Hey, Sweet Things! I’m a mighty long way from home in Fresno, California and looking so forward to getting into the Scriptures and into some passionate praise and worship with these West-side women. I love knowing that Priscilla is in Florida this weekend serving at her first simulcast and we are on the opposite side of the continent with our Living Proof Live. You wouldn’t waste a prayer on either one of us.
This will be a record setting post – my shortest ever! Wish so much I could tarry here and visit with you but, Sister Girl, my hands are FULL. Oh, how I pray you are sticking with your Scripture memory. Don’t give up! God will bring a harvest if we persevere and see it all the way through. I love my selection this go round. If you don’t know what you want to memorize for Verse 7, you are welcome to share mine. Here goes!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Beth, I know you are incredibly busy, but I have a question, and if you can’t answer, maybe Melissa or Amanda or a staff member??? I want to tell you how much appreciate how honest you have been about having issues in your marriage at times. I’ve been married for 14 years. Both my husband and I follow Christ (have since we’ve been married). However, over the couple of years he and I both have grown closer to the LORD now MORE than EVER. Problem is, we fight more than ever now as well??? Just doesn’t make since. . .for 2 people growing closer to the LORD yet further away from one another. I’ve prayed over this a lot. The only thing I feel the Holy Spirit saying to me is that we have both been one another’s idol for a long time and the LORD is cleaning out our hearts. I just wanted to know what your thoughts are. Sorry, if this sounds like a “Dear Abbey” post. You can either email me or just post a comment if you feel led to do so. Or, if anyone out there in Siestaville has had some of the same experience, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
