OK, my beloveds! It’s time for verse 4! Since I’m whittling my way through the one-chapter Book of Philemon and the individual verses don’t stand alone as well, I’ve been giving you an alternative verse as an option for those looking for ideas. This one, however, is so good that it serves perfectly. By all means, share it if you like!
Beth Moore from Houston, Texas: “I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers,” Philemon 4 ESV

The first Living Proof conference I went to was in Memphis a few years ago not long after my husband had passed away. I went with some wonderful friends including Linda Foster. She was not able to go with us last year to Mobile for your conference as she was fighting cancer. I promised her I would give you a hug from her and actually did get to give you a hug and a hastily scrawled note explaining why I interupted your walk out of the auditorium. This morning she lost her fight with cancer and is with her Saviour. I am selfish and would rather have her here and healthy. I had been praying for her to be well enough to attend Baton Rouge conference with us this year but knew in my heart she probably would not. I thank God each and every day for my sisters in Christ and Linda was a wonderful example to us all. Thank you for your bible studies and conferences that we were able to share.
Thank you for sharing, Pam. We’re so sorry for your loss of your dear friend.
