Come Home With Us To Little Rock! LPL Ticket Giveaway

Packing my bags for my childhood home. My soul is stirred up like a mixer on high in a bowl full of cake batter splattering all over the kitchen. I feel gratitude. Grace. Homesickness. Happiness. Sadness. I have hard memories. I have wonderful memories. I have a faithful Savior who has promised to meet with us this weekend. Heading back to where you were raised rouses up all sorts of things. I love those hills and I am profoundly blessed and humbled to head back to Arkansas. Land of Opportunity. Arkansas, oh, what you do to me. Prettiest place I ever saw. Yep, I’m going back home to Arkansas.

Because of our wonderful Siesta Scholarship Fund, we have the joy of offering comp tickets to the Living Proof Live event Friday night and Saturday till noon to the first 20 Siestas who call our LPM office during business hours. If you would like to come to Little Rock LPL but can’t afford a ticket, call toll free 1-888-700-1999 and ask for Kimberly or Susan. And tell them I told you how much I love them and appreciate them when you call.

I’m crazy about you guys. Thanks for praying for us! Your surveys were incredibly insightful so rest assured that I am taking you with me in spirit this weekend.

One day I hope to attend an LPL event. Beth, I cannot tell you how blessed I have been by your studies as God has spoken His many, many truths through you. The first study I did in church, just short of a decade ago (Breaking Free), helped to set me on a new path and a journey towards healing. I pray that the women attending this weekend in Arkansas would not only be spiritually and wonderfully challenged, but that each one would be individually touched to the core by God’s amazing wisdom and truth. I also pray that He would encourage your heart as you preach His Word, sister! All glory be to Him!

Beth, I’m so excited for this weekend! I too am a Texas girl. I am sure the Lord has many blessings for us this weekend. I have read many of your books and done many bible studies and have loved each of them deeply. Many have hit home with me and personal issues I’ve had. Thank you so much.

    Love, Your sister in Christ

“I have hard memories. I have wonderful memories.” That hit a nerve for me Beth. Last week I was cleaning up an old dresser that my husband and I are placing in our soon to be new baby’s room and my emotions were all stirred up because I was recalling the different experiences that dresser had witnessed. I wasn’t sure I wanted the dresser to be in my new baby’s room, but I have left it thus far. I feel the same way when I go back to my hometown-all stirred up. A word that keeps coming back to me is ‘resting in my father’s love’. I’m definately a work in progress and God keeps guiding me, showing me my past from his perspective, reminding me that I have a Godly heritage with him, and that I can just let him take all my frustration and confusion.

I will be praying and thinking of you this weekend. May God bless your time at ‘home’. I loved being at the LPL event in Spokane last fall and appreciate the love you pour out to all.

    Maria

Beth, I have been meaning to tell you this for years….I am a professional Christian Counselor, and I direct a Christian counseling center in Hendersonville, NC. You don’t realize it, but you actually partner with us in the trenches every week as we work with the wounds and the pains that come our way. Many women have completed your bible-studies as a required part of their counseling process, and the results have been amazing. I pray for a sweet time for you this weekend – it was just last week I was sharing with my staff the bitter-sweet experience for me of journeying back home. May you enjoy the sweetness of it, and also be reminded of what God can redeem!!

Going Home can be the most joyful stress we ever face. Like in the movie, ON GOLDEN POND, the daughter played by Jane Fonda, had conquered New York, but when she came home she reverted back to childhood.

You are in my prayers. May His anointing be on you greater than ever, to over come and break though any strongholds that may try to rear their ugly heads. You are beautiful, you are called and you are equiped!

    Go Get’um girl! Love you!

This siesta is asking Father God to richly anoint you, Beth, that your ear would be completely tuned to Him. That your heart would beat in sync with His. I pray that every person that attends this LPL this weekend would have their hearts softened and prepared by our Lord God ready to receive what He has for them. I pray for healing, restoration, and reconciliation among His people that unity would abound and that His love would be the characteristic that is manifested as a result. In Jesus name amen

I have a prayer request: my sister attended your Fresno event and said your topic was exactly what she needed…however juts a couple of weeks later she’s praying for a reason not to give up. she says she has little faith left. Please pray for her. A refreshment of Jesus’ love in her life to come alive and renew her in Him. Thank you.

Connie, I am in prayer right now for your sister with you. I know the substance of the topic. I pray for the refreshement that only the Holy Spirit can bring. Father God, I come before you and I ask that from the very core of Connie’s sister you would bring to her heart and mind the words of encouragement that lifted her spirit a few weeks ago. Let the very word she needs rise up and displace any discouragement and fill her with with an overwhelming sense of your presence. In Jesus name. Amen

I will pray for your time in Arkansas. I thank the Lord for you regularly…your obedience, your humility, your sense of humor, your modesty, your love for God’s Word and the way He has gifted you to see other women grow in the Lord. I am reminded of something you said during ESTHER study videos: “You can’t amputate your history from your destiny.”
    Thanks for sharing…..Kristy

    Longing to be there says:

Oh, how I do so wish I could be there this weekend. Little Rock is the closest you well be to me this year but for the last few years I have been unable to purchase a ticket or be able to afford a hotel room for the weekend due to the fact that I lost one of my two jobs a couple of years ago and I am not even able to pay my mortgage and regular monthly bills much less be able to buy a ticket even though everything in me longs to be there with ears wide open waiting to see what our awesome LORD has to say to me. You and all of those attending will be in my prayers as God moves mightily in the lives of those in Arkansas this weekend.

“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17
