Sorry you guys! We had technical difficulty! Will post it tomorrow! In the mean time, don’t build up too much anticipation! It’s a rough one-shot cut but it’s with a ton of love. We’ll get it up here as soon as we can. I love you!

the 2 of you thaks so very much for this, this will help me so much, cant wait to start a little own this nice day of ours.I will use this God bless siester’s loveVictoria Reidsville, NC
ABSOLUTELY essential ! My fiance and I are finally getting married tomorrow (at our tender age…), and the VERY FIRST thing we want to undertake as husband and wife is start a small bible study, one for men, another for women, at our home.
We live in a “rough” neighborhood in South London — petty crimes, house burglaries, knife and DOG attacks are daily occurrences. More than half of my neighborhood’s population lives in subsidized dwellings with no hope (or desire) to find a job. There is a very deep sense of hopelessness that finds its expression in either open rebellion through crime or quiet devastation that seeks solace in alcohol and drugs. I can’t recount the number of times that my next door neighbor – a pretty but toothless, yellow-and-black haired 30-something woman who looks at least 20 years older – has received a visit from the police for drunken disturbances.
These are the people we want to reach out to with our Bible study -However, I am still so young in my faith and my walk with the Lord that I am absolutely TERRIFIED by the idea of it all…. All this to say that, without a doubt, this “minitutorial” you and Sabrina so lovingly put together is a fantastic tool, and one that I can use to create not only a fun atmosphere (excellent icebreaker!), but also a solid foundation to our study in the Word that could instil hope and joy into the lives of these women! thank you!!! (and sorry for having been sooo long-winded!)

I really appreciate you taking the time to make this post. Today was particularly interesting for me & I needed this boost of encouragement. God has definitely given me a few Scriptures that I NEED to memorize to help me draw nearer to him and be free indeed. This came at a perfect time for me to have accountability in an area that was all ready pre-pressed upon my heart. Thanks again for the time and effort put into the posts 🙂

I am very grateful for this help. Thank you so much.
B – Beautiful
E – Encouraging
T – Teacher
H – Helpful and Hilarious!!!
Thanks for this, Beth and Sabrina! It will be a huge help to me.
Bless you all!
Thank you so much. Boy I needed that convicting word about “wielding”. I can’t believe in a so-called “rough” video you can teach and be used so greatly to convict and reprove me. Thank God for you because He often speaks to me throught you!!

Mama Beth,
You are brilliant. I’ve never been given so many relevant, useful tools for Scripture memory in my life. This has always been so difficult for me but with God’s and your help, I’m all over this!
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men (love that), be strong. Let all you do be done in love.” ~ 1 Cor. 16:13-14
1 down, 23 to go! :))
And yes Amanda, Sabrina is AWESOME! LOVED working with her at the Fiesta!
Beth, I’m going through something a little scary right now – a health issue with my little one, and I tell you, I needed to hear this this morning. As soon as it started, I began to cry. I do already have my verses memorized – Psalm 91:1-2 – because I NEED them! Thank you and much love.
Thank you so much for posting this. I’m already putting the RENEW technique to good use.
Beth, I’m so glad God drew me to your ministry. My mom and I attended the simulcast you did and came away tremendously blessed. She and I have just started one of your studies, and God is encouraging me through the words He gave you.
Honestly, I’ve been floundering spiritually for some time. This Scripture memory exercise for this year is going to be awesome!
Thank you!
Thank you Beth and Sabrina!
Thanks so much Mama Beth and Sabrina!!! The tutorial really helped. The one “letter” that stood out so much was the “N” for need it. What a difference it has made in choosing a scripture not just because it would be a good one to memorize, but because I need it! The Lord in His infinite wisdom has given me a few times this past week to need it as well :o) He’s a good Dad that way!
Thank you so much Beth…what a tremendous blessing you are. My husband and I are actually doing this together and we are so excited to see what God is going to do in our lives!!!
Thank you!
This spoke right into my tendency to memorize Scriptures that (altough awesome in themselves) didn’t pertain to MY need.
You hit the proverbial nail on the head!!
Thank you for your insight into all this! I love being a part of this group. Such a blessing!
Beth! THANK YOU, THANK YOU for this incredible video —only YOU can break it down for us like no other! I’ve started to post my verses on my Facebook profile and it’s blessing so many others, as well. I have my note cards on my desk and I’m going to start doing my mental RENEW every day. THANK YOU for taking the time for this video….and for starting this program. God bless you!
Thank you Sabrina, Beth and the LPM staff for your unending desire to see the body of Christ grow through His word. Y’all inspire, teach and edify our souls to be steeped in our relationship with God. Your enduring commitment to see God’s people live in victory is such a gracious offering of sacrifice and love.
Thank you to Beth, Sabrina, and the Entire Living Proof Team for giving of your hearts and lives to minister to us ladies around the USA and the world. This tutorial was very helpful.
Have a blessed weekend, and thank you again for serving our God with such passion.
The Mini-tutorial was extremely helpful! Thanks for taking the time to post it.
I also wrote my prayer about the scripture I choose on the back of the index card so I will remember to pray the scripture over me everytime I look at it.
Thanks again!
Thank you to all involved in making this tutorial. It really is very helpful!
I also would like more discussion on “weilding” our sword. I am with Holly…that topic made me hungry for more!!
I am so encouraged by each of you!
woo hoo!!!! thank you!!!!

