Last Deeper Still – Ticket Giveaway!

Hey, Sweet Things!

I pray you are well and blessed in the Presence of Christ Jesus! Thank you so much for your hearts toward our family in the big transition I shared with you in the previous post. I could tell you got it and it touched me in a deep place. Thank you for so many prayers! We receive them with arms open wide and pray that they will not be without blatant effect. Well! Our final Deeper Still is this weekend in Louisville, Kentucky. Kay, Priscilla and I are looking so forward to what God has in store for all 8000+ of us and, at the same time, will be tenderhearted to see our times together on this particular platform draw to a close. I hope to still be able to minister with each of these mighty teachers of God’s Word on other occasions and in whatever ways that please Christ. I have deep respect for them both. Priscilla and I texted back and forth yesterday as we do virtually every week over one thing or another and I visited with Kay on the phone this morning. They are spectacular women and, if you’ve never had the privilege of meeting either of them personally, you would love who they are one-one-one and in daily life as much as you love who they are as teachers. Each of them told me what direction they are headed in their messages this weekend and they both sound fabulous! I can’t wait! I’ll have my Bible open and my pen ready.

Tammie Head will also be with us, kicking off Saturday morning with a devotional. We are so thrilled to have this new Bible study author on board at this final Deeper Still! She wrote the brand new series Duty or Delight? A number of you probably remember meeting her through a blog video we did together. Pray for all four of us, Travis, and each member of the praise team to be filled with the Spirit, completely submissive to God’s leadership, preferring one another over ourselves, and alive and energetic in His Word and worship. For crying out loud, pray that for all 8000+ of us! We want so much to please Christ and to avoid quenching the Spirit in any conceivable way.

SO, would some of you like to go but you just can’t afford the ticket? We so understand that! Money is tight for so many of us and it can be hard to fit anything else in the budget. That’s what the Siesta Scholarship Fund is all about! We are setting aside Deeper Still scholarships for this coming weekend for the first 20 of you who call Susan or Kimberly during regular business hours (CST) at Living Proof. The toll free number is 1-888-700-1999. If you call over lunch or you go straight into voice mail, just leave a message with your phone number and they will get back to you as fast as possible. A number of people call all at once so they need a little extra patience as they field through each one. We are THRILLED that we can partner with Christ and with one another to offer these scholarships to you. May God sovereignly hand them out just as He sees fit.

How many of the rest of you already have tickets and are planning to come? Let us hear from you! You might also tell me very briefly what’s going on in your life right now so I could get a little flavor of the group God is bringing together. I’ll see you guys on Friday at FREEDOM HALL in Louisville, Kentucky! (If you saw that unedited version of my video blog on the Deeper Still site, I told you it was at Southeast Christian! I’m so sorry! That’s where I’ve spoken every other time and my poor blond brain defaulted right back to it. I even remember the event team saying Freedom Hall several months ago! In fact, we’re going with that name as a theme for the weekend. Blonder Than She Pays To Be struck again. So sorry for the confusion!)

I love you guys and I’m committed to serving you as long as God will allow. May He be evident in your day today!

I have had these tickets for months and almost didn’t get to go because of last minute medical scheduling for my daughter. I will literally fly from Baltimore at 4 and then land at 5:30…getting my daughter settled and then heading to Freedom Hall. After the session ends Saturday I get to do a 4 hour drive home. Can you tell I need a word??? I am counting on God to show up and show out this weekend. I am getting ready to start the Believing God study with a few friends. HE IS MOVING!!!

