While my kids are taking siestas, I wanted to give you some new pictures of Annabeth at six weeks old. I just figured out how to get them to sleep at the same time and I’m a new woman. Praise the Lord.
I took these first three earlier today since she was looking so cute in her first little Polo dress. It’s a little big on her still, but that’s okay because baby clothes only truly fit for a day. Daddy came home for lunch to watch a little March Madness and he was very taken with his littlest girl in her pink dress.
Sister was slightly more tolerant of Big Pink Bear this time.
She started smiling about a week ago. We get a few more each day.
These were after her Tuesday night Bible study debut.
This is what happens when daddies help fold the laundry. Little boy undies end up on someone’s pretty little head.
Yes, I did just post 10 pictures of my baby on this blog. Sorry. I have a sickness and it is called motherhood.
A few days ago Jackson was giving Annabeth some kisses on her head. I told him that right now her hair is short like his, but since she’s a girl, one day she’ll have long hair. He said, “Oh. Big! Big hair! High!” Apparently, he gets it.
She is beautiful!!!! Thank you for sharing her with us
Way too stinkin’ cute!!!
Love,
Kristen
So cute! My girls are teenagers. However, I will still take the long way through the department store to walk past all of the cute baby girl clothes. Once you’ve had a baby girl to dress, you never quite recover from it!
My word, she could not be any sweeter. And what a brother, too.–Clearly you’re raising him right, and his wife will appreciate his hair knowledge some day. Precious!
Blessings-
Amy
Hi Amanda…Thank you for posting such beautiful pictures of your daughter! Thank you for sharing her with us! I love the big bows!
She is so beautiful!
Blessings to you and your family!
What a sweet baby girl! We love the pics–keep them coming. Ok the underwear on the head is adorable, and just a taste of the the good natured embarassment she will recieve at the hands of her father and brother. What a blessing those two kids have with a mommy like you.
You have a beautiful daughter! Thank you for sharing those pictures. We will take ten pictures of your beautiful family anytime! I understand the motherhood issue! My phone and computer is loaded with pictures of my boys!

Why do men put underware on the head?
Daddys put it on their babies, Men put thier wives undies on their heads……what is up with that?
:0) Must be a guy thang.
But…. it did look like a little hat, some gals can wear anything and look good.
She’s a cutie. Thanks for the picks.
Hey Beth, will you please show us some picutes of Star and Geli? We wanna see how they’ve grown.
Becky

An 11 year old girl was killed in a car accident on Wednesday as well.
Pray for our children and hold them tight!
Thanks for the pics. Can never get enough baby pics, as far as I’m concerned. Her eyes especially are gorgeous, but all of her is TOO CUTE! 🙂
LOL!! Sounds like Jackson’s Bibby has been talking about Big Hair! around him! That cracked me up!! 😀
And loved every single one of those 10 pics, AJ! Glad to see the big pink bear isn’t scaring her to death anymore. 😉 Loved her grins and LOVED big brother’s undies as her hat…too cute!

Such a little doll! Sometimes I think she looks just like her daddy then in another pic she looks JUST like you…oh, well, I guess that’s the way it is supposed to be.
Big and High – love it! Your mom said at the minister’s wives weekend (wish you could have been there) how she has a special hair ministry for Melissa’s hair. I would love to see a blog post about that hair ministry. She said the key is in the product – which one? We siestas need to know! We like it big and high!!!
Amannnnnndaaaa, you put 20 pictures next time and we will be thrilled!!! Love the hair story!

How precious! Thank you for sharing your blessings with the rest of us. And just a note of warning – when little boys get to the age of 6 or so they do, in fact, like to put their underwear on their own head and run around the house. Not that I would know anything about that.
Peace,

She’s just beautiful, Amanda!! LOVE what Jackson said about her hair, too. What a good southern boy he is.
How CUTE!!!!! It is only at this age that a pair of boys underpants on our head only enhances our degree of cuteness.
Enjoy the smiles and I can’t wait for you to experience her first big belly laugh.
Thanks for sharing your mom with us.
Definitely keep it up with the pictures – we enjoy your “sickness” :-). My absolute favorites are picture #9 and Jackson’s big hair comment. Oh my word!
Can I just tell you I love the BIG BOWS! My girls are now 23 & 20 and they wore the BIG BOWS! We laugh so hard now about how their sweet little heads were always leaning… they are prayin now that they will someday have girls so they can wear them, too! Thank you for the blessings of sharing HIS blessings together!
I glanced at the first picture before reading anything and thought I was looking at a baby doll. She is absolutely precious. Thank you for sharing.
so precious!! and, i love that jackson gets it:)
Your children are beautiful and kids say the funniest things. I loved Motherhood at that age too it’s when they become 15, 12, 11, 7 that it can be taxing on your nerves.
Amanda, Re: posting 10 pics of your baby girl – I have an even worse sickness. It’s called grandmotherhood! I just sat here doing the “Aaah! Ooooh!” over the sweet little thing. What a doll! Thanks for sharing.
agly BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I wish i lived in texas so i could help nanny, i love kids!
Oh how pretty she is!
Oh she is just beautiful!!! Love those first smiles….melts a mommy like nothin’ else!!!
I think she looks like your dad, Amanda. Do you think??
Sweetest little pictures 🙂
Beautiful!
Ok, my family and I are just back from spring break and I’ve got to tell you, I’ve never seen any sweeter pictures! Oh, so adorable and my, how Annabeth has grown. My precious daughter who is now sweet 16 used to wear (or may I say that I put in her hair to wear) those beautiful big bows. So precious … I can tell you are cherishing every “bow” and “pink” moment. Just realize, there may be a “purple” stage where everything she likes is purple. Sweet stuff it is!! Love form Atlanta!
Love all of it. The underwear make a lovely addition! Thank you for sharing her with all of the Siestas.
Love and blessings,
Nancy
Hi Amanda:
I’ve been reading the lproof blog for about 6 months now and have really enjoyed getting to know you, your sister and your mom through your posts. I gave birth to a little girl in January and have two boys at home ages 3 1/2 and 22mo.s. I’ve been admiring the BIG and very pretty bows you’ve been dressing your little girl in…where did you find these? I’ve been all over and can’t find anything like them. With Easter approaching I’d love to have something similar for my daughter Morgan Anne.
Thank you.
Isn’t motherhood the most wonderful sickness!!!! Your baby girl is beyond precious. Thank you for sharing! I can speak for myself: I love seeing those pics – all 10 of them!
Keep on posting those pictures! We like it a LOT!
PRECIOUS!!!!!
How sweet is that! I have a beautiful daughter that God named Selah (7 mos.)…. I was so happy to see your little pink teddy bear. We have one too. It’s fun to take pics of them growing with those (the dogs too). Our little church in rural Utah, yes Utah, just finished the Daniel study last night. It was amazing. Thanks for the powerful finish….we love you Beth! Beautiful baby!
Keep posting the pics!!! I love them 🙂 Precious Thanks for sharing! Tammy in SD
