Hey, Sweet Things! I’m a mighty long way from home in Fresno, California and looking so forward to getting into the Scriptures and into some passionate praise and worship with these West-side women. I love knowing that Priscilla is in Florida this weekend serving at her first simulcast and we are on the opposite side of the continent with our Living Proof Live. You wouldn’t waste a prayer on either one of us.
This will be a record setting post – my shortest ever! Wish so much I could tarry here and visit with you but, Sister Girl, my hands are FULL. Oh, how I pray you are sticking with your Scripture memory. Don’t give up! God will bring a harvest if we persevere and see it all the way through. I love my selection this go round. If you don’t know what you want to memorize for Verse 7, you are welcome to share mine. Here goes!

I love your studies. I am a Christian, but by the skin of my teeth. Every day I’m thankful I’m Christian but dissappointed that GOD has not taken the biggest thorn from my side. I am an alcoholc and i hate it. Been to prison twice and now work construction. Have been hit by cars and broken every bone in my body. I have isolated myself and am only existing. I am so ashamed after all HE has done for me-I am failing HIM my kids and myself. I just want to be close to HIM again but my sin has me separated from everyone.Been isolating becuz I don’t want people to know I’m failing on my own. I have Phillippians 4:13 tatooed on my arm and every day when I look in the mirror it makes me cry. Because I can do nothing without him-nothing. With HIM I can soar, but I screwedit up. Now I am like one of those people in the Bible-where I would have been better off not knowing HIM than just existing after knowing what I know I am so ashamed! So very ashamed.
Oh, Angelia, many of us on here understand the addiction thing. There’s no shame here. Many of us can also testify that freedom in Christ is real and completely possible when we put our impossibilities right in His powerful hand…every single day. You can trust Him. He loves you so much and can redeem every hurt in your valuable life. We’re glad you’re here. Hang out in Siestaville (right here on the blog) a while.
