LONG STORY OF HOW IT ALL CAME TOGETHER BUT ESSENTIALLY THIS IS IT: AMANDA HAD CALLED VET CLINICS AND ONE CALLED BACK AT THE END OF THE DAY PUTTING PIECES TOGETHER OF A WOMAN WHO’D BROUGHT IN A LOST DOG THIS MORNING. THEN, MELISSA PUT UP SIGNS AND THE TEENAGE DAUGHTER OF THE WOMAN WHO’D TAKEN HER TO THE VET SAW THE SIGN AND CALLED, SAYING SHE MAY HAVE HER. KEITH, LIS AND I WAITED ON THE CURB AND UP THE GIRL DROVE, SUNNY’S HEAD OUT THE WINDOW GRINNING EAR TO EAR. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY BESIDE OURSELVES. HAPPY OUT OF OUR MINDS. BEANIE IS ECSTATIC! YOU ARE THE BEST PRAYER WARRIORS IN THE WORLD. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL AND LOVE YOU A JILLION.

The first thing I did this morning when I got to work was come to the LPM blog to see if there was an update about SUNNY and PRAISE JESUS our prayers have been answered. Isn’t it awesome to serve a God who cares about the BIG and the small things in our life and everything in between. Whether you are praying for a sick family member, a lost pet, or a new job, it is all important in God’s eyes!! Take that sweet baby home and give her some good luvin!! 🙂

The “blog world” is new to me. This week I was on your LPM sight as I regularly am to listen to your radio broadcasts, and noticed “LPM BLOG” for the first time. I clicked on it and found your blog. I checked your blog soon after the “Not a Sunny Day” post. When I read about your Sunny, my heart broke for you, as I have experienced that very same sadness over the very same circumstances. I began praying regularly for Sunny’s safe return. I was ecstatic and praising our Lord when I read that she’s home!! I am still praying for your time with your daughter during her visit. Your teaching is a blessing to me.

Praise God! I had to check really quick again this morning before I take my 17yr old daughter for a MRI for encephalitis (month 2+). I can’t tell you how many times we have called frineds to pray for pet crisis’ in our home through the years. I bet we could make up one whole show of Pet Miracles – if there was such a thing! God has always so faithful, even when we have lost a few to sickness or old age.
Somehow He has given most ;>)of us a special relationship with pets (all the while knowing they are ‘just’ animals!)that we can, with no reserve, pour our love into them. I am so happy for you!!!! My 8 yr old will be so excited to hear the news!

How wonderful! I’ve been wondering this week if there is such a thing as a GPS collar to put on dogs….if not, maybe that would be a great invention.