Beth, I am so excited and honored to be able to attend my first Deeper Still event here in Louisville. God has been showing me (in the last two weeks) that I have an idol that He is jealous of in my life. I didn’t know it was an idol until I realized that if I submitted to Him in this area, it felt like it was going to kill me. My idol is food. To give Him control over this area of my life will not be easy. I have 3 beautiful little girls and an amazing husband and I want to be free in this area. One verse He showed me was, “Listen, listen to me and eat what is good and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.” Isaiah 55:2
He has also recently allowed me to find “Made to Crave” through a close friend and that has been such a blessing to me in this area. Thank you for asking us to share our life with you. ~Lynn

I have mixed emotions about this weekend. Originally, when I purchased the ticket I did so at the request of one of my Bible study buddies so we could go together. At the last minute, she tells me she is going with another lady from our study….hope to see you there??? Anyway, I will be coming alone, which I have done before. Usually, my family will come with me and take me to your event and then hang out until I am finished. We have always had a great time. This weekend it is not possible for them to come. I have my ticket and my hotel reservation. I NEED to be there. I cannot get enough of Jesus!!! I am the “host” of this women’s Bible study on Tuesday nights! It has been our refuge for three years now! As much as we love each other and enjoy studying God’s Word together, this situation does not always lend itself to making that “special” friend that you would love to spend a weekend like this with! So, I will be there – alone. God must really have something up His sleeve! He usually does! SO excited to be a part of it and the privilege to watch HIM work through each of you. Your studies have been LIFE to me, as I have learned to read and understand God’s Word. We must be soul sisters! I relate so well with every study you’ve done! God just meets us where we are!! HE IS AMAZING! See you Friday night!

    Fellow Siesta!

I can relate, Debra, and totally understand. I am also very involved in serving in the church and have led several Bible studies, etc. Those closer friendships just seem to be very difficult. I’m going to Deeper Still by myself, too, and know it will be a wonderful blessing. I’ll be praying for you and appreciate any prayers, too. Thankful that God always does meet us right where we are!

      Debra…
I’m going to go alone too. I’ve scored a ticket (THANK YOU LPM) and at the last minute will be screeching into Freedom Hall.
At first, when Kimberly called me….I felt so weird accepting the ticket (since I have no one to GO WITH). Then God reminded me….I’ll be there with about 8000 other friends.
Praying for you and your weekend!

Went to deeper still in Nashville alone in 2007 and could not have been more blessed. Jesus spoke to me through Beth in a way I probably would have missed/overlooked in a group or with a friend to be thinking about. It freed me to worship with no constraints, alone with my closest thousands of sisters ๐Ÿ™‚

I wil be there! I’m bringing a group of 8 young women from Hillvue Heights Church in Bowling Green, KY. Six of our group are just out of college and 2 of us are in our early 30s! Three of us are madly in love with Jesus and allowing Him to shape our love for our hubbies. The other five are madly in love with Jesus and waiting for Him to bring them a man after His own heart! We are so stinkin’ excited to go to Deeper Still…it’s the first “women’s” conference for each of us, but we are part of the Passion Conference generation. I was at the very first one and I can’t believe I’m old enough to say that ๐Ÿ™‚

Personally, my husband and I are about to leave the country as full-time foreign missionaries. I’ve left my job as a full-time professor (some of the gals I’m bringing are former college students of mine) and he’s leaving his job in the music industry to follow God’s call on our lives. We should be ready to leave in September!!!

Sorry for the long post…I told you we’re EXCITED!!!! Can’t wait!

Hi Everyone! I am super excited to be traveling to this final Deeper Still Event. I attended my first one in Birmingham with friends this past December, and when I heard that this was the final one, my sister and I immediately made plans to attend.
So…we are traveling from Athens, Georgia with my Mom, two of her friends and one of my best friends.
As far as what I am going through…I just came out of one of the toughest few months of my life. Losing a great-Aunt who was like another grandmother, unexpected pregnancy of a sister, marriage of said sister, and personal crisis of a dear friend. I really need a fresh word from the Lord. I am in a waiting period right now and am ready to move forward, but am just waiting on the Lord to tell me when. It’s hard to be content with where I am now when I feel like my heart already longs to be in this other place. Feeling called to full-time international missions. Working on being still before Him. Praying for God to show up this weekend for all of us. Love to Beth, Pricilla, and Kay and all the other Siestas!!

My prayers will be with all of you and with all the Siestas traveling to Louisville, ky. This warms my heart knowing that the 4 of you will drench these ladies in the Word. Y’all will strengthen and change lives. Freedom Hall will be the place of freedom for these ladies to be free to worship and give praise to our Farher. Thank you for all that you do to help these Siesta.

