Hey, Darling Things!
I am packing up an overseas suitcase to board a long flight to Sydney tomorrow evening and I just want you to know where your blog mama will be all this time. I’ll be in Australia for two weeks and that is substantially longer than I’m ordinarily away so I thought you might need a heads up. I have the privilege of serving alongside my beloved Priscilla Shirer at the Hillsong Colour Conference for two weekends in a row. (The conference repeats a second weekend for another group of women.) It feels so good to put my head together and plan messages and themes with Priscilla again. We got in that habit with the Deeper Still events and I’ve missed it! Not only does she inspire me. She also gets me tickled. We will also serve with a panel of other speakers that I’ve not had the privilege to meet yet. Priscilla has been several times so she’s a veteran and will teach me the ropes. I am looking so forward to Colour and to gazing upon all those gorgeous faces, alight with the Spirit of Christ. I can hardly believe the trip is finally upon us. Amanda is going with me and we ferociously wanted Melissa to go, too, but she was unable to swing a week of it and was afraid the one week she had would be almost wasted amid the long flights and jet lag. We will miss her like nobody’s business.
Here’s a picture of the brochure and also the Queen who is staring at me 24/7 because she’s caught onto the fact that I’m about to skip town. I would give anything to take her. We have never been apart this long. Don’t you think they’d be blessed by my darling little Dingo?
I still hope to check in with you here and there in a couple of brief posts over the next two weeks but the best way I can probably keep up with you is on Twitter. For those of you who haven’t joined us there yet, our Twitter address is @Siestaville and we have tons of fun on there at times like these when a blog post is harder to make happen. You’ll hear from our Lindsee a number of times in the next two weeks (watch for some fun giveaways!) and Gay’s final supplement will also appear on the blog while I’m gone. I know you’ll be rocked by that. Her contributions over these last couple of months have been priceless.
I will miss you so much but will try to keep up. I am serious when I say that I think of you every single day and you are always on my heart. Hold tight to Jesus and stay in the Word. Please pray us there and pray us home and pray safety and joy and lack of negative drama (I love positive drama) on our family members as we all scatter for two weeks. Curtis will head to Missouri with the children to see his family for Spring Break while we’re gone. He’s a brave man indeed! And please, please pray for the Lord Jesus Christ to fall with enormous power and fiery affection on us at the Colour conferences. We want Him so badly.
When I get back, we’ll start planning Siesta Summer Bible Study. Oh, yes, ma’am, we are having it. We have active blog days ahead! You are so loved here, ladies. So very loved here.
Keep walking the thing out. Jesus is worthy of it.
Godspeed Beth, Amanda and all at LPM going on the trip! I’m praying that our gracious Lord will surround y’all, Priscilla, the other speakers, conference workers, and attendees with his loving presence. I know how much he loves you, Beth, and am just astounded that it could be more than I do. I thank him often for your research into his word, your insight, and your teaching whch have meant so much to me, my understanding of, and my walk with Him. The people at Colour will be blessed by your heart and your words! Bon Voyage!
God bless your trip to Australia! I am sooooo pumped you will be in this country! Bring it, sister! ๐ I will be praying for you!
Beth, I am so excited to be going to Colour Conference in Sydney, A friend an I are flying over from New Zealand to attend. We run ladies bible study at our church and have used both yours and Priscillas studies in our group, they have been truly life changing for me and my walk with Jesus. Looking forward to hearing you both, will be praying for you all.
Hi Beth, Your Aussie friends are so excited to have you visit! Can’t wait to hear the message you bring to Colour Conference. My friends and I will be at the second weekend! Yay!!! Love Emma (with Ann, Lucinda, Melissa, Petrina, and Natalie)
Prayers going up for all of your requests. God bless you and keep you.
Father, we pray for Beth and Amanda as they go on this exciting trip. We pray that You would keep them and the whole team safe in all their travels. We pray that they would have an absolute blast and that You would supernaturally bless them with limited jet lag and great physically and spiritual energy throughout their journey. We pray You would be thoroughly glorified in all that is done and said throughout the whole conference. Please prepare the hearts and minds of all that will participate to receive what You have for them. We pray that You would put up a hedge of protection around them and thwart every single plan of the enemy. We ask, Lord, that You would do mighty things in and through them and that they would come away from this trip astounded at what You have accomplished. Please show up with enormous power and fiery affection for all. We pray, Father, that everything at home would be well and drama free so that they can be freed up to fully engage in this adventure. We ask, Lord, that Curtis and the children would also have safe travels and a wonderful time with his family. And Father, please help Star not miss her Mama too much and to heal thoroughly from her recent encounter with the snake. We look forward with anticipation to hear about the great things You will do Down Under. And I’ll close with one of my memory verses from last year that has meant so much: God is striding ahead of you. He is right there with you. He will not let you down. He will not leave you. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t worry.
In the beautiful Name of Jesus, Amen.
Praying for a wonderful trip and I know that they will LOVE hearing from you!
It’s Autumn down under so that should be interesting going from our beginnings of spring! =)

