PTL! What an encouragement to see so many people attending.

Also, a PTL! from the Northern MN State–LifeWay Stores have opened in MN Mpls Metro area. No official grand opening yet but we are looking forward to Beth’s books stocked on the shelves for us.

My lst time to one of her live speaking engagements. It was fabulous!!!!!!
The singing of ALL those people,( it was said there were 11,000 there) was awesome.
The Praise and worship team were wonderful
She kept my attention and the 2 hrs. did not seem that long.
She is funny, witty and above all the best Bible teacher I know among women.
Hope I can go to another one.

Ahh, taking in those moments yet again. Thank you to everyone at LPL that made this last weekend possible. Praise God for the FOUR women who came to know Christ in a personal way! God is good and ever present. Thanks for sharing.

    Siesta Mama Beth,

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EVENT! I can’t begin to tell you how profoundly I needed your messages this weekend. I returned home encouraged, empowered and strengthened for battle. God has had me walking the hardest road of my life for the last 6 months…I came desperately seeking a Word from Him. Did He EVER deliver! After much prayer and surrender, I am awash with confidence and hope that our God is upholding me, and at work through me as I “Eat Pray Love.” Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    Much love,
    Tracy

P.S. What an incredible thrill to hear about your sister! Talk about reason to HOPE! Praising God and rejoicing with you!

      • Hi Kathy!

I hope you enjoy the notes!! Taking LOTS of notes helps me pay attention! I am a little ADD…hahaha…if my notes don’t make that obvious enough! The lesson blessed me so much I couldn’t wait to share with others! Enjoy your time at the beach sweet siesta!

        • Kathy says:

might you also have the words for the commissioning? they are always so powerful and i use them or parts of them often in prayer for myself or others?

p.s. when at a living proof live event-i scribble the commissioning super fast with short-hand included!!

p.p.s.s. my verse for being at the beach is psalms 23: 2&3-“He leads me beside quiet waters, (where) He restores my soul.”!

    Mary Lou Smith says:

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO.

Our group totaled 28, at least half were first timers, at least 10, including me, were there in Lexington 5 years ago.

At the end when we each turned to each other and spoke and hugged, I looked across the sanctuary and it looked like a beautiful braid of sisters.

What is better than sisters hugging and sharing tears. Beth your sharing your sister’s testimony was so special, we thank God that she has turned to Him AND because of her others are turning to Him. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Thank you Beth, thank you, selfishly we’re praying God will continue to bless you with continued wisdom and physical strength for many seasons to come.

Love and prayers, Mary Lou Smith

This was my first time at a Beth Moore conference and it was amazing!!! Singing praises to God with 11,000 other women brought tears to my eyes. It gave me a small taste of what it will be like singing praises to our God in heaven. I am so thankful for this wonderful experience!

God Bless you all!

    Rich,
Thank you for capturing a bit of GOD’D GLORY as He hovered over RUPP arena. Praise You Jesus for speaking your WORDS to me through you faithful (and hilarious)servant Beth. Looking forward to seeing the SIESTA photo. Beth your words to us backstage meant so much…I am humbled and privileged to journey with you and my fellow Siestas.

    Anna says:

This too was my first time at a Living Proof Live event and I was awestruck by our God and how He brought together so many women who love the Word and love to worship God. Thanks be to God who uses Beth to bring us all closer to Him. I came home ready for war, ready to get out of the pit I have been in, and ready to eat, pray, and love…

  18. 18
    Kimberly says:

Can you say HUGE? God knew exactly what I needed to hear…when His word came I ate it and it is my joy and my heart’s delight. Thank you for faithfully listening and teaching His word!
Here’s my one sentence summation that I got from the weekend–I believe He’s my Healer…and because I believe I will choose to trust and obey and live faithfully right NOW no matter what I see ahead of me.
    Blessed beyond words–
    Kim

    Joyce Watson says:

    Beautiful! God presence is everywhere!