I will be attending by myself. I was unable to attend last December in Alabama. I promised myself I would attend the last one no matter if I had to go alone. Thank God, for allowing my finances to be such that I would be able to attend. I’m in an intense emotional battle. My family (unsaved husband and daughters)have launched a battle against me for control. They treat me worst than dirt. It is difficult to stand in this situation. I’m double-minded as to whether I should just walk away from them altogther. I need wisdom and a delivering word from God.

I am going to Deeper Still, this is my first time, and have 2 precious friends I am going with. The three of us have a small group, so this is a bonding for our small group. It is funny, how all 3 of us have just had lots go on, and we are looking forward to what the Lord will do, and refresh us on Friday and Saturday.
And also leaving Cincinnati early on Friday to maybe do a little shopping before hand. We have a list of Thrift stores to shop at.
May God Bless all 3 and the worship team.

Looking forward to this weekend – my 2nd Deeper Still. Came to see you the 1st time not knowing anything about Priscilla or Kay & was so surprised to be just as blessed by them! Priscilla is at a similar place in her life as I am as a mom with young children – I really identified with her – she is so fun! Kay is so knowledgeable – she just spoke you two under the table (even though she couldn’t remember her own age)! I was in the “overflow” and you all were so gracious to come visit us at the other location. Our ladies Tuesday morning Bible class at The Highland Church in Paintsville, Kentucky have since included some of Priscilla’s and Kay’s studies and been blessed by them. We’ve learned so much about the nature if God, His Word, and the power that ensues from all three of you ladies – we can’t wait to see you all again! God bless you – we’ll see ya’ll at Freedom Hall!

    Beth –
I will be there and I can’t wait! It’s only 15 minutes from my house! I feel like the Lord is telling me that He is definitely going to use this to speak to me in a big way. And I have the opportunity to volunteer at the Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child booth, which is a huge passion that I’ve had for many years.
Then on Sunday, the church that I grew up in is celebrating their 100th Anniversary. We’re having a special service, a lunch, and an afternoon program. It’s going to be a busy weekend for me, but I know that I will have a huge smile on my face on Monday morning because of it all! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll be praying for a safe trip for you and the rest of the team!

A special thanks to 3 beautiful women who are gifted in teaching the Word of God. I look forward to joining you this weekend in Louisville at the last Deeper Still Event. I was able to attend in Nashville 4 years ago after I had been diagnosed with cancer. Cancer helped me on my faith journey to get my priorities straight. I know God had a plan for me. I have been so blessed. He graciously taught me God first each day and absolute trust that He will handle all things. There is a peace like no other that God graciously gives us if we surrender all. And I do mean all. I was able to see that it is our purpose to connect people with the opportunity to have faith in Jesus Christ as we journey on in this world. We had a Beth Moore Bible Study at our church the winter before and decided we wanted to have her teach us in person. Little did we know that we had signed up for 3 gifted teachers. We were a small group of 4 that year and have attended a Beth Moore Conference each yr since. We decided this year to go back to a Deeper Still Event. I am so excited for our sisters who have not been before and also my husband is coming this year as our van driver. I have been carrying on about the Spirit filled moments for years and now he will get to participate and see what I mean when I say it is a God Moment. God has blessed me so, each day is truly a gift, and His abundant love and strength is my message to all until He calls me home. Thank you Beth for the time and effort you put into all of the events and studies. You have blessed us through your blessing of faith. Mecca

I am so fortunate to be able to attend the DS conference this weekend with 3 of my closest friends that include my sister and precious, pregnant daughter. I have wanted to attend a DS event from the beginning and timing never worked out. In January my sweet husband INSISTED that I go for this final event and being in KY made it perfect as I live in Lexington. It will be bittersweet as I lost my husband of 30+ years to cancer in April. I DESPERATELY need a Word this weekend.

