I heard the jingle bell intro but I can’t hear Beth…
Love you Beth and Lindsay! I just “had lunch” with y’all lovely ladies and it made my day. ๐
Whoops….Lindsee! My spell checker made me override it to get your name spelled correctly.
Good word, thank you! Y’all are so fun. ๐
Just watched the video this morning. My eyes bugged out and my ears perked up when you talked about seeing life through a filter of my past sin and foolishness. Seems like this season of family gatherings puts me in a tailspin, dreading the dysfunction that occurs during what should be the warmest, most fun time of the year. Then when everyone is together, we act like Jesus has never done a work in us at all. I may watch the end of the video several times in the coming days, just to remind myself that there is more to me than my past.
thanks Beth for sharing with us!
Blessings,
Ginger

Beth,
Thank you for speaking God to me today. I am new to this community but God has already used you as He so gently calls me back to Himself. I see Him in your eyes and I feel Him in your words. I have gone through a year of darkness and pain and rejection but God has been bringing me to the other side and I am beginning to see things with a little more clarity. I just wanted you to know that God has used you and will continue to use you in my life and I am so grateful. Thank you Jesus!
Thank you for your words and prayers of encouragement. I love and appreciate your passion for God’s Word and how you allow Him to use you.
Am I the only one with no sound???? ๐
Stehanie, it seems to be working for everyone else. What are you trying to watch it on?
I got it to work on my phone but not my computer, I was only able to hear the Jingle. Anyway PTL for iphones ๐
Siesta Mama thanks for the Word and so good to hear your voice and see your sweet self!
So good to hear your voice, Beth! Thanks for the updates and the devotional – God bless you and your beautiful family this glorious Christmas season! <3
God is about to take me into a new season of my life and when I accidentally [ha!] opened this video today GOD brought to mind something He had told me about 9 months ago or so. He kept saying the words [to me]: “WELL REMEMBER”…. [not remember well]- but – “WELL REMEMBER”…. He gave me many Scriptures at that time but one that stuck out so much in the NIV which says:
Isaiah 12:3
“With JOY you will draw water from the WELLs of salvation.”
After hearing your explanation today about RE-MEMBER from the 2 Peter passage, I thought about those words RE-MEMBER and how they even applied to this verse. God has done such a healing work over my life for the last 7 years and mostly through your ‘Believing God’ study. I’m looking back after almost 43 years of knowing Christ but along that path the devil tripped me up and I lived many of those years in selfishness and sin. Today I declare to you that I walk in uprightness before God each day and claim the VICTORY of healing that only HE can bring. I must always WELL RE-MEMBER!!! I see people every day who like you and me were affected by childhood abuse. I see their brokenness and it’s like looking in an old mirror. My JESUS has brought me sooooo far in the last 7 years in particular… thru the death [home-going] of my husband, to a Derecho storm in June from which my house is still recovering . But with each trial that comes, I praise Him for HE always uses it to prove His faithfulness to me and He always – always – makes it better than it was before, when it’s all said and done! The long W—A—I—T and perseverance that He requires in the process is hard but when we ‘WELL RE-MEMBER’, we know that every ounce of those years have [and are still being] FULLY REDEEMED. I finally know what it means to be WHOLE again [in Christ]!
Thank you always, for your ministry to us women out here! We love you too, Miss Beth! And together, we can and do, love our GOD more each day!
Choosing Great JOY,
Stephanie
Stephanie, you touched my heart this morning…thank you for your comment. Beth’s message spoke to me as well. I needed to RE-Member how far life in Christ has brought me in healing and wholeness.
Lord bless you Siesta ๐
Simply His,
Alta
oh gods timing is always so perfect..this is the first time that I have been on your blog Ms.Beth…I am at home recovering from surgery on my nose to remove skin cancer..feeling yucky,a little sad and fearful if my nose will ever look cute again…the enemy has had me in tears over choices that I have made long ago that I thought I had forgiven myself for and that Jesus has cleansed me of….your lesson today has renewed me in re-membering what I am and not what I was. Thank you for being you in all that you do for all of us…so humbled and blessed to be able to hear you..love and blessings..Jen
So uplifted! Thank you for the encouragement!