How fun! I so wish I could join you! I will be praying for you, Priscilla and the others. God bless!
I just have to ask……as I’ve not had the privelage of going through one of the Deeper Still studies as of yet, but heard about a certain coffee portion from a very dear friend of mine, will you still sit next to Priscilla if she is not drinking Starbucks or heaven forbid, coffee from a gas station? Have a great time!

I can’t wait to find out what the Bible study is for this summer. I am really hoping to get a group of ladies to do it in my neighborhood!
Prayers for safe travel! I’m sure it will be a wonderful time of ministry. If you get a chance to take the Coastal Walk (beginning at Bondi Beach) then please do it. The views are spectacular and magnificent! Oh my!
May Jesus be huge at Colour!
Blessings,

Praying for you as you share your love and devotion to God and His Son, Jesus across the world with others. I am so looking forward to Gay’s continued story, Lindsee’s post and the Siesta Summer Bible study, as well as I hope, Melissa’s Deuteronomy wrap up lessons…I love you Mama Beth.
Hi!
I know I am not alone when I say we wish you Godspeed and will pray for you, your family, the Message, the women at the conference. You will barely get home when you come to my home, Kansas cCty! We girls have our tickets and look so forward to the time with you. [As girls, we are 51-64 years old, but girls just the same.] We can claim that we are powerful warriors for God, so we know that in you, He has a most powerful woman who is obedient to His will. Gosh, we love you; we are loving the study of James; you have opened up scripture for us these 5 years of home study. God bless you in every way possible and keep you from harm. with love, Rozanne
Praying!

Woo Hoo for you and the ladies!! Sounds like a blast. We’ll be praying for a mighty experience for you and all in attendance.
Make sure you “dish” all about it when you get back! I can’t wait to hear what you think of Australia – I’ve never been! I know you will be a blessing to so many.
Have a wonderfully blessed trip! Prayers will be with you! And can’t wait for Siesta Summer Bible Study!!! Whoohoooo!!! God bless!
Hi Beth,
I am leading a group doing your Revelation study and we recently watched the DVD where you shared a saying that you had heard but couldn’t find out who had said it.
As I was looking through a book today, I came across a version of that saying and wanted to share with you the name of the author. You may have already figured it out, but I thought it quite a ‘God thing’ for me to find it right after seeing your DVD.
The words I found are: “When the plain sense of Scripture makes common sense, seek no other sense, but take every word at its primary, literal meaning, unless the facts of the immediate context clearly indicate otherwise.” Dr. David L. Cooper.
Thanks for being the kind of person that God uses to bring us His truth in a deeper, clearer way than we could do alone. You have taught me so much and the ladies in my study love to do Scripture with you. We are affectionately called ‘Beth Moore Junkies’ by the Women’s ministry at church!
Blessings
Godspeed to you both and may blessings fall upon your time in Australia. I am in awe of you all traveling such a great distance and delivering the word of the Lord. Praise Jesus for sure!
A summer study?!?!….Too awesome and can’t wait!
Be good
Kelli
So jealous! I lived in Australia for 6 months after college. You will have a blast!
Praying for an amazing, refreshing Spirit filled time there.
Hey Siesta Mama,
So so SOOO very thrilled to hear of your new adventures God is taking you on! Know we will be praying for you ( as we always do) but in a special way.
Thanks so much for all you do.
Wanted to share, I just ordered Bible Study member books for my three teenage girls. The older two chose ” Breaking Free” and the younger one ordered ” Stepping Up”
I get a kick out of how good God is! They are 15, 14, and 12.
They have watched several of your studies with me already, but this one, they will be doing on their own, as a group with their mama!!
SO all you Siestas out there, would you pray for us also? As the devil is trying to snatch their lil souls, and fight one in particular in a REAL way.
Thank you all.. I love and pray for you my Siesta Mama, and Sisters!!
Thanks Mama Beth! Praying you and Amanda there and back with safe travels and a new spirit for God.
Sisters in God,

