OK, my beloveds! It’s time for verse 4! Since I’m whittling my way through the one-chapter Book of Philemon and the individual verses don’t stand alone as well, I’ve been giving you an alternative verse as an option for those looking for ideas. This one, however, is so good that it serves perfectly. By all means, share it if you like!

Mrs. Moore,
We’ve tweeted before some and I sent a tweet to you today but it’s difficult to really expound on things when you are allotted only a few characters. This scripture memorization challenge has been such a blessing to me.
When I first joined, I was so nervous. I’m terrible with memorizing scriptures. I know I need to and I’ve picked some up along the way but really being purposeful about learning scriptures and hiding the Word in my heart is something I haven’t done much in my life.
The roughly two weeks each time is enough time to really focus on my verse I picked. I meditate on it and it helps me get more God focused in my day. I will be going through something and God brings the scripture to me in some kind of way. I’ve started seeing my verses everywhere. From emails to something maybe printed on something. It’s like God is helping me to really get in my heart, mind, and soul that He cares for me and wants me to succeed in this.
It’s also a blessing reading the verses the other women have picked each week. I know each person picks them according to what they may have going on but I know they bless me and I read a new scripture I’ve never seen every time.
Thank you for allowing God to use you and your ministry to uplift Him and teach us more about Him.
Sincerely,
Candace
