Come Home With Us To Little Rock! LPL Ticket Giveaway

Packing my bags for my childhood home. My soul is stirred up like a mixer on high in a bowl full of cake batter splattering all over the kitchen. I feel gratitude. Grace. Homesickness. Happiness. Sadness. I have hard memories. I have wonderful memories. I have a faithful Savior who has promised to meet with us this weekend. Heading back to where you were raised rouses up all sorts of things. I love those hills and I am profoundly blessed and humbled to head back to Arkansas. Land of Opportunity. Arkansas, oh, what you do to me. Prettiest place I ever saw. Yep, I’m going back home to Arkansas.

Because of our wonderful Siesta Scholarship Fund, we have the joy of offering comp tickets to the Living Proof Live event Friday night and Saturday till noon to the first 20 Siestas who call our LPM office during business hours. If you would like to come to Little Rock LPL but can’t afford a ticket, call toll free 1-888-700-1999 and ask for Kimberly or Susan. And tell them I told you how much I love them and appreciate them when you call.

I’m crazy about you guys. Thanks for praying for us! Your surveys were incredibly insightful so rest assured that I am taking you with me in spirit this weekend.

    Beth,

My friend Kristy and I drove into your home state today for LPL (a day before). We prayed for you as we left Oklahoma for Arkansas. I thought about you as I was driving through the rolling hills. Love them! And by the way, the price tag sticker on your shoe pic was priceless. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thought that about that very same store. Can the sticker not as easily be put on the bottom of the shoe??! :). We love you! Praying for this weekend.

    mama beth-

I have such faith that God is going to be crazy amazing to everyone going this weekend and especially for YOU. I feel like YOU are going to get a deeper WORD then we are praying for everyone:)
and you know what I AM GONNA PRAY THAT TOO:)
I woke up thinking about the perception of faith today, and how the glory of the Lord is only revealed to those who would believe it. I am praying for believing hearts this weekend and an ignite of the Holy Spirit in that place…I know He is going to BLOW Y’ALL AWAY:)

Beth, I have to share the coolest thing with you. Yesterday, as I was praying for you and for LPL Arkansas, I kept thinking the words “full circle.” I know this isn’t the first time you’ve gone back to Arkansas, but it just seems extra special w/ your sister going. Anyway, I also happen to be going through Believing God with some girls from church, and yesterday was the first day of Session 8 for us (the lesson on Gilgal!!) When I heard you teach us about how Gilgal represents coming full circle, all of a sudden the words I had been praying over you had such a neat significance. But, the best part is that, I pulled up the Jewish calendar online because I knew we had to be getting close to the 10th day of Nissan – and I was overwhelmed to find out that it was YESTERDAY!! God is so cool!! Love you Siesta Mama! Oh how I know He is going to do amazing things this weekend!! Jesus, we love you!

Home. While I was in my hometown of Myrtle Beach, SC this past weekend I dreamt about the LPM staff and Beth wanting to show me some homes they recently had built with the help of Jesus. In the dream I felt privileged to be going around from house to house and thinking what sanctuaries you all have worked together to provide for those in need. Right before I woke up, the words “they [LPM staff and Beth] have rebuilt the homes inside the women by giving them knowledge of the shelter in Jesus.” Through your work you have certainly done this for me and countless others. Bless you all!

Beth, I loved hearing you speak tonight. Isn’t it just like God to have you speak on the very topic that I have been processing deeply over the last week and a half? I feel like I have pushed out what God is calling me to do with all the other “stuff” that has crowded my life. I have been searching for what God wants me to do and what to let go of. I was just blown away when you said what the topic of this weekend was. Looking forward to hearing what God wants to say to me through you tomorrow! I will be praying for you as you return to all your old stomping grounds and deal with all the memories of the past.

Relationships: I have a dear friend who was a mentor to me in my early 20’s. She was older and i needed her wise support as a young mother and wife. Once I matured spiritually, as a woman, mother, and wife my dear friend felt the need to continue to mentor me to the point of smothering me. She continued to be the parent in our relationship and i grew to resent her. The relationship went through a period of being severed. I still valued her friendship, but told her that she needed to treat me like an adult. It took a few yrs for her and I to figure out our roles. Eventually the relationship healed and we have been friends for almost 30 yrs.
