was truly a gift from God to me. Thank you for being the sweet bearer of that gift and allowing Jesus to use you as he does. I will be forever changed and I will, by the grace of God at work in me, through the power of His might and work hold that ground, take back ground and WALK ON IN HIM.

I needed the challenge, the conviction, the wonderful encouragement and comfort from Him that you brought. (Right now I am prayerfully going through my notes, making applications and receiving from Him). You will never know just how much I needed this and how you ministered to me.

    Bless you, Beth

Thank you so much for coming to Calgary, the whole LPL team. From the amazing Miss Beth Moore, Travis Cottrell and team, even down to the people who came to help with the LPL materials. I was blessed beyond belief, challenged, convicted and am still feeling the rush of knowing I can keep walking- walking here as I am walking home!
The whole weekend was a blessing, and the girlfriends I traveled with did as much ministry to each other as they had received at the conference! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Linda D says:

I was only there Friday night (I had work commitments on Saturday), but I had a friend take excellent notes for me! I was blessed even though I had to miss part of it.
We were sitting to the right of the lady who was signing -Wow, what a gift she has! It wasn’t just signing she was doing, it was communicating from the depths of her heart with her hands. It was beautiful to watch.
Thank you for coming to Calgary, Beth and team…. come again soon, eh?

    Sandra Han says:

I have no words to describe the impact that Living Proof Ministries has had in my life, thru the Bible Studies, the Siesta community and the live events (one in NE last year n this year in Calgary).
We were missionaries for 3 years and worked with children at risk.We have been back in Alberta Canada for almost 2 years now. When my friend and I went to Lincoln last year we were blessed beyond measure by our Lord and your ministry. Then we talked to a lady from the LPM event to see if there was any chance to Invite Siesta Mama to Alberta CA. We were greatly surprise by a staff member that told us, Miss Beth was going to come to Calgary.Since then we have been counting the months and days and sometime hours I must say. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m part of the ladies comitee at our church and we decided to purchased 100 tickets hoping to fill them up, they sold out really fast. I have been praying since then, for the Holy Spirit to show up and touch us all. As we just experience this past weekend I couldn’t tell you how much the Lord message thru Beth was so well-timed for my own personal journey and the rest of the ladies that went from our church.Starting with our senior pastors wife, our women ministry leader all the way down to me. It challenged me from the moment we started reading 2 John. I knew it was an answer to prayer. I have been stir up by the Lord in the last month, about going back to a more of a full time ministry position, but wasn’t sure what that would be. As Miss Beth was sharing the WALKING message, I felt the Lord was encouraging me keep the pace of true abiding in Him, to not stand still, to not move backwards specially as I had felt that I had loose ground in my fear, bc of my experiences being a missionary. He encourage me to walk ahead for what He has plan for me and my ministry.somat the end when Miss Beth explain G: Go out into the world, walking in what u know I knew I had no more excuses but to WALK towards what He has plan for me, in this present time.I knew I had a meeting today with our seniors Pastor and he offered us as a family to be the children ministry coordinator for our church. It is an honor and another big step of faith, if it wasn’t for the encouragement that our siesta mama brought to us.I wouldn’t have the confirmation to say yes to that position that I will with my family will be stepping into, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, Miss Beth, her LPM family, lifeway, her family and everybodody that helps to make this happen.
    Hugs from the eclectic siesta,
    Sandra H.

    Kathy says:

What in the WORLD? I know Beth is going through something BIG and I just bet so are the rest of us or we would not be in the same “bundle” right now.

How in the world do we process this??? Beth’s amazing gift yet so human and no show- I am privileged beyond grace to have Beth, LPM and all of you touching my weary soul during my dark dark night- I can dance and sing when I witness such a remarkable ministry time in Canada- again, how do we even guess at what is going on in the Kingdom?- I am so weak in my humanity- the ONLY flicker of light is that of the Holy Spirit trying to keep the “lights on” in my life- God Bless and Thank You Dear Sister in Christ

I know it wasn’t an accident, but truly when we set out to drive from BC to Sask. I had no idea you would be in Calgary. Also no idea that I would actually attend. To be in the right place at the right time and then to be so very blessed to hear the word and song was more than I expected. I too thank all responsible for the friday evening I attended. Now I have one question, I tried to find something in the email posted in the pamphlet I received but I am not sure what or how. I would like a CD of the evening or whole weekend because I want to review what I actually heard. Can someone help me?