Our heart’s desire is to love You, Lord
For You are our praise and our worship,

Lord, You are our hope and our Joy
    You are precious to us,
    in the early morning

You are there to lift us up,
You are our Encourager, our Peace and our Song of Deliverance
Lord, we know that you hear our prayers
We ask that your Word would saturate into the hearts of those who listen
We ask that you speak through those who share your Word
That Your presence will evident during this time,
that hearts will be touched and You will get all the Honor, Glory and Praise. Let Your spirit fill the room and hearts of these women. in Christ

I will be attending this weekend with my two daughters, one who lives in KY and one who lives in OH. I live in CO, and have been in KY for a week, taking care of my daughter who had her wisdom teeth pulled Tuesday! Please pray that she will feel up to coming and sitting through the conference. She, in faith, sacrificially bought four tickets for her and three friends. They are all coming, and we pray they will be blessed and ministered to. This group of women are working with their husbands to begin a church in their KY hometown.

    Thank you!

    Beth,
Your news is amazing! I am so happy for you and your family, what a blessing. Corny as this sounds I want to pass on a thought to you that perhaps others could benefit from: Everyday I try to add “items” to my “Joy List”. It can be something as simple as catching a breath of honeysuckle on my power walk or seeing a family enjoying lunch together. With times so tough I need to remind myself there is plenty to be joyful about. Pass it on Beth, please. God bless you and your good works. Susan

I am coming and so excited!I attended the Deeper Still in Nashville a few years ago and was so blessed by all three of you. My life has never been the same since starting the Beth Moore studies several years ago- thank you for allowing God to use you and for opening His Word to me in such a fresh, alive and real way. I cannot wait to hear what God has in store for me this weekend and looking forward to worshipping with abandon!

God is teaching me that I was made for more (doing the Made to Crave study) as well as I can be FREE from strongholds that I have dealt with all of my life. Victory can come and I am learning that.

Looking forward to meeting Tammie Head. Her study- Duty or Delight is on my to-do list. Am praying for all of us to be refreshed and renewed. Pour down your Holy Spirit on us all!

    Melanie D says:

I’ll be there with about 20 girls (of all ages) from church! DS Nashville 2007 changed me, exactly one year after losing my Ruby Anne at 24 wks, when you looked straight at me (nevermind that I was at the Curb center!) and told me to move past my devastation with God. I’m excited to hear Freedom proclaimed, as I’m in a season where I’m dealing with some “fear of man”, as Amanda blogged about recently. Can’t wait to see what God’s got in store!!!

  28. 78
    Kristina, KY says:

I am so happy to be able to attend a Deeper Still, just wish every Bible Study friend I have ever had could be there with me! When I moved to Kentucky two years ago, it was a very lonely time. One day I googled Beth Moore Bible study and my new town’s name. I prayed over the two phone numbers I found and God gave me courage and direction on whom to call. He led me to a wonderful group of women who were studying Esther and they welcomed me! (You may think, of course they welcomed you, they are a Bible study group. Well, I had lived in another state where my shrinking Bible study group wanted to join up with another group and they didn’t want us – they liked their group just as it was…I was fearful of being rejected.)
Now, I face another move and my family is awaiting God’s direction and a new job for my husband. We don’t know if He will be bringing us “home” or taking us further away from our friends and family. Everything about our future circumstances is in question – where will my kids go to high school, where will we live, what job will my husband find…it is in God’s hands. I have been relying on God and look forward to spending this weekend drawing even closer to Him. I want to be an encourager to my husband and children during this uncertainty we live with now.

Love you Mama Beth and look forward to “meeting” your friends Kay,Priscilla and Tammie! ๐Ÿ™‚

Beth, I sure wish my situation was better so I could hear you in person.
I worked at Precept Ministries for 10 years and I know just how wonderful Kay is; She just loves everyone and always ready to share the Lord with anyone she meets. I was with her once in a store and a sweet young man waited on us. Kay begain sharing with him… his eyes got really big and he said, “Wow, I don’t know who you are but you’re someone real important.” She laughed, hugged him and told him who Jesus was. I’ll never forget how much she loves with Christ love…
I’ll be praying for all three of you for sure… ๐Ÿ™‚

    Brenda says:

Greetings from Canada! I will be thinking and praying for you folks at Deeper Still this weekend. I attended my first Deeper Still this past spring via video. It was the Anointed Transformed Redeemed one and was a real blessing. Sometimes “just a brief word” really speaks to people. Priscilla’s “who’s your Daddy?” comment really struck a chord with many gals.

