Hey, Darling Things! I am on my way to our Little Rock Living Proof Live with much joy, anxiousness, and anticipation and pure-dee desperation for Jesus to show up. He’s all we’ve got to offer. And, gloriously, He’s all we need.
Don’t even think of dropping out of our Scripture Memory Team! If you let the Word dwell in you richly, I promise you that, when this calendar year closes, you will have experienced a completely different 12 months than you would have if you’d let your own opinions, agendas, quandaries, fears, feelings, insecurities, and bondage dwell in you richly. God’s Word WORKS. He sends it forth with accomplishing power. Don’t just memorize the words. BELIEVE THEM. Take them all the way to your heart and apply them to your real, live experience.
My verse this time around is one I’ve loved for a long time, especially as it’s worded in the NIV, but I’ve never committed it to memory. You’re welcome to join me if you don’t have another one planned. Here goes:
Beth, Houston. “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!” Isaiah 30:18 NIV
I love you guys. Stay with it, Sisters! Jesus is so worthy.

Isaiah 54:10
Dear Beth,
In the last few months God has really taken me back to the “scene of my pit”, bringing up very painful things that I did not know I had not dealt with. I have always been open to the Lord using that pain and those hardships in some way, but apparently there was more evidence left at the scene that I needed to gather in order to equip me to testify my story to others. Your words really spoke to my heart in this.
I also very much appreciated the visual of having to write down all of the people near and dear, far and dear, etc. My husband and I are still getting settled into our new life together, and between that and the dynamic of him being back in school, I think I have really closed myself off in some ways, some due to the pit mentioned before. I learned, like you said, I can never tell myself or anyone through my actions, that I have loved all I can. My hubby and I sat down tonight (he’d been studying for a test all day), and I attempted to walk him through the lessons I learned today. I am discovering my life plan, my GOAL, and we have a plan to get the community part of our life going again.
Thank you for your words today and for your willingness to let the Lord work through you. I saw you in Colorado Springs a couple of years ago (where I’m from), and I would say both events are stops on my spiritual walk that left milemarkers on my heart. Thank you for all you and your ministry team do. May God keep blessing you!

Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell[a] in the house of the LORD
Forever.
