While my kids are taking siestas, I wanted to give you some new pictures of Annabeth at six weeks old. I just figured out how to get them to sleep at the same time and I’m a new woman. Praise the Lord.
I took these first three earlier today since she was looking so cute in her first little Polo dress. It’s a little big on her still, but that’s okay because baby clothes only truly fit for a day. Daddy came home for lunch to watch a little March Madness and he was very taken with his littlest girl in her pink dress.
Sister was slightly more tolerant of Big Pink Bear this time.
She started smiling about a week ago. We get a few more each day.
These were after her Tuesday night Bible study debut.
This is what happens when daddies help fold the laundry. Little boy undies end up on someone’s pretty little head.
Yes, I did just post 10 pictures of my baby on this blog. Sorry. I have a sickness and it is called motherhood.
A few days ago Jackson was giving Annabeth some kisses on her head. I told him that right now her hair is short like his, but since she’s a girl, one day she’ll have long hair. He said, “Oh. Big! Big hair! High!” Apparently, he gets it.
Big, high hair?!!?? Has he been listening to Grandma Beth, or what?!!?? LOL!!
Annabeth is just precious! I don’t have any grandchildren (and won’t) so I am adopting her and Jackson (don’t tell Grandma)
Oh I love the Big Hair, High thingy. He is his grandmother’s grandson isn’t He? A true Texan if ever there was one!!
Thanks for the pics. They are soooo cute!
Leah
She is just precious! You know…she looks so cute with Big brother’s underwear on her sweet little head! Can you imagine the trouble those two are going to get into!!!
Thanks for sharing.
Stephanie
Precious… just precious! Keep em coming! We LOVE it!
Absolutely beautiful, Amanda. She’s a doll!
Many blessings,
Anne in MO
That so funny! The closest thing to a bow a real man can achieve is underwear! My husband would be proud.
I cannot get over how pretty she is – I love the laundry pics, she looks like she is having a blast!
So sweet! Thanks for posting the pictures. My girls all wore those sweet Polo dresses, too. Love the big hair comment! I forget we have big Texas hair until someone, not from around here, makes mention of our hair!! Keep those sweet pictures coming.
Blessings,
Kim in Hideaway
She’s just beautiful! God Blesss!
Don’t ever apologize for posting new pictures! We eat them up like ice cream. Annabeth has the most beautiful eyes!! Thanks so much for sharing your little ones with us! Love, DQ Nana
She is too precious! And the story made me laugh… my boyfriend’s niece (who has just turned 3), recently announced that she’d like “little hair” like her baby sister (who, like many babies is kind of hair-challenged). Her mama took her for a haircut yesterday…! I had no idea “big” and “small” were the official pre-stylist vocab terms! Ha ha!
If you ever get over your “sickness”, THAT’S when we will call the doctor!
Such adorable pics.
And even though it’s undies, she looks gooood in green.

I just thought those were the cutest pictures. Loved the dress and just loved how Jackson understands hair…hehehehehe
hugs and love
It is his Moore DNA that allows him to get the hair thing and her Moore DNA that assure that she will have great hair. She is gorgeous, I love the hat!!!!!
Have a great weekend!!!!
Great Pictures! I could look at them all day!
I can’t have kids, but when my great-niece was born, I took 100 pictures in just under an hour the first day I met her in the hospital!
Congrats, the little one is absolutely adorable!
Great pictures. Thanks for sharing.
I understand the need to post pictures. Today I celebrate 40 years of motherhood, and it doesn’t get any better. See: http://www.mauriandsherry.com/2009/03/19/forty-years/
Annabeth is such a doll baby! I am glad you found the little soft headbands that you can clip bows to! I discovered those for my Annabelle and was going to get you one and mail it since I hadnt seen Annabeth wearing one yet! GOT to have the hairbows!!! ๐
She is so cute!!! It makes me want another one!!!
Oh, no. Poor Jackson. You’ve already corrupted him with the big hair thing! But oh, boy is that little girl cute! I wish I could hold her!
She beautiful. Enjoy this time with them. It goes really fast.
Cute as a button! Thanks for the pics! And I must say, I’m so impressed that that big bow actually stays on her head! I could never get them to stay on my daughters’.
And just for future reference… you should check out a couple kid’s books you will enjoy as much as Annabeth; “Pinkalicious” and “Fancy Nancy”. Some of my and my 3 daughters’ favs!
Adorable. I love the way she is looking at the person holding her in photo number 6! Obviously in love! And the bow is magnificent! Love you all,
Judy
I love the hat and all the pictures! I miss my girls at that age. My oldest is graduating from high school this June. Yikes! Time does go fast. I love that she started to Bible Study already. Just wave her little hand and say,”Praise Jesus” and we got us a bonafide Siesta Sweetie!
Love to all your dear family!

