Hi Siestas! Several people have suggested that we do Esther for our Siesta Summer Bible Study. I’ve added a poll to our sidebar to see how many of you have already taken it. Would you mind taking a second to give us your answer? The poll will expire in a few days.
Also, I’m excited to tell you that our LPM web site is getting a much needed makeover very soon. My hero, Curtis Jones, is working on that project. (Picture me looking very relieved.) And we have changes in the works for our blog, too. Yeah! Will you pray for us as we go through this process? I will speak for myself and say that I need God to make me much smarter than I am when it comes to all of this. Thanks, sisters! We want to serve you with excellence!
My group would be doing Esther this summer (already scheduled) YEAH! we could be part of the summer study without adding another……please do it!
We are in week 8 of our Esther study and last week we did wonder about the “G – P” comment. Thanks for clarifying. We have 25 ladies doing the study and it is awesome and such a blessing.
We finished Esther a couple of weeks ago and loved it so much! We had an “Esther” banquet and then went on to watch “One Night With the King” which is not even close to the REAL story!(the Veggie Tale version is actually closer). But it was fun comparing the movie with the Scripture. Our theme song for the study was “Something Beautiful.” We loved the study and we love Beth. See you in Albuquerque Beth!
TAKE IT TAKE IT TAKE IT!!
I am in week 8 of Esther..and OH What a blessing it has been!
So you all should..YES!!
I am a leader of 3 “Esther” studies started in January with 2 weeks to finish it. There are 40 total and we have absolutley loved and learned every second of it! Yeah God!
Whatever you decide to do. I don’t ever want to take my hiking boots off as there is so much to learn!
BELIEVING HIM and Growing in Christ with all of you, Kim
Our group is about half way thought this study and we are loving it!! Anything extra would be great!
we just finished it a couple of weeks ago. i, however, did miss a couple of the videos. i could definetly use seeing those. it is so refreshing to hear her speak. beth, please come to alabama soon! ๐
We just finished Esther at church–WOW, it is a HOMERUN!!!! I would do it again. Thanks, Beth.
I answered the poll on the sidebar and was sad that I didn’t get to say more–so here I go. Thank you Beth, for pouring over this book of the Bible. Thanks for bringing so many rich truths of the character of God to bare on my life, for bringing your gift of application to us–it was truly rich. I am still working thru all of the “reversals” just to make sure my heart gets it too. Very rich study!
I have just finished the Esther study and as always I was so blessed to be in God’s Word. I enjoy doing your studies more than once so it would be fun to do it as a group. I also truely enjoyed your leading in another’s teaching last summer. I have been so misled in the past that I fear getting misled on false teaching. Experiencing other teachers that I know are solid if your recommend them is another adventure I welcome.
i’m currently doing the esther study and every fibre of my being is blessed thru it.
thought i’d share – posting pix of the homework ponderings and gleanings over at my place.
love watching the change of photos on the desk. *:)
We are just finishing up Esther in our study group. Only one more week left. (Boo Hoo!) What a wonderful study! I’ve loved every bit of it! Thank you, Beth!!
Hey I know I am late but I am leading two community bible study’s with esther which we started the beginning of this month-on evening clas one day luncheon class. We are loving it!

We just finished Esther with a Bible study group at church… complete with a re-creation of the story, in a skit, during the “wrap party.” However, I am starting it again in two weeks with my small group. Yes, it’s SO good that I’m doing the same study twice.
BTW… the skit was hysterical! ๐

Our church just finished five classes of Esther and we all agreed this is one of the best Bible studies we have ever done. It might be because it’s about a woman or maybe because so many of us had experienced times in our lives where God seemed silent. Anyway, it is definitely a study that could be done again.
We have just finished Easter. What a blessing. It would be OK to do it again, but would like to do something new. How would you do the Vidio? They were sooooo great> Thank you, no one but you could glean so much from Easter.

It was offered last go around but I couldn’t take it. I’m interested in it.
Our ladies Bible study group just completed it and I bought it on Itunes and have listened to it several times. I will do the Bible study again. It is such a blessing to me!
I didn’t get to do the poll, but our group just did session 7 last night. I would gladly do it again this summer!
Thanks for your hard work!

