Tacoma Living Proof Live Ticket Giveaway!

Hey, Sweet Things!

Right this very minute, I am sitting in my dear hair stylist’s chair getting some fresh color. (Oh, I do dearly love fresh color.) That’s what I do for special occasions (and half inch-long roots) and going to Tacoma for our first Living Proof Live of 2011 is a SPECIAL OCCASION. We are excited, nervous, and anxious (and very busy preparing) to see Christ revealed in the Tacoma Dome tomorrow night and Saturday. Please all of you pray for us. I am hopping on a plane this afternoon so that I can get a tiny jump on the time change. Michelle will join me tomorrow.

Because of our wonderful Siesta Scholarship Fund, we have the great joy of offering comp tickets to the event to the first 20 Siestas who call our Living Proof office today during business hours. (Remember Central Standard Time! We are two hours later than you in the West! If you happen to call during the lunch hour, leave a voice mail and they will call you back.) If you would like to come to the Tacoma Dome this weekend for our Living Proof Live but can’t afford a ticket, call toll free 1-888-700-1999 and ask for Kimberly or Susan. And tell them I told you how much I love them and appreciate them when you call.

You guys are my favorite bloggers in all the world. Your mama loves you like nobody’s business.

STAY IN THE WORD!

Be blessed, be rested, be protected, be quieted, be strengthened. And God,be You in her.

I can only imagine that the Seattle/Tacoma area women are beside themselves about you coming to see them!! I’m praying that God will fill the Dome with women that are hungry to hear His Word and I know you’ll be right on target with what He’s put in your heart for the weekend! I would love to be there, but I was able to be at Tuesday Night Bible study this week and was blessed BEYOND words at the number of young ladies that were under the age of 25!! Beth, that is God working in a MIGHTY way in the Houston area! Thank you for sharing your gift of teaching with us, we are truly a blessed community.

Travel safe, Beth and Michelle as you join her tomorrow.
    Blessings, Bobbie

Praying for the presence of God to fall in Tacoma!! Tacoma is dear to my heart for where it was in that very place I first set eyes on my husband! ๐Ÿ™‚
Thank you for the ALL CAPS reminder to stay in the Word! You said that to me when you called me out in Spokane in the arena. AND I AM! This very day I am writing my talk for the precious women in our Valley for an event next month. And I will be bathing in the Word all day (and have been in preparation).
Thank you for the exhortation this day! And I get my roots done next week.
Love you, Beth! And blessings on Tacoma!!!

    Beth,
Many thanks for being real…even if hair color is not so real…a club that I am also a member of also! Many more prayers going up today for your new journey to those who have already been blessed through you. I am a 40 yr old mom of 4 and just picked up a copy of So Long, Insecurity a few days ago and started journeling today. Of course Insecurity popped up its not so small head when I read to journal in th front of th book! Is she crazy??? For anyone to just read and pick apart???? Ummm, yeah I chose to write in my journal…so let the journey of healing begin ๐Ÿ™‚ I am very excited to start the next turn that this will take me. By the grace of God I have been on a road to recovery from sexual, emotional, verbal abuse, fear, worry, anxiety, legalism and anger/bitterness. I believe all starting w/ insecurity. This is where the nxt steps in journey begin. Looking forward to becoming the woman God intented me to be. Make God show you many amazing blessing each day and each moment, and show you without a doubt that you are right where God wants you in th moment.

Stacey, Lydia is still all over my journal. Over the last week I have no doubt that I wrote her name down at least three times. May Jesus hold you all so tight.

Thank you so, so much for continuing to pray for her.

Can’t wait to see you tomorrow. Have a safe flight.. Freshly done hair is the best. I can just see you walking on stage with the new “DO”.

May your fresh word from God “RAIN” down on us with blessing. We have been having so much of God’s rain here lately the earth is bursting with new flowers and buds on the trees. May our souls burst forth with new growth in the Lord, too.

We just did your Breaking Free this morning(session 7) and I just wanted to cry all the way through it but couldn’t for the girls sitting around me. I am so excited!! I get to be there at the Tacoma Dome tomorrow night and Sat morning! We have a Bed and Breakfast in Everett, Wa so it can be difficult to get way on the weekend. But my sweet hubby will do the 3 checkins and serve the breakfasts Saturday morning so I can be there! What a treat! I’ve made fresh applesauce, and will bake apple muffins and cookies so he will have those onboard for the guests.
When I was first waking up this morning I was thinking of all the ladies coming to Tacoma. It’s Spring and I need to get the soil cleaned up, fed, and spaded so it’s absolutely ready to give life and growth to whatever I put in that soil. I’m asking God for all of us that we will arrive with our soil well-tilled and ready to receive all He has to deposit into our lives! KZ

Oh, I wish I could! It would be a fantastic way to begin spring break, but I can’t. I have to be in Spokane by 4:30 on Saturday and there’s no way I’d be back in time! Bummer! Oh, well. Next week I get to hang out with a friend I haven’t seen in a really long time, so that should be fun!

Praying for safe travels, calm nerves and oh, so lovely roots. I can’t tell you how it blesses me that you get nervous. I guess misery loves company afterall. But that seemingly little tidbit helped give me some courage when I thought surely I would die of fright. I was actually convinced that God had not called me to teach b/c of my nervousness. No such copout allowed. So He shows up and I wear extra deoderant.

    Colleen says:

Hi Beth! I’ve never commented on your blog before, but you should know that I think of you so often and you have been a HUGE influence in my life. I’m really just writing to tell you about that. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have done almost all of your studies, but what really changed my life was your book Praying God’s Word. I found freedom from sin and captivity that I had searched for for YEARS and not found. I absolutely credit Jesus for my freedom, but if you weren’t around to write these amazing books and studies inspired by the Holy Spirit, so many of us would still be wandering and searching. You are so dear to me, and you don’t even know me! But I know you love me anyway. ๐Ÿ™‚ So that’s mostly what I have to say. I could write pages, but that would be overkill. I also wanted to let you know that I am starting a blog of my own called “Be Set Free,” about freedom in Christ through God’s word. I don’t want to plagiarize anything that you’ve written, but I also HAVE to share what God has done in my life. So of course, I will be directing readers to your books and studies, especially Praying God’s Word. I am not asking for anything from you, I just wanted you to know, because you are sort of the inspiration for it all. ๐Ÿ™‚ And I hope God grows my blog and continues to grow your ministry so that more people can find the freedom in Christ that I have. So that’s all. You’re the best!! xoxo Colleen

It would be such a wonder to be there with you in tacoma this weekend. I had an opportunity to go to seattle once, but in the final hour before boarding the plane…turned it down, cause it wasnt where god wanted me to be. i was the last to know it though. i do know how it feels to go somewhere or have it all planned out, and god not planning to go with me, god not “show” up-as it worded somewhere or another, until, of course He did have to show up to rescue me and bring me back-if that makes any sense…sometimes i truly feel that i’m like this kid of god’s that has to be kept on a leash from time to time, just to keep me from disappearing off somewhere…
so, it’s good to see you on here, was concerned for you in those houston storms this week. been having some difficulty lately with focus on the ssmt verses- stuff talking to me in my head- distracting me- pray for me, if you would. thanks. goodnight.
