Rich sent me these pictures from New Orleans tonight. Melissa has been gently encouraging Mom to carry a camera for the benefit of the blog. When Rich saw Mom pull out her rinky dink camera at lunch to capture all the fun, he intervened. Thanks, Rich!
Here are my Uncle Tony, Mom, Aunt Cherie, and cousin Carleigh. Some of you prayed for my cousin Carleigh when she was born premature. She is obviously doing great now!
Upon arrival, they headed straight to Brennan’s for lunch.
And bananas foster for dessert, of course.
Wonder if Billie knows his picture would end up on this blog!
Looks like lots of fun!
Well sure, we have bananas foster for dessert every night! What lovely pictures. Don’t you wish Rich would just follow you around with a camera? He makes burning bananas look beautiful!
Woke up this morning and my first thoughts were to pray for NO and Beth.
I never get tired of seeing the sisters praising Jesus! Never!

Beautiful. Just beautiful! I know it was amazing. I fell in love with New Orleans at the Breaking Free taping. Wish I could’ve been there.
Amanda, thanks for taking care of us with pictures and updates. Girl, you ROCK!
Thanks for coming to New Orleans. My husband and I really enjoyed your message. The music was great. I will be jammin to it in the carpool line for weeks to come. I loved when you sat on the stage floor right in front of the drums and went to town. Go girl! God Bless you and your family! Next time you come to NOLA go to Galatoire’s! Thanks again,Liz
Amanda,
LPL in N.O. was simply amazing!!! Siesta Mama got in my business and I needed it!! Wish you could have been here with us but Annabeth and Jackson made the big screen and of course wowed the crowd. Carleigh was just darlin this morning and when she got to go up on stage she danced her heart out it was just precious. Thanks for the prayers and the pictures there are no words to express how truly amazed I am at just how good God is to see the things we have been praying over this event and to see the answers to those prayers in the crowed, I am wowed and humbled.
Have a great weekend!!
Oh thank you so much for sharing the pictures! Makes me feel like I’m there! Love the family pictures. Is Cherie Beth’s sister or is Tony her brother? Have been praying for the event last night and today.
God bless,
Marilyn
I’m home from New Orleans and enjoying sweet tea on my front porch on this beautiful spring day. I’m enjoying the Living Proof high. God is so good.
What beautiful pictures! I was in New Orleans last week for a fortieth birthday surprise. found out along the way that Beth would be there soon! Looks like an amazing time. Wish I was there!
As I walked down Bourbon street with my husband last week, I couldn’t help wondering how many of the young women hanging out of door frames your mother would try to win over to Jesus! It made me want to preach!
But I’m not quite as brave as all that.
Just a little note to say my little Bible study group finished up our Esther study yesterday morning, and last night had a makeshift Purim feast to celebrate. I posted some pictures on my blog: lamb kabobs, latkes, and the Haman’s ear cookies from the Bible study book!
what a blessing these past ten weeks have been. Just wanted to say thank you.
:)Laura
Oh gosh darn. You’re tempting me mightily to break the 10th commandment with this post. I want me some bananas foster AND some good corporate worship.
Hope everyone had a blast,
Warm in Alaska.
Loved having you in NOLA this weekend Beth! You are an encouragement to me!
Seeing all those women praising God gives me goosebumps! Can you imagine the joy when we all get to Heaven!!
Come quickly Lord Jesus!
Hey Melissa,
I also remember that your Uncle Tony always said,
“Hey Toots!”
Ask him if he remembers the Schneiders? There are 11 of us children!!!
Please tell Tony hello. I told my sister to get on here because there is a beautiful picture of Tony and his family posted.
PRAISE GOD FOR EVERYTHING!!!
I love HIM soooooooo much!!! ๐
Very nice looking family! Banana’s foster! Yum!
Always touches my heart to see such fervent praise being lifted to our Lord!
Was awakened at 5:00 this morning and felt the Lord saying pray over Beth. I am sure the Lord was all over her as she taught today.
Can’t wait to see more pics!
Much love!
What a treat to find a blog update! Thank you, Melissa, for encouraging your mom to take pictures. And thank you, Rich, for making “normal” shots look incredible. What a talent!
Praying that God’s spirit was all over that place. Can’t wait to hear all about the weekend!
Love you all!

Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures from New Orleans! It would have been a thrill to be hearing the Word with these ladies! (I used to live down there.)
Is there not someone in your family that is not drop-dead gorgeous or maybe someone who is just mildly handsome? ๐
Blessings
Sherry
Beth’s slightly blonder hair is fabulous!
Wow…the only thing that sums up this weekend…WOW! I get to be different…after all I’ve done and where I’ve been, I get to be different! My God is Good! He is so faithful. Thank you, Beth, for being willing to give of yourself. I was truly blessed this weekend. Thank You.

I was blessed to be at this event. Oh man, I can’t even explain how the spirit moved in me. I will always remember this weekend and remember when Beth read from the Houston Chronicle about a soldier that was wounded and reported saying “God are you with me? and God said I AM I AM”. I will always remember that… Thank you Beth, we love you here inn New Orleans!
Amanda, Is Tony or Cherie your Mom’s sibling? I vote for Cherie ๐
Thanks for sharing your family pics with us. Any new pics of Annabeth soon?
I was there!! It was my first LPL and definately will not be my last. I loved every minute of it.
Can’t wait for today’s pics. Beth, got to tell you this. On our way home to Mobile from the conference we stopped for lunch. And of course before getting back on the road, I made a pit stop in the ladies room … did not use my cell phone ๐ but did do some eavesdropping. And the talk was about the conference and how awesome it was, particularly for one siesta. It was her first conference ever! Another Siesta was saying her Sunday School Class is doing one of your Bible Study’s and with the DVD she said it is almost like you are there with them. The ‘ladies room’ consensus was that God has given us a treasured and blessed gift in you dear Beth!
It’s good to be home again tonight but the time together went much too quickly. I’ll be sharing those 7 points with my man and a slew of Siestas that did not make it this trip. And yes I agree with other comments here – Great hair! And you get more beautiful every time I see you. ‘See’ you Wednesday in Satsuma, Alabama for Esther week 8. Love you so much, Beth.
beautiful pictures!
Just wanted to say that I had an incredible weekend in the Lord. It was soo timely…gotta LOVE God’s timing when it comes to messages you just need to hear.
Beth, I thank you for being a willing servant for the Lord. I thank God for using you to get my attention every chance I get!
So, thanks!
In Him,
Jenn
Thank you Beth and everyone involved for a beautiful God-filled weekend! I have a supernatural love for you my dear friend, just as you said you have for all of your sisters there! It was so hard to leave you today without a hug and telling you thank you, precious sister in Christ!
Love,

God has really used you to get to me. I felt like you everything you covered was sent to me from God. I truly felt God’s presence tonight. You spoke of healing, and God told me “I will heal you”. This has changed my life. I have been wanting healing for a long time, and didn’t ever just give it to God. I did that tonight! You really put a bow on the package for me! Thank you!
Just now waking up from my nap. Arrived home physically exhausted, but with my soul full!! We were so full of the Holy Spirit after Friday nights session, the three of us talked and shared in the room until 3:30 am. Then were up at 5 so we could be back for todays session. Our precious Lord showed up like he always does in his full glory!! I am gonna be holy by giving him wholly of me!! Praise your wonderous ways Lord and the way you work through Beth and the praise team!! I GOT ME A WORD!!! AMEN!! Can anyone else say: “I GOT ME A WORD!!” Beth watching you jump around on the stage with your neice was absolutely precious!!! Girlfriend I loved your bare feet too…even your toes are precious!!!
One of your Mississippi sisters! I pray too you are safely home now and asleep!!!

