LPL Biloxi Ticket Giveaway for You and a Guest – Updated: Tickets are now gone!

Hey ladies! My word how has it been a week since we’ve said hello here? I’ve sat down to write a post for you every day and then I get interrupted to never return. It’s just been one of those weeks! Please forgive us! Two important things that might be of interest to you are: 1) Beth is on her way to Biloxi as we speak. It’s been raining cats and dogs here today and we’ve had quite the summer thunderstorms, so would you join us in praying her there safely and quickly? 2) We have officially given all of our tickets away. Praise God! Girls, I hope you are prepared to get yourself a WORD this weekend because that is exactly what is coming your way. May the Spirit fall on each of you! We’re praying for you and can’t wait to hear all about it!

Happy Friday, ladies!

A week from today the Biloxi Living Proof Live will kick off! I’m curious to know how many of you are already planning on attending? Last I heard, this is the teams first event in Biloxi, so they’re excited. Fresh ground to plow and hopefully, some fresh faces to serve.

As you know by now, we’ve changed up our ticket giveaway, which is why I’m posting it on a Friday as opposed to a Monday or even the day before an event. Our hope is that the earlier the better! We realize we’re asking you to invite friends and family to the events whether or not you are able to attend yourself, which takes a little bit of planning, hence the Friday post, but still only a week out from the event!

To reiterate our new vision, our desire and ongoing emphasis this year is toward those who may not know Christ at all, or maybe have never been discipled in His Word.  Young, old, friend, or family, we welcome them.  If while inviting them to attend, you yourself also need a ticket, then we by all means want to help you go.

With that said, we have some Biloxi tickets that are just waiting to be claimed. And they will be here until the last one is accounted for.  If you aren’t near Biloxi, keep in mind upcoming LPL’s near you: 2014 Schedule. Just call and ask for Kimberly here at the ministry, and she will get you set up: 1-888-700-1999

We love you here at LPM.

Have a wonderful weekend!

I saw Beth in Hershey, so I won’t be attending in Biloxi, but I am bathing the team and the venue and the participants in prayer….because….drum roll please…both of my sisters will be there. My real blood sisters. One is a believer and the other is not (as far as we know). This is a huge thing for our family, so please join me in prayer if you feel led that she will feel the Holy Spirit tug at her heart and go forward.

SO very happy Beth and Living Proof put Biloxi on their list! So glad I am able to attend! I am also doing my first ever real Bible study with the Siesta Summer Bible study. I will be there in Biloxi for my 4th LPL! have been so excited for months to be coming with new friends who are also new to LPL. Lindsee, one dear new friend in particular, a new Siesta to the blog, has so wanted to come, but she has just found out she has cancer and won’t be able to be there. Please ask Beth and the team to cover her in prayer…I know the thought of thousands praying for her would help her spirits and we know with God, all things are possible. Her name is Betty Jean (BJ) Horn.

    Thank you all,

Beth, I am attending with my sweet daughter & daughter-in-law…all three of us have indivudual needs…am praying that God speaks through you in a very personal way to us. My daughter is in a marriage that is hurting right now, my daughter in law is standing by seminary student husband, they have gone thru multiple trials. Both of these ladies need much encouragement & me I’m just tired, ready for some spiritual refreshment. I am anticipating that our God is going to do something awesome & special for me personally & all the ladies that go. Pray for my daughter Kayla & dtr-in-law Brooke…great women, both with God size needs….& me too. thank you for being obedient to the point of your nausea prior to your speaking :-)…looking forward to this weekend

    Genevieve says:

Tonight was the first part of the series here in Biloxi. You have no idea how wonderful and important tonight was for me. I had been praying for weeks that God would speak to you on what to talk about and that it would be a word from him, through you, for me. I recently enrolled in seminary school (never did I think is go back to school) and I just wasn’t sure what my calling was. I knew it was to serves Jesus but where and how… You helped me figure it out. I had an awe struck God moment and just knew. At 26 after a harsh past had closed the door on ever wanting a relationship again. I had made my peace, I’m staying single and that’s it. Longing… Oh how you would teach on longing. Thank you for listening to God and passing his message along. I’m excited for tomorrow! Can’t wait to see how he uncaps the jar I had out away! Thank you for being such a light for HIM!

Will someone please help me with the question on page 103 of the study guide? It is regarding the number of people who saw the resurrected Lord.
I know i’m making it more difficult than it should be but I’m still having trouble!! The apostles were the same as the Twelve but there were more than the Twelve!? Help!

  37. 37
    Pam says:

Beth, thank you so much for this weekend. I am so torn, and have been for awhile. My longing is for women to know Gods Word and to serve Him, BUT, I don’t have a personality that attracts others, I am not charismatic, or tactful. Why do I have longings that are so contrary to my personality? I have cried out for God to change me, that I would be kind, gentle, loving and sweet, but I am not. It seems the best place for me is in the shadows, so I don’t offend. Please pray,. I have lost hope that my longings to be used will ever be fulfilled. May God richly bless you for your obedience.

    Dear Lindsee

I don’t know how to make contact other than through the blog. My request has nothing to do with LPL/LPM but is a personal one. I have been walking with the Lord for many years and am in His Word daily, since I was a little girl. As wonderful as this is, I have read the scriptures so many times that they are so familiar to me and sometimes too familiar for impact – if that makes sense? I would like to buy a new translation (I use NIV and NASB) but would like some guidance. Is there any way I can get a message to Melissa and Beth to ask their advice? There are so many translations available. I would like a translation as true to the original as possible because I want to know, as far as possible, what the writers were actually saying, what are they telling me, what is God saying to me. Love and blessings, Colleen.

    Rinday says:

    1.) Excuses-hindrance=authenticity

My favorite equations from Beth were…..

Heartbreak-hindrance=depth (WOW, this is an eye opening revelation to me because it takes the heartbreak caused by another out of the hands of the one hurting and into God’s hands and it changes the victim mentality into a healing mentality!

Childlessness-hindrance=mother of many (As a unmarried childless women who is just a few weeks shy of 35th birthday, sometimes I feel the sense of failure in that fact. But essentially I don’t have to wait for children or push my maternal nature down but rather just start loving those close to me as I would “real life” children…

It really hard for me to pick a favorite day!!! Days 3 and 4 both really resonated. On Day 3 in the section about “minding your own business” about how certain things can’t be erased from our mind and allow us to still love like we should…Boy, do know what this means!! I have learned many of things that I had no business knowing and it has altered my view of someone and brought so much personal pain to me. Which leads to a deep understanding of the grief and hopelessness closely discussed in Day 4. This is one of those weeks I wish I wasn’t doing this study “solo” as I would love to share my heart on these matters with other women…