Beth:
Thank you and Sabrina and anyone else who took the time to do this for us. Even if it is in its rough cut it is awesome! And I love the blouse or jacket you have on…beautiful.
I put my acrostic word in my spiral so that I could have a readily on hand view of what I need to do!!! This hormonal brain needs all the little teasers it can get. And weilding my verse…well Proverbs 15:1… I have a personal daily experience with this at home with my teenager… so again thank you.
Loving you dearly and I pray Blessings and great grace for you and your team.
Lichelle
Beth, Amanda and Sabrina,
It is just so like all of you at LPM to go above and beyond to help us out. These tips are helping me so much. Y’all are just wonderful!
And I LOVED Missy’s comment about the “Southern Living Translation” – that is hilarious!
Hugs,
Adrienne
This tutorial was perfect! Beth, the tip about memorizing the scripture one NEEDS turned on a light in me to know exactly what scripture I will memorize next.
Thank you for the tutorial – great tips!
God is so wise – infinitely beyond my ability to understand His ways. The passage He gave me to memorize this first go-around is Romans 11:33-36. This morning I found out that my husband’s 4-year-old nephew passed away after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Caden was head over heels in love with Jesus and I KNOW that he is completely healed and completely free. But I struggle to understand why he fought so hard in vain. I am so glad that God is the same God in this moment that He has been every moment of time.
“Oh the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God. How unsearchable His judgments and His paths beyond tracing out. Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor? Who has ever given to God that God should repay him? FOR FROM HIM AND THROUGH HIM AND TO HIM ARE ALL THINGS! TO HIM BE THE GLORY FOREVER! Amen.
Thanks so much, Beth and Sabrina. This was very helpful and I’m already using these techniques, especially the “N” for need it. I dearly love praying the Scriptures over myself, my family, and many others. I am beside myself with anticipation and excitement over what God is going to do this year as over 3000 members of His body let His Word change their lives! I can hardly wait for the 15th!
Much love to all of you,
Patti Hayes – Lutz, FL
Thanks Beth. Your strong desire to see your siestas succeed in memorization is so evident. I’ll have to go back to take notes when my precious grandkids leave.

BEAUTIFUL! I plan to use “RENEW” with our youth as we are in the topic of this with out midweek lessons. Thanks!
In His Graces~Pamela
Hey, I tried the videos again this morning and they worked beautifully! Thank you God for Loving US and using Beth to encourage and teach us.
These are great! I woke up this morning saying “Read it. Examine it. Need it. Echo it. Wield it.”
Beth, thank you so much for working on this! Thank you to everyone else in your ministry for helping as well! This is a huge blessing, and I am so ready to RENEW!
Love to you!
~Liz
Your labors are so appreciated. Thanks for all you do. The tutorial was great. I especially felt my shoes get tight on the weilding part. It’s so important to remember that we battle against the forces of darkness and that we must not use the Word as a weapon against people.
The Lord bless and keep you.
Loved Holly’s words because they are so true:
“We would so have missed the preciousness of you, Beth, if this had been professionally done. We are your daily girls, you can get comfortable with us!”
Thank you again for the tutorial!
Mary
Thank you so much Beth!!! Your commitment to fighting the powers of Darkness in this unbelieving world is so refreshing and I am so thankful for helping me to see it and grab on to it with my whole heart. I am in this with you all and can’t thank you enough for the tutorial!!! I also can’t thank you enough for your sense of humor and keeping it real!
Kimberly
Because I travel to work during peak traffic times, I started keeping Scripture index cards in my car almost two years ago. I did this so that at every light, stand still traffic jam, etc., I could meditate on His Word instead of getting mad or frustrated with all the “other” drivers! 🙂 I’m here to tell you that it sure has helped me tremendously!!! I, too, speak it out loud and have often wondered what some of those strange looks were that I received from the drivers next to me. :)! Thanks for loving us Beth!
Blessings,
Ginger from Alabama
Ms. Beth and your awesome staff,
Thank you! This is perfect and I know it’s gonna help me with my verses this year. I’m going to put that acrostic in the front of my index cards and go for it! I’ve got my first one memorized and can’t wait to see how the Lord renews my mind, teaches me how to wield my sword and takes those strongholds down this year. 3,000 women wielding their swords…devil, you better run!
xoxo