Amanda: Never quit posting pictures – I love them. She is very pretty – I love her already and she has an “inhairatance” that is great and she will learn how “big and high” the love of God is from her Bibby and her mommy and daddy.
As the mother of boys – I cracked up at the one with the underwear on her head – that brought back memories…boys will be boys.
Much love to you sweet young woman!

Thank you Amanda! I told myself I wasn’t going to check the blog tonight because I have a ten page paper to write for school due next week. But I have had a day of tremendous loss, and I could not resist the temptation of a little siesta comfort, and oh! how comforting to see pictures of your beautiful girl. It occurs to me how blessed your babies are, having a couple thousand “aunties” in the siesta community loving on them from afar. Thank you for giving us that privilege.
Deanna
Love those sweet smiles! Keep the pictures coming!
She is so adorable. Give her and her big brother a kiss for me! Enjoy a little time for yourself Mama when they are napping. You deserve it!
I absolutley love, love these pictures! Thank you for sharing sweet, precious Annabeth with us!
Please feel free to share your “sickness” with us any time your lil heart desires! Makes MY day!!!

What a joy – keep posting!!!! Those boy undies make a precious hat!
Ohhh, what a joy, your little PINKster!!! Amanda, I shared with your mom during the New England Nights that her newly bought ‘pinks’ (though black!) must be Holy Spirit-touched, as in Dutch the word for Pentecost is ‘Pinkster’! So – you couldn’t have chosen a more fitting color to deck babygirl out in! Mmmm…. Must be a family thing!….
Love, the ‘Paperclip’ New England Nights Prayer Coordinator,
Suzanne
(this comes with a squeezable hug!)
P.S. – Our MA/NH/ME Team is still very much connected together, and have continued praying for God to harvest the work begun here in October… and it is happening, we keep hearing reports of God at work from the seeds planted then…
She is getting a personality…it’s coming through in the photos! What fun!
She is a cutie!
Okay, those pics are so precious. Her little smile is so stinkin’ cute!!!
Amanda,
Loved all the pics! Like everyone else said,”Keep them coming!” Thank you for sharing your family with us!
Amanda, I’m due any day now (Lord please let it be soon!) with baby girl #2 and all I want to know is…WHERE did Annabeth get that ADORABLE headband!? I must know!
Just wait until Annabeth is about 2 or 3, and puts the underwear on her own head and pulls her ponytails through the leg-holes! It happened at our house!
Or there is the time my mom came to visit. She painted our daughter’s fingernails and powdered her face. Then she did the same thing to our son (age 3 then) because he requested it. My husband came unglued!! Grandma just laughed…
Thanks for sharing the wonderful pics!
I too love the days when mine take naps at the same time! I laughed out loud with the one with the undies on her lil head…looks like something my hubby would do!
I love what Jackson said about Big, High hair…I saw a saying the other day and immediately thought of you ladies!
“Big, High hair allows you to be closer to Jesus”… I want to be close to him everyday!
O Amanda, she’s so precious! I’ve been wondering if you were going to keep her in hiding for the first year. It was cute to hear that Jackson already knows what ‘big’ hair is, so funny! By the way, enjoy this being a new woman thing- they come sparatically, but those crazy days go by wasy to fast, so take them all in! Thanks for sharing your family with us. Carla Lee
Amanda, she’s beautiful. I love the last picture. Thanks for showing us how she’s growing.
Is it just me or does anyone else think this beautiful baby looks like her grandmother?
She is so, so precious and seeing her has brightened my dreary day. Post as many pictures as you feel led to– please!
Amanda,
She is beautiful. I love all the girly pictures.

She is growing and that underwear cracked me up. I think she is looking like Jackson. You have beautiful children. I have two brothers….. I’ll give her some advice when she gets older. ๐ Always wanted a sister but I would not trade my brothers for anything! ๐