I got to watch this video during the kids’ naptime while eating a little baggie of almonds and dark chocolate chips. I am so pleased! Hooray for forgiveness, and for cleansing, and for folks like you who remind us of the good things.

Hey Melissa! Be looking for a blog post mid-December with all the details regarding the SSMT. Blessings!
What does “Loquacious” mean?! Ha!! Here I come, Merriam-Webster!
Love you all and thanks so much,
shelli
“wordy” … okay, that’s cute!!
Shelli, I’m laughing because I had to look it up, too. It’s new to me so I decided I’m going to start using it. Laughing.
Lindsee, we may need our Siesta Mama to pronounce it for us! It looks fairly easy to pronounce, but never assume! That’s when I get into trouble. Grin!
Ha! I had to look it up too! “Full of trivial conversation.” : )
Thanks so much for your sweet encouragement! So LOVE these video moments you share with us! Blessings!
Love these!
Feel like I just hung out with you, Beth and Lindsey.
Thanks for the perspective. Needed it!

Thanks for the word and your prayer! Needed it today! You guys are so fun and I love you so!
SO beautiful. Love your energy. *Smiling*I enjoyed the word on remembering.
Thank you God Almighty for this ministry.
May the anointing and wisdom of God continue to be with you all and merry Christmas !
With love,

I can not even believe how personal God is being with me right now. I’ve been struggling with my “place” in the church; like my physical church. Should I keep teaching women, move on to something different, go to youth dept., just take a season “off”….I’m floundering really. Wedneday night I sat in on the youth sermon and the pastor preached on 2 Peter 1. As my habit, I reviewed and studied the notes I took the next day in my quiet time. Now, again today- 2 Peter 1. WOW! What a word! Paraphrasing: The same thing in the same way will stop fruit from producing… Jesus, You just take my breath away!!
Re-member … Love it.
I can’t hear it. ๐ Not sure why. I was just listening to something else and all was fine. I’ll try again tomorrow.
Yesterday, I finished the Patriarchs with my small group at church. I also listened to Ester in the car this fall. What an amazing period of spiritual growth! So I just want to say thank you for allowing God to share His Word through you. Looking forward to SSMT 2013!!
To Beth and the entire ministry: May the Lord bless you and keep you and make his face to shine upon you!
oh my… I have ordered a couple of spirals for my last time scripture memory partner … but I wanted to tell you about the ultra cute one we made last time.. oh man more fun in store… so we may be altering ours.
I love ya’ll too ๐
I just love these short teachings..I just needed a visit and you visited us with a fresh word!!
Love getting a video from you Beth! You can be sure that as much as you think about us when you are away that we are thinking of you! So excited about the new Bible study whatever it is about!! Love the lesson from Peter about re-membering. Thank you for sharing your life with us and loving us!!
With love,
Martha in MS
This was my first Beth blog. I’m truly amazed that God can take the 90-mile-a-minute talking gal and use her to teach His Word in such an orderly and comprehensible way. I say this with all sincerity, seeing Him use you really gives me hope that He could use even me. I’m clinging to His strength being made perfect in weakness cause in comparison to His strength, weakness is the absolute best I’ve got.
This past year The Lord has shown me how POWERFUL The Sword of His Word is against the enemy! Absolutely can not wait for SSMT 2013! I so thank Him for you Beth and all that you & your team do in His name! Praying you all have a very blessed Christmas & amazing New Year!! ๐
Dear Beth,
Most of the time I just feel I am writing on here to noone in particular cuz I write on alot of ministry blogs of different gals in full time women’s ministry and I think to myself “does anyone ever read those things?” I dunno but ya know since blogging came into vogue I don’t really care, cuz some of us who are just a book writing in progress may only write on these blogs, nothing more, BUT!!!! Every time I am doing this I am witnessing about Jesus and maybe only to Him but He tells me not to worry about it! We are just to sow the seed He does the rest so if something I write ever really blesses someone, great, if not it blesses Him!!
Remember to remember if only to remember how far we have come!!!Not in dismay but in victory over battles won and battles still raging!
Love Ya!
Gona work on memorizing again this time and try to retain what I memorized!!! Would love, love, love to make Houston a year from now for the celebration of SSMT verses committed to memory!
