Living Paints Ministries

Our staff celebrated Bethie’s birthday at Painting with a Twist.

Evangeline, Mom, Sabrina and Susan.

KMac, Michelle, Mom, Sherry and Jenn.

Diane, Mom, Kimberly and Linda.

Just call her Baby Hawk.

This is the original canvas that we were painting from.

This was not painting by numbers, people!

Evangeline was contemplating all the art with our instructor.

Breakfast treats, coffee, and juice.

Jenn and Sabrina drying the first layer of paint.

Michelle and I are swaying to Friends are Friends Forever.

We’re renaming ourselves Living Paints Ministries.

We were that fabulous.

I think I noticed a certain glow about Beth. Didn’t y’all? I nearly dragged my daughter to the L’oreal counter today, but she assured me it wouldn’t work on my “dracula-esque” skin tone.
Great idea for a fun celebration day! Did I see Hawk in pearls? Well done. You looked lovely. Apron and all. Or was that a bib?

I DID THE SAME THING FOR MY MOTHER ON MOTHER’S DAY AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! YOUR PAINTINGS WERE FABULOUS!!!

  11. 11

How FUN!!! I have never heard of anything like that…and now I want to do it! Errr, plus my company last weekend asked if my bare walls were intentional. hee hee *blush*

Sunflowers are also my favoritest thing in the whole wide world. Must quote from Calendar Girls “I don’t think there’s anything on this planet that more trumpets life than the sunflower…Not because it looks like the sun but because it follows the sun. During the course of the day, the head tracks the journey of the sun across the sky.”

May you follow the Son throughout the course of your life Sonflowers!

      Kate,

If you ever come to visit me, you’ll see I have white walls, that are not filled with stuff either.

I love Sunflowers, and for the first time, planted some in my garden, thanks to a friend.

      Love,
      Yolanda

I would be that company who asked about the bare walls.

My only regret in life is that I don’t have more wall space upon which to hang things πŸ™‚

      • Haaa haaa haaa Melana, I did not name names…you told on yourself. I wasn’t trying to out you; however, you did decorate one little wall in my entryway…and it is quite lovely, I think of you when I come home…you ROCK Moose Mama!

How fun!! I have a friend who is trying to talk me into starting one of those shops where people come to paint and socialize. (She also wants me to open a chicken salad-only restaurant -not because I can cook, but because she ate at one!)

    Sharon says:

Oh my… I can’t even draw a stick figure that looks normal like everyone else’s. I cannot imagine trying to draw and paint flowers. Yikes! It’d be a scary look!

Happy Birthday, Beth! So glad that you got to celebrate it in such a fun way with dear friends!

Was this supposed to be your birthday theme of the moment: “A voice said, β€œShout!” I asked, β€œWhat should I shout?” β€œShout that people are like the grass. Their beauty fades as quickly as the flowers in a field… The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever” (Isa 40:6,8)?

SURELY the point wasn’t about Beth’s beauty fading, for she only gets more beautiful each year! But I do totally LOVE the “the word of our God stands forever” part that tags along behind it!

    Soooo love you guys!

    BETH HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you had a good one. I have a quick share. I am almost done with SLI and love it so much I bought it for my sister in law and went searching for a Spanish version for my mother!Yes for my mother. I was so excited when I found a copy in Spanish! I bought it home to her only to realize she couldn’t have the full experience because she wouldn’t have the questions. Then I remembered my son told me about google translator. By golly!!! Beth I was able to copy your entire message for each week and google interpreted the entire message. I was doubly excited because now my mom can fully experience Beth Moore in Spanish! Now if I can only get my nineteen year old to read it and then my 16 year old…..hmmm need some ideas and prayers. Thanks Siestas.

OK, 1st – Happy Birthday; 2nd – Great idea; 3rd – Paintings are fabulous, however how is it that you all have such amazing talent. I would definitely have to do paint-by-number. But this does give me a great idea for a back-yard Bible club (Rock the Block).
