Hey, Darling Things! I am on my way to our Little Rock Living Proof Live with much joy, anxiousness, and anticipation and pure-dee desperation for Jesus to show up. He’s all we’ve got to offer. And, gloriously, He’s all we need.
Don’t even think of dropping out of our Scripture Memory Team! If you let the Word dwell in you richly, I promise you that, when this calendar year closes, you will have experienced a completely different 12 months than you would have if you’d let your own opinions, agendas, quandaries, fears, feelings, insecurities, and bondage dwell in you richly. God’s Word WORKS. He sends it forth with accomplishing power. Don’t just memorize the words. BELIEVE THEM. Take them all the way to your heart and apply them to your real, live experience.
My verse this time around is one I’ve loved for a long time, especially as it’s worded in the NIV, but I’ve never committed it to memory. You’re welcome to join me if you don’t have another one planned. Here goes:
Beth, Houston. “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!” Isaiah 30:18 NIV
I love you guys. Stay with it, Sisters! Jesus is so worthy.

I’m a little late with this one, but here it is:
Luke 11:9-10, 13 NLT
“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”

The Message
Relationship. My friend of many years became distant over several months. She forgot my birtday and we see each other because we work together. The breaking point came when I showed up for a meeting she thought I should not be at. She told me I was nobody in the church and it wasn’t my place. I know it upset her when I told her I had been invited. But the nobody comment echoed through my head all night. I awoke the next morning near tears and when I started my Bible time, the tears stared and came for an hour. The enemy said, your friendship is over accept it. We attend the same church, work together at the church and because of our friendship, work in alot of ministry. NO, I would not accept it with a fight. I poured my heart out to God asking what and how to handle it. I sat down and wrote her a letter, reread it to make sure there were no your fault side to it! I called a friend I could trust, asked her to pray, then called my friend and asked if I could come see her. She was on her way to check a friends house so we met there. We sat in the car as a snow, sleet storm went on outside…it was cold in the world around us. I held her hand and asked her not to say a thing until I was finished. I read my letter to her, the ending sentence was ‘if this is the end of this friendship I will be ok but I could not let it just die without asking why”. When I finished, we were both in tears, she had been feeling the same things I had and didn’t understand. We cried, hugged, cried and talked. I am very happy to report, we are fine. I have learned to accept a change in the relationship. We are in 1st grade and friendships to change. It’s ok but sometimes we have to work at them and always love them. And a side note, Beth…..I LOVED LITTLE ROCK!!!!!

I just got back from Little Rock, Ark. from an amazing conference with Beth Moore and her wonderful praise team. I love Beth, but what I loved most was hearing the over 8,000 voices singing songs and praises. Hearing Beth teach the word. God prepared our group through Bible study which hit on some of the same points that Beth shared. Beth you are great and I believe that God has blessed you with a great ability to share His word with others like me. Thanks for listening to His calling and being a willing vessel. I am a Siesta Sister and have really enjoyed the Scripture memory, didn’t get to meet on the arena floor with the others our group was leaving, but prayed for you all. Thanks again Beth for giving us a little taste of what heaven may be like with the gathering of that large a community in one place, how amazing!!!
