Oh, I hate to put this post up so close to Curtis’s concerning the upcoming Passion Event but this one is super time-sensitive. If you haven’t read his post, please go back and take a look then get word to every college-age person you know. And let’s help as many of them as possible to afford the trip! We are huge fans of what God is doing through Passion and our entire family is involved. Even Keith gets totally into this one.
Now, for the quickest post in Siesta Mama history: ANYBODY WANT TO GO TO DEEPER STILL THIS WEEKEND BUT CAN’T AFFORD IT??? We’re looking for the first 15 of you to call Living Proof Ministries at 1-888-700-1999 during work hours today or tomorrow. Talk to either Kimberly or Susan.

Not going, but definitely praying. Love y’all!! May God’s Glory fill the place!! And may lives be changed forever for His Kingdom. Cannot wait to “unpack” in Heaven all that God is accomplishing through these events. I know there is so much more than we can see.

I am!!!!!!!!!! I have 4 friends coming in from Ohio, Texas, and NC who will join me!!! Longtime friends thru volleyball but Sisters in Christ for eternity!!!! Will also meet up with Siesta Lu from NC. We bought our tickets LAST February!!!! Can’t wait. Have already been praying Beth….praying for God to anoint each of you and for His Spirit to permeate the entire place.

Lord protect all the women who are traveling to the event and be with Beth , Priscilla, Kay and Travis and Team bless them Lord and watch over them and I pray that there will be an anointing on the event Lord.

I am!! I am so excited – I am bringing 20 ladies from our church/area with me. Most of these ladies have NEVER been to a conference like this, so I am so excited. We are SOOOOO EXCITED about what God has planned for all of us ladies this weekend. We are Grace Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN and we have about 35 women coming with us! Many ladies have never heard you (Beth) let alone Kay and Pricilla. As I type this I have goose bumps up and down my arms….the anticipation is KILLING me! The worship and messages are going to be wonderful, He’s already told me so. We are praying for the whole LPM team, Lifeway team and Travis’ team. See you tomorrow night Siestas!

See you there. I will be leaving the Chattanooga area tomorrow right after my uncle’s funeral. He entered the presence of our heavenly Father Tuesday morning.

I’m coming!!! And so excited for the opportunity! It is my first conference to come to in person. I have been to simulcasts before. But I’m so excited and I’m hoping for a fresh word from God this weekend. The Lord knows He has used you, Beth, to speak directly into my heart many times. AS A MATTER OF FACT… Once in the Inheritance series, you (Beth) used an illustration that was very literally the exact same thing I was dealing with at the very moment (the absolute most horrifying storm of my life up to that point). You finished the illustration by leaning out toward your audience and saying to someone in the actual audience “Isn’t that right LeAnne?!” To which I was literally brought to my knees right there … because 1) not only is my name LeAnne… 2) Also, I was literally sitting (watching you on DVD of course) in the exact direction you leaned toward to address ‘LeAnne’ 3)I had been crying out to God to help me with the exact same thing you had just addressed in the illustration. One of my fellow Bible study girls who knew my personal struggle looked at me and said “You know that was God that was just addressing you!?!” And yes, the very reason I was brought to my knees over it.
I can’t wait to hear the Word this weekend!

Was planning to come…but high school senior son asked to invited his friends over to watch the SEC Championship Game! So I’m trading time with y’all for time with them…because THEY will be off to college all too soon… Have a WONDERFUL time!
I live in Mississippi. My mom and sister live in Florida. I’m picking them up at the airport tomorrow afternoon and we are coming to the conference. We have always wanted to do this and we haven’t done anything just the 3 of us in over 10 years. I’m thrilled that this is what we decided to give each other for Christmas/bday. Can’t wait to see you, Kay, and Pricilla!!

Hey, My friend Cara and I will be there! We are driving in tomorrow morning from Conway AR…about a 6.5 hour drive! We are SOOOOO excited! It’s a much needed trip for us: to get away from the craziness of everyday life for a couple of days, some good godly girl-talk, and praying for a Revelation during the conference!

Woot woot!! I am coming from Clarksville, TN (Ft Campbell) with a group of girl friends and I can not wait! This is my 1st live event and I am beyond thrilled. I am poofing my hair big for you, Beth 🙂
Wow, Beth, what a blessing that would be to attend! I truly wish I had known about the event before today. It was 4 weeks ago when a friend mailed me your “Breaking Free” Bible study and I was introduced to you. You gave me hope at a time in my life when I did not think there was any hope! This Canadian would give her right arm to be there, what a blessing to hear you live! Each night for the past month, I have fallen asleep listening to “So long Insecurity” that you read each week. During the day when things get bad and I need a laugh or some encouragement, I stop and watch a video from Life Outreach Ministries. The video about you brushing the man’s hair can make me smile even when the oppression is great! Whatever I can get my hands on is what I will take! Your realness touches the very depth of my heart and the Lord has truly given you a voice to help those find hope when it doesn’t seem like there is any hope left! Thank you so much for sharing and being so real and so entirely used by the Lord.

I would LOVE to, but I’ll be picking up my man from the airport. He’s returning from a Senegal, Africa mission trip. He went to scout out the possibility of a dental/medical outreach there. He told me the other day via text, “Having a great brain storming session with another missionary here. May be committed to these people and this mission for the future. Grin. Darn that Bob.” You know Bob, he could ask you to walk over hot coals and you would gladly do it for him.
On a side note, please pray for our middle son, Tyler. (He has been interning at First Baptist Arnold under Bob Caldwell and mentored by Gerald Davidson. Ty loves & respects them both like crazy!) Anyway, Tyler is heading to India for the next six months. He’s going to stay with Pastor Nazier (sp?) in Chandigarh, work at the school there, and basically do whatever they ask him to. We are so excited for him. 🙂 What a privilege it is to serve our Lord!

I begged for prayers on Thanksgiving for my mom, Debbie King. Yesterday we learned that the cancer has spread too far and we’re not sure if treatment is even an option. This is a complete shock to us all. A month ago she had pneumonia and went for a chest X ray to see if it has cleared up and that is when they saw the enlarged lymph nodes and accidentally saw a part of one mass on a kidney. This has apparently been in her body for 20 years or more and we never knew it.
Oh I just need some prayers for comfort, healing, a miracle that will just stun the doctors and those who don’t believe around us. I pray for God to be B.I.G in this situation. My beloved brother who is not a believer because of biterness…Please pray for him. His name is John Allen.