Beth ~ you are such a gift from God and I always come away blessed!! WALKING will never be the same again for this gal!! Travis and team – WOW … thank you for leading us in worship! How blessed we were!.
I hope one day you will consider coming to Winnipeg – the “center” of Canada!!
    Love and blessings to you!

    Thank you

What a wonderful weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment which for me was mostly with tears streaming down my face. Meeting you Beth afterward was an unexpected highlight – thank you for taking the time to say a quick hello and share a hug even though I know things were running a bit late! I have to say that for the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday I was compelled to pray without ceasing for the request that we prayed for as a small group of Siestas. I don’t know what was going on at that time, but I could not have stopped praying if I had tried. Our Lord is sooo good. I will continue to pray as we are all “walking” – I can’t wait till the next time I can attend!

Thank-you, Beth, so much for coming to Canada. I had just lost my two-year-old son in April and I was doing some major pouting. There may have been 5600 other women in Calgary but God was talking just to me. I left there and fell on my face before God. I’m taking my ground back and there may even be joy again. Praise God.

What an amazing weekend we’ve all experienced!! God is so good and He had so many WORDS for us all this weekend! We are all so precious in His sight! I was blessed to bring with me a bus load of ladies from Saskatchewan… what a hoot they all are!! We’re so grateful to take part in this conference. God had gone on before us and prepared the way. Thursday, 5 of us leaders flew to Calgary for the YOU Lead conference..what amazing teaching and sessions we received there. God also blessed our socks off with an anointed unplanned meeting with sister Beth outside the restaurant Thursday night. What a precious moment of FACE to FACE! Thank you Heavenly Father. Yes, we’re walking home as we’re walking here! AMEN!

Oh Beth and all the team!!!
What a blessing you have been!
I saw a lady on a different blog say: ” I didn’t take a single picture – but I have a notebook stuffed with notes”
You make God’s Word speak, you make His Word the centre and He touches us!
A friend once said to me – after I asked her what Bible Studies they’ve been doing:” We’re Beth Moore Junkies”… but you know what, it’s because you give us MEAT straight out of His Word!
What is so great about what He does through you, is that there is something for someone who has not WALKED the walk with God long, and then there is mountain-climbing WALKING for us, who’s known Him a long time.
(Please continue to give us studies like Daniel – that is not “all about us”)
    Thank you, thank you!
I want to speak this blessing over you: The Lord is your hiding place, He will protect you from trouble and surround you with songs of deliverance. He will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. He will council you, and watch over you.
    Thank you
    Liezil

Thank you Beth for coming to Calgary! Beth, God has used your bible studies (esp. Believing God: pledge of faith) in my life as well as this blog community. Thank you for your obedience and faithfulness to our Lord! This past weekend was so good. I still need to fill a jar with dirt as a symbol of reclaimed ground. I am not sure if there was a Siesta gathering. I was looking for it but did not see anything posted. I feel so blessed to have been a part of this past weekend.

    hi Beth
Do you or your team go visit the children’s cancer hospital there in Houston. We have a dear friend Alyssa Divers with bone cancer that came back but even so she will lose her left leg on Friday June 15. If you are able to go and she should be there with her family-Lynn, Jeff and Lexie (and extended family) until July. She is the best friend of my daughter Shae and if you are able to go tell Chandra asked if you were able to visit. I’m not sure that Lynn knows you or your Bible studies so it would be an opportunity to encourage.

    Dear Sweet Beth and Team
It’s been a week since LPL in Calgary and I’ve been thinking about it all week and thanking God for being able to worship with 5600 other sisters (and a few brothers), and for the word Beth brought to me! Thank you so much to all who were willing to be used by God to make that happen. The whole weekend was an answer to prayer and a big hug from God. Being able to share some siesta moments at the end was another answer to one of my prayers. It was my first siesta gathering but I left feeling like God’s overwhelming love and presence was with us. I also have a family member who’s not walking with God right now and I have been led to pray more for her and to pray for that person in Beth’s life too. Also, Melinda if you’re reading this, know that God has brought your name to my mind numerous times this week and even though we’ve never met every time He does I just lift you before Him in prayer. Praying for Beth too that, “the peace of God which transcends all understanding would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus” Phil 4:7.