Last night I caught Beth on Life Today and Beth mentioned the Beatitude “Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted” and that really touched me. So familiar but I really needed to hear it again, having lost several family members in the last few years. Moments of mourning still pop up from time to time and it is good to have the reminder of that verse.

My cousin, whose husband was a Baptist preacher (and went to be with the Lord 6 years ago), relocated to another city and now attends First Baptist, where their son is the senior pastor, so she is the pastor’s mother. It was a transition for her (and her husband) and while it wasn’t a church plant, the move brought changes for all of them. It was a good move and the transition went well for all of them.

I am re-visiting “Believing God” and hope to finish the study in the next few weeks. Started the study a while back but got sidelined with a death in the family and now I am picking up (the study) where I left off. So wonderful to have resources like workbooks, studies and music on CDs, etc. You would not believe how many praise and worship sessions I have had in my kitchen.

Blessings on you all this weekend in Louisville!

So wanted to be there! I have been to three DS events. Remember meeting you and Priscilla before the DS event in Nashville. You surprised us early birds on Friday. Priscilla kept saying we just wanted to hug you, so I ran to her first thing. She is precious! Unfortunately Kaye had a broken leg and couldn’t be there. Met your Amanda at DS in Atlanta. And got to have a meet and greet with you at DS Greensboro. Met lots of siestas along the way also.

But the most important person I met was Jesus! He never failed to show up in all his glory at each event and know He will this time!

(i was a widow with my sweet three kiddos when he married us… )

I know HE has BIG things in store for us this weekend and words can not express how grateful I am for how you, Ms. Kay, Priscilla, Travis and all that the LPM & LifeWay families have contributed to my walk with HIM. Only Jesus. Only Jesus.

Hi Beth, There are a few of us coming with heavy hearts. One of the ladies who had planned to come has been given some devastating news. The cancer that she fought with and won a few years ago has returned this time to her lungs. She just received the news last week and will be undergoing tests. We all know that God is sovereign and He will be glorified through this. She is strong but it has taken a toll on her. At such short notice it has been hard to find someone to take her place and she wanted to give the ticket away as a ministry to someone. We would love to do this for someone who needs a ticket. We will be praying for your team as you continue to prepare. May God’s will be done!

My Mother purchased my ticket for my Birthday to this conference. I am a young mother of 3 children. Katelyn 6, Jackson 2, & Carter 15 months. I’m attending this conference with friends from my MOPS group. We are local to Louisville & will be spending the night at the Church as a retreat. I’ve been so excited about this conference. People think I’ve lost my mind or that I’m going to see the Pope himself LOL! I even got my hair done for this occassion! I’m a Minister’s wife and have to share my husband with a lot of people because he is bi-vocational. So, this is my weekend! I’m teaching your updated version of “Breaking Free” in my home this summer which started this morning with 8 other woman & 12 children playing downstairs we are already fired up about the study, now I get to add to that with coming to the conference. I need to learn to break free of being selfish with my husbands time and I’m looking forward to God showing up this weekend. You are a true inspiration and mentor. I’ve done several of your studies and a study with Kay, but I don’t know anything about Priscilla so I look forward to seeing her. Blessing for safe travels to KY and WELCOME to Louisville!!! God Bless you my sister!

I will be attending with a group from our church. We have done many of your Bible studies and just finished one on David that was from the Deeper Still series. It was awesome. I can’t wait to see what you all have in store for us this weekend. I enjoy your Bible studies. They are so much deeper than what I can get on my own. They fill my soul like fresh water on parched ground. Thank you for your dedication and God Bless all of you as you lead us this weekend. I’ll be praying that all of us will be filled and find the peace we so need.