Just when you need a good verse … I'm memorizing Is 33:6 and just was laid off from my job yesterday.
He is my source of Stability.
He ABUNDANTLY provides safety & GREAT wisdom.
He GIVES all this to those who fear Him!
Thank you Jesus.
I am going to be ok!!
Thank you for the scripture memory challenge too!!
Hi Beth
After watching the tutorial on Scripture memory, I want to sign up! I have NEVER been good at memorization but after your lesson I really want to try. I couldn’t find the entry to sign up on so can I use this one? I really NEED a Jesus year!!! I’m off to get index cards and find my first verse! Thank you for the inspiration!
D’Ann- Heath, Tx
Beth:
Great tutorial. I’m already on to my second verse! On a side note, every now and again I come across a quote that strikes me so profoundly and deeply, I have to write it down. I found one the other night. It’s one of yours from the Esther study. I’ve written it into my notecards.
“Discontent with selfishness and weary of ego, we finally become willing to lose ourselves to something greater. In doing so, we find Christ as we’ve never known Him, and, there, pooled in the reflection of his eyes, startle to discover that a part of ourselves resembles Him.” ( Beth Moore, “Esther: It’s tough being a woman”, page 123).
Rocked my world, friend, and received a hearty amen and a few tears of freedom alongside.
God’s peace and blessing on you this day~elaine
Great tutorial! Professional isn’t always best, I like everyday!!!
Thank you for pointing out Need It, I always tend to focus on versed that I think others around me can use instead of what “I” need to hear. I am really going to focus on that!
Thank you Beth you are a blessing to me!
Maggie
Thank you Beth and Sabrina and all the LPM staff. I do love an acrostic and am going to share it with my Sunday School class this weekend. We’re all signed up to memorize some scripture this year. I’m praying that 2009 will be a year of spiritual growth for me and my class. Love ya’ll and will be praying for ya’ll.
Thank you Beth, Sabrina and all the LPM staff for this video and everything you all do! I was pleased to know some techniques already, and more pleased to learn the new ones. As Holly said, “We are your daily girls, you can get comfortable with us!” Please always come to us anyway you can and we will accept it with love and thanksgiving!
Also, thank you to Angela in Tennessee, you saved me some work!
Love and Blessings, Debbie in Tennessee
Beth,
Thank you so much for this tutorial – it was just what I needed! This is a first time for me with scripture memory and I appreciate you breaking it down into these steps – easy enough and understandable enough for beginners like me! I think I can…I think I can…I think I can…
tjh
Beth & LPM Staff ~ thank you so much for your time preparing this tutorial. It was just what I needed to know I was going about my memorization the right way.
I enjoyed hearing about weilding the sword properly. I worry about this as I try to teach my children. While I've felt God's presence with me my entire life, I only began letting him lead my life just seven short years ago (and I'm still working hard at it!!) Since then I've had two children and haven't had much time to teach myself God's word and therefore can't confidently share scripture with my children yet. I would love someone to elaborate on how to teach the kids they should obey their parents joyfully the first time or give your sister that last piece of bologna because God says we should gladly give away everything we have WITHOUT them thinking "Hello, I don't like anything this God dude is putting out there!!"
Hope this makes sense. Thank you and God bless everyone of you!
Love the idea to put the tutorial notes in my scripture binder.
Thanks Angela,
Teresa
Beth,
Thank you so much for doing this. It is a blessing to me and I have written this in my journal for repeated use. You are the sweetest and I love you dearly.
Sabrina,
You truly are a warrior, when it comes to triumph of technical issues!!!
Much love to you all,
Celeste
Thank you.
What wonderful ideas.
I have my first verses memorized and am “wielding” them. 🙂
Any pointers on “keeping them memorized” as we continue to learn more.
Sometimes I feel like my “memory card” fills up. 🙂
An idea that is helping me:
I typed my verse on my cell phone memo pad and saved it. Even if I'm without my notecards, I can still see & practice my verse.
Thank you all for the work here. Great tips, but mostly I appreciate two eye-openers: Don't memorize a verse I think someone else needs and Don't use it as a weapon. Very interesting & challenging points, thanks!