Thank you so much everyone for your prayers for your sisters at NO’s LPL and thank you so much Beth for speaking the truth in love to us. I just wanted the siestas to know (your accountability is the closest I have right now and so far it’s helped me with the scripture memory) that this weekend God made very clear a specific calling on my life that I have been terrified to accept and actually complete. It will require complete vulnerability and exposure of my deepest shames and dearest dreams. But I’m not going to keep withholding my gifts from the body and I’m clinging to Phil. 1:6. Thank you dear Author and Perfecter of my faith for exposing yourself so tangibly to me this weekend!
Simply awesome! Thank you for Sharing! Blessings!!
So thrilled for the LPM Live Event in NO. Last year at this time the LORD sent us for the first trip ever to NO for prayer-walking and ministering to beleaguered saints and needy people there. What an eye opening experience was ours. Living in beautiful Southern California we are far removed from the chaos that still exists in NO. We wept over the people living in tent cities under the freeways, and the horrendous drug culture as we were on the streets in the notorious Orleans parish. Still bright spots of faith popped up, and God gave vision for the future, as so many cried out “Pray for our people to have a heart to work!”
My prayers are with you precious Beth and LPM as you reach out to so many spiritual needs in New Orleans. Great pic’s…we had lunch at Brennans too, while in NO, but not bananas foster! Can you believe my man ordered a hamburger there? It blew my mind! I had a fancy schmansy salad, beautiful with goat cheese, raspberries, spicy nuts, and yummy croissant rolls. I remember, we were dressed in jeans and husband had on a tropical shirt. I asked the Maitre ‘d, “Are you sure we are dressed appropriately for this lovely place?” He assured me we were, still I felt a little out of joint. Ah….memories….
Prayers are with all who have attended and been blessed too by our Siesta Scholarship Fund. To God be the glory!
Lovingly in Him,
Pam H.

thanks for sharing the photos!
love the pictures!!!! please come to birmingham or tuscaloosa soon! ๐ i know a girl – not well, but my husband and i were headed to a party last fall and i had prayed “Lord let me talk to some believers tonight — some who really love you.” well, not long into the party i started talking to this girl. she was raised in a traditional church – either Catholic or Episcapal (sp?) and she said she had just been to a Beth Moore Conference. She said at the beginning it was a little strange to see everyone raising their hands to the Lord in praise, but by the end she couldn’t keep herself from doing the same! I think this was in Nashville. Anyway, what an answer to prayer for me and how great is the praise and worship of Jesus!!!!!! have a great sunday!
love in Christ,

“The City That Care Forgot” just got visited with Living Hope. This so stirs me cause it’s where I was born and lived and wrestled with a horrific life as a kid. It’s who I am today because of it. Just love love love the idea that there were so many from New Orleans (noo awlins) in that picture being able to touch the hem. May Truth sink deep in their hearts. Psalm 51:6
What beautiful photos of beautiful worship… especially the last one.

New Orleans was a total BLAST!!! I have always loved the soul shaking feeling of God’s presence and the goose bumps I have at these events. There is nothing like rocking with the praise team with 6,000 women, hands raised, loving the Lord. I could not believe Beth quoted three of my seven memory verses. I had just chosen James 5:16 last Wednesday. I knew then that God had something in store for me. I left the Arena feeling refreshed and renewed. Me and my girlfriends are looking forward to the Memphis Event. Thanks for a great weekend.
My dear Siestas, Could I ask for a favor? Could I ask for your prayers for my husband and I? I won’t going into long detail but we have been married for 12 years, very rocky. We’ve separated twice (good reasons! I assure you..) and I need help! Jason is so so angry at God, and me.. as far as I can tell he is not repentant for what happened. I have forgiven him and that has been huge for me. I pray that this week will culminate into something miraculous because on Easter I will become a member at my church and he “said” he will go on that one day. He has stopped going to church some time ago. Sorry for the long post, but it feels as if my prayers are bouncing off a wall.. Thank you. Karen My blog is really bare, too because I deleted numerous posts because my sadness was so strong in it..
Love the pictures! Thank you so much for sharing!
Oh Beth, I had the most wonderful time there. God so spoke to me through you. Saturday was the most emotional day for me – halfway through your message, I began to weep and couldn’t stop until the end. Seeing the women go forward just made me thankful and emotional. All that you said touched me and my girlfriends so much – we talked the whole ride home. It is all still so fresh – and this morning in my prayer time, I read over all my notes I took, and prayed about them. I so want to be changed by God.
I want to be WHOLLY His so He can make me HOLY.
Thank you – I just simply love you!
What a blessing to be there this past weekend. Several “words” just for me are still working through the nooks and crannies of my heart. Thank you for loving women and pointing us to God.
It looks awsome! I can’t wait till you are in my neck of the woods. It will be OKC in December. Thanks for all your encouragement. You all are such a blessing. Janelle