For all of you going this weekend, if any of you sees a man there could you take pictures of him/them and post them? For years my husband has been reading Beth’s books so I’m taking him to LPLive in Charlotte. Whenever the blog videos come back from an event he gets nervous because all he sees are women. I assure him there are at least 10 that show up! Blessings to you all attending this weekend!!

COMING!!! Made plans to come with my sister and Mom, and then now have extra travel buddies in my best friend and two of my Mom’s friends–great weekend ahead!

I need a word. Just came through (and still working through) some of the hardest months of my life–and I think my Mom and sister will agree.
Loss of a beloved great-aunt, unexpected pregnancy of sister–and then marriage of said sister, crisis of best friend. Sometimes it seems that God gives too much.

Praying and believing that GOD will be present this weekend! Can’t wait!

Oh my!! I am beside myself. I just ordered my tickets after months of longingly gazing at e-mails from Lifeway about the event. My mom and I will be there.
What’s going on in my life is that THE LORD has been doing a mighty work in, on and around me! After a call to women’s ministry I have felt stuck. But I am finally getting somewhere I think! I am about to begin week 9 of “Believing God” and it has truly changed my relationship with God. THANK YOU for being such a willing vessel. If only we could sit down over a cup of java and chat! Anyway I will see you on Friday! I will be the one with tears of joy and undeserved grace running down my face.

    Hello, Sweet Beth!

My BFF of about 20 years and I are here – just got checked in and can hardly wait for tomorrow evening. With her getting ready to see her youngest off to University of Florida and me supporting my man (not in the financial sense!) during a very recent job loss, we are both ready for some refreshing.

    Come, Holy Spirit.

We are praying for the whole team and just KNOW He is going to show up – big time.

    Blessings,
    Gina

Wow Beth! Somehow I missed the message from you with your announcement. That is so amazing! What a great way to start a church with you, your husband, your 2 daughters and their husbands — amazing! This church will definitely be successful and be a loving church and a church in love with Jesus! Curtis and Amanda are brave to step up and do this. I pray for their protection, and pray that they hold on tight to Jesus throughout.
Love to you all in Christ,
    –Janet

    Beth,
I am sooo excited to be in Louisville tomorrow with all of you. I bought my ticket on Jan.11 and have been eagerly awaiting the time to arrive. I went to Deeper Still in Orlando a couple of years ago and LOVED it. It was my first time seeing you live and my first encounter with Priscilla. I cut my Christian baby teeth on Kay’s PUP studies (Covenant first) and became a Precept Leader at the encouragement of my Mom and sister. It was in the fall of 2007, when my Mom was in her final months of life (breast cancer) that we were introduced to you and your ministry through the “Living Beyond Yourself” Bible study. Mom, my sister Tracy and I were four weeks into it when Jesus called Mom home. She went to Glory with the fruit of the Spirit on her mind, in her heart and on her lips and fingertips (sign language ;). You’ll never know how much your teaching and tenderness in those sessions ministered to my sister and me in those most difficult weeks that followed. If ever there was a time when we needed to “live beyond ourselves” it was then. God certainly ordained that we be there during that season. I am leading that study with a group of young women this summer, and have been delighted to revisit the material and my musings from that time. It makes me smile and cry all at once to remember so precious a time as that was in my life and see how faithfully God walk me through it. In the process I became a wonderful fan of your incredible way of ministering the Truth of God’s Word and your amazing love that can be felt through the monitor as you honor Him with obedience AND sacrifice.
I love you so and am looking forward to hearing what God has for me through all three of you this weekend. I’m praying for your health, safety and a hedge against the enemy trying to convince you that you can’t do it. YOU CAN and YOU DO!! Go Girl!
    With Love,

Going with a dear friend! We have been looking forward to it for MONTHS. We are doubly blessed as we get to hear you in our very own home state when you come to Lincoln, NE two weeks later…woot, woot!!! Ready and yearning to hear the Lord’s calling in my life. Learning what it means to be fully surrendered and souled out for Christ! Ready to live a life that gives all glory to Him.