oh praying for the colour sydney conference. i’ll be at the london conference and was tad bit sad to see that you’ll only be doing australia – but so looking forward to pricilla and sheila at the end april here in jolly old!
blessings.
Beth, we are so thrilled you are coming to Sydney. Our little bible study group has been practicing our Texan accent ever since we first met you (well, it felt like we did) through the Esther study a few years ago. Jesus has taught us so much and loved on us so tenderly through your studies. We praise Him for you and for how much we have grown in our knowledge and love for Him through our regular catch up on a Friday to do one of your studies. Our God is so good. Praise Him for bringing you to us so more might cherish Him and his living word. Looking forward to doing bible study with you on Friday sister.
I sure do miss the Deeper Still events. I attended one each year except couldn’t make it 2011. What a great team of Beth/Kay/Priscilla!!!!
Beth,
I pray that you have a safe and uneventful journey there and back. I also pray that God would knock your socks off with how He shows up in Australia!!!
I so loved hearing that Curtis is taking the kids to visit his parents. You could look at him as being brave at taking the kids on the trip by himself. You could also look at him as running as fast as he can to his Mama to help him with the kids!!! Grandma’s (and Grandpa’s too) come in handy when you are by yourself. Bless him for supporting Amanda in her ministry opportunities.
In His Amazing Grace,
Tanya
Oh, how we will miss you! But praying all the time, for your trip to be great in every way! God be glorified!
Dear Beth
I will pray for travelling mercies and for the husbands who are staying behind. I also pray that you will be as blessed at Colour as I know the ladies will be, as you and Priscilla minister to them.
Much love
Colleen
Will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers! May God richly bless this event and provide a mighty work!! You will be missed. Will anxiously await updates on Twitter! Hugs to all of you!
My thoughts and prayers will be with you all. May God richly bless this event and provide a mighty work! You will be missed, but will look forward to updates on Twitter. Hugs to all!
Yes they would be blessed by your darling little Dingo!
Will be praying for you all. May God show up and show out in a mighty way!! They are in for such a blessing from you and Priscilla!
praying for safe travels…so glad Amanda can go w/ you and I love to hear your affection for Melissa in your post. It is very evident that you truly serve the Lord first…to be gone that long and that far away would be so hard for anyone who loves family and friends as much as you do…cannot wait to hear about your trip when you get back!
Beth,
We were there last year. My daughter Kali was going to school at Hillsong and I went over to help her move back. You will LOVE Colour. Those young women are on fire for God and his presence. If you get any free time go to one of the wildlife parks and you actually get to feed kangaroos and pet koalas. You are going to have such a good time!!
Hey Beth – from way up here in the North, have a great time Down Under! Give Priscilla a Siestaville hug! Can’t wait to hear about it ~
Hey Mama Beth,
The Gateway Church women’s staff (Pink Impact) will be going to Sydney this week for the Colour Conference as well! They are so excited. Have fun, be blessed and safe travels, praying you through. ๐
Blessings,
Michelle