Betty M
Beth, What a great day I have had and then to get home and see the post. Great ending too! I love Jesus so much because He imagined such a thing as the internet so that we could all be friends and feel like we get together every now and then. Well, I’m so tired that I can hardly keep my eyes open. Love you so very very much my sweet Beth.
It’s 3AM and I can’t sleep because of all the things I “remember” from this week – a hard one. Thank you for the Word that I should be “RE” “MEMBERING” those things and those loved ones that have made this week a messy one. Many blessings and much love!
Thank you for being you, I say it often yet I sincerely mean it. I So wish I could meet you sometime. Anyway, God Bless!
WooHoo! Great way to begin a Saturday morning- thank you for helping me to “re-member” with those thoughts! Bless you, Beth.
Beth…just live your video post and the fresh word that you always share with us!
PS – never knew that you were a lover of pens…me too! I collect all different kinds! ๐
Blessings,
Lynne
Oh I so needed this today! Thank y’all for everything you do! So excited about SSMT! Spitly Foken!
Thank you all for this up-lifting message. I am so thankful to God for Living Proof.
I watched this yesterday, but I keep thinking about dis-membered being the opposite of remember. That is exactly what it feels like in my head sometimes.
Especially due to certain triggers, I cannot remember anything. I get so confused and it feels like all the bits of information are flying around as if in a tornado. I try to grab pieces but cannot come up with a string that match to form a complete thought. It is like my mind is dismembered.
Just yesterday I was out doing errands and had not eaten b’fast but for the life of me I could not decide where to grab some lunch. So I thought I would stop at Wegman’s but didn’t I drive right past it within that next minute. Ugh. So disheartening.
But speaking- especially speaking God’s Word out loud helps clarify things. That is so important.
Beth and Lindsee,
Whooo-hooo! My first time posting here and long overdue!
Long overdue to say that I thank God for the teaching and ministry poured out thru you. You’re in my prayers each day. And I’m praying for and thanking God for you siestas as I read the comments every time I check in here.
What?? You have not tried a purple pen? Oooohhh you don’t know what you’re missing!!
Love all you guys! Have an awesome day!!!!!
Thank you for the mini Bible study from II Peter, Beth. I listened yesterday, but had to go back this morning to get in the Word and soak it up again…Remember, remind, Don’t forget….such good words for the season where I am currently. I don’t want to ever cease growing by doing things the same way…this seems to be a key to so much of my walk…thank you for giving us this good reminder of never forgetting the cleansing and forgiveness the Lord has done. blessings to you, Pam in San Diego
Beth, thank for spending time with us and for your encouraging word from God.
May each of us bow the knee in worship as we celebrate the birth of Christ, our Savior.
Merry Christmas!
Beth,
I just love you, love you…such a blessing to us all….and I’m not from the South.
“Man is not alone” a book I will be buying. Like all of you suggestions on new authors.
Just finishing up “James” WOW.
Melissa is now my girl…what a mind on her…Could not wait when turning the pages to get to her next reading.
blessings girl.
love you both….
I love the fine sharpies too; all the colors. I use them in my Bible all the time. For some reason I was only able to get the video up until minute 18 and then it stopped. Would love to hear the rest.
Any suggestions? I am listening on my i pad.
Thank you Beth! It also struck me as you spoke that as God wants us to “re-member” the pieces in our own lives in light of and including what Christ has done for us, His word also “re-members” the body of Christ, all of us together; pulling us together to be used for his glory.
Thank you for bringing us all together with this blog!
Blessings on you all!
Beth, I so LOVE when you surprise me with a devotional!
I always am delighted with the scripture you choose to share with us, and the insight you give us. Thank You! While you were praying for us, I was praying for you sweet child of God.
I am looking forward to doing the memory verses this year for the first time! I chickened out last year, but this year I am excited to be doing it. Memorizing is so difficult for me, but recently I have memorized 2 scriptures, so now I am started, and I don’t want to stop.
Thanks for encouraging us.
Beth I love how you are so real and so transparent. It just encourages me! Thank You!
Beth, I feel like you are a gift from God! I love your realness. As far as the Body of Christ goes, I feel like the “toe jam “between the little toe on the left foot….but your realness is sooo comforting and encouraging!! Don’t stop being real! <3