We started Esther at our church last night. I’m really looking forward to it.
I just finished the Esther study it was wonderful.
I just finished the Esther study with a group of 5 young ladies from my church (age ranging from 20-29) at my house. It was such a great study and time of fellowship. We had breakfast together and then talked “Esther”gen. ๐
Finishing the last week in Esther. This study has touched in our main vein of our country right as we speak. This study has been earth shaking to me and the others that have been in the Esther Bible Study. We have cried and prayed through this study with one another. I’m sad that it’s ending but excited about how God has moved once again through the studies to move us out into the world to help other women find peace in Him and themselves.
IT’S TOUGH BEING A WOMAN!
God Bless you Beth and the staff for your dedication to the Lord. Our prayers are with each of you.
I’m dying to do Esther, but didn’t want to go it alone. My Bible study group is doing a Priscilla Shirer study for the spring, so I’d love to do Esther for the summer!!!!
I’d love to do Esther! Although my home computer has some kind of nasty worm and I don’t know if it can be fixed. Hopefully it can because we can’t afford to buy a new one right now. I’ve been checking my e-mail at work, but I really need my home computer. Please pray that either it can be fixed or we’ll be able to afford a new one somehow. Thanks!

Yes, I just finished Esther. It was great!

You do serve us with excellence! You are always a blessing to me!!!
Anyways, I am planning on hosting an Esther study here in my home during the summer and I have all the materials ready to go…our group would love to join in with the other Siestas if you choose this study!
I am soooo excited!!!
Oh man-I literally just wrapped this up 2 weeks ago-

We are studying this now. We have 40 women signed up. So many of them are encouraging me with how timely and special this course is to them. I think this would be a great idea. This course is really ministering to women of all ages.
Just wondering if you will announce your choice for the summer study soon. I would love to have my Bible study group doing the same thing that the Fiesta group is doing if it works out. Last year I found out about NOG too late so did it on my own, it was powerful.
I am in the midst of it, but because of some personal things I haven’t been able to watch the videos or do the homework…so I would love a second crack at it. ๐
We are currently doing Esther – just had our second session last night – so enjoying it!
I still would love to do it with the siesta's though – I would love to share & everyones perspectives
Whatever you decide, I can't wait to study with the siesta's again!

just finished week 6 of Esther study and I am absolutely LOVING it…recommending it to every woman i know who has not yet been through it! If it were done as the siesta summer study, i think i might just have to get a fresh workbook and go through it all over again!
Our Bible study will be starting Esther this summer… it will be my first time through but I know others will be doing it a second time. I think it would be great to do on the blog too!
God Bless!

Wow Godรขโฌโขs timing is great. I just bought the Ester book the last night of Inheritance and planned to do it with a group of friends it would be great to do it with siestas.
I will need strength this summer so this will be perfect!

I am in the middle of the Esther study now. Plus I did it live last year.
I was hoping for a new study.
We finally found a local church doing Beth Moore Bible Studies. This one offered Esther and we jumped up to be a part of it.
Sadly we are nearing the end of this study.
There are many women in our small study group who think this study is one of Miss Beth’s better studies. I happen to feel that the study was too “girly” and there was an awful lot of personal comments. At times it was a bit distracting. However, Esther is my mom’s favorite book and we both have learned much from the study
I would LOVE to study Esther over the summer with you! Have not donje it yet! Was wondering when/where/how I might find a group! I am very excited at the prospect of that! YES!!! YES!!!

Let’s go for it! Any one of Beth’s studies would be great!
It may be too late to give my input but have been on vaation and am behind on blog (although did post my scripture yesterday from Mexico). Esther IS the study I have planned for my summer and would love to do it with the siestas!!!!!
Looking forward to New Orleans conference tomorrow night.
Elaine, New Orleans, LA.
I would LOVE to do Esther this summer! That would be such a tremendous blessing ๐
Count me in!
Just finished it but was wanting to go thru it once more!
Dear Princess Beth,
We have two sessions left as I write this and it has helped each one of us in uniquely different ways, but ultimately to encourage us on following the destiny our Great God has ordained for us. Thank you so much for writing this study and obeying our
King!

I haven’t done the Esther study–but would LOVE to! I’ve started working full time this year, so my beloved Tuesday morning Bible study has been sorely missed. I’m working through “Stepping Up” on my own, but so miss the interaction with other “growers”. Last summer’s study was great. . . I’m looking forward to whatever you choose.
I would love to do the Esther study this summer! Count me in!
count us in
we will be willing
How great would it be to do Esther for the Summer Siesta Session, and how much of a HUGE blessing would it be, if the video were segments were posted on the blog so that the only cost would be the Study Guide. I know it would help me GREATLY and Im sure it would benefit many more..Just a thought!
I am leading a group of women through the Esther study,we would like to request a disclaimer/ warning for the activity in the margin on page 108 as some of our greatest fears have indeed become reality (just kidding about the disclaimer thing) but God has demonstrated his sufficiency in even in the midst of our worst nightmares realized. The fear I listed was losing a loved one….
Last week my 21 day old niece named Hope passed away and I can not tell you how much this study over the book of Esther has prepared my heart for this season of suffering. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this study and the way it has ministered to my heart!!