No longer will Satan have a foothold
No longer will we follow the Lie
For we worship the Lord thy God
We will commit our lives to Him
We will offer our heart, our mind and our will
    to the Holy of Hollies
He will establish our steps and lead our
    coming and going
His words will be precise and sketched as in stone
    written upon our hearts
We will not allow sin to enter in
We will listen for His voice which
    echoes to set us free.
    God will delivery our soul
He will make us a testimony of His faithfulness
We will trust in the real and living God.
    He will lift us up
    out of the pit
    He will protect us
from the wasted highways of life
    He will strengthen us
    when life weighs us down
For we will fly as on eagle wings
and we will not feel ashame
For we will cry out in His name
When life has turned to dust
He will bring us out of the grave
He will hold us in the palm of His hand
    His joy will overwhelm us
For we know our God is great
    Praise the Lord
    Creator and Redeemer
For He satisfies our every need.

Thank you SO MUCH for your willingness to be used by God to speak to and help women. I was truly blessed by everything and everyone there last weekend. God spoke to my heart and has blessed me already because I was there. Travis and his musicians are truly a great musical group. And Beth, your words pierced my heart and I thank you for letting God use you to speak to me. God has convicted me of several things I am lacking in because of what I heard you say in Lexington. I am going to be working on giving these things over to God and becoming more open to letting God use me in all aspects of my life. May God continue to bless you and your families as you do His will. Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!

    Tammy G says:

Not quite sure if bringing my husband with me was the smartest thing I’ve ever done or not. As Satan would have it I fell head-long, both feet in, and brain four hundred yards back, right into one of his many schemes. Sometimes I wish there was a bridle on my mouth. Desipte my failure my husband and I managed to recieve a blessing. Even though I feel more beat up than encouraged I know that God is working something out in order to fill it with His will. I think this one is going to take some time but prayerfully I will come out stronger and better equiped for the next time Satan tries to get to me and my marriage.
Thank you for your passion and truthfullness. I too have a sister who is far away, 10 years and counting. I have not always been what I should have been in dealing with her, many regrets. Still God is good and I can only pray that she will not be too much longer in turning to Him with her whole heart. Thank you for the encouragement.
    In Christ, Tammy G

    Yvonne says:

    Beth,

I’m still too overcome with thankfulness for this weekend to really say much. (for starters, I lost my bracelet. I went on in hopes of being able to purchase another one and was GIVEN one from some sweet lady – I have praised the Lord over and over!!!) What a blessing it was to be in that place, a place where I have cheered my beloved Kentucky Wildcats on so many times before, to cheer even more and deeper and harder for my One and Only Savior; to sit in that place and hear His Word proclaimed so beautifully and so boldly……still sitting here shaking my head in the wonders of this past weekend.

I wanted so badly to be a part of the Siesta gathering afterwards. I did not get to meet you in Huston in January and hoped that there would be a time for Siesta pictures while in Lexington. I don’t know why it has not seemed to be in God’s plan for me to meet you, but how I pray that one day, sweet sister in Christ, I will get to meet you face-to-face on this side of glory.

Thank you Beth, LPM, Travis and crew for the sacrifice you make to serve the Lord in this way. You are all truly a blessing and I thank God for you and your obedience to Him.

    In His Love,

    Yvonne

    Kathy says:

Amanda, thanks again for posting these recaps and the beautiful music by Travis- How do all of you at LPM, especially, your mother “process” this journey-

I was in the Austin Lifeway store today and was behind a young lady purchasing one of your mother’s books for the first time. She stated, “I’ve never read Beth Moore before” I wanted to clap my hands, I know our Lord will touch her through your mother’s work.

My “old girls” group is sharing Living Beyond Yourself as we drive to visit aging parents and grandchildren in the Dallas and Houston areas. My goodness, I’m so glad Beth wrote this and had it recorded-

Thank you dear Sister in Christ for providing the recaps, they are amazing to me- I’ve been in Lexington for horse racing events and it is a remarkable part of our country. My hair stylist just moved there and I urged her to attend. Her life could use a touch of Jesus. Lots of love and appreciation

    Kristi says:

I was blessed enough to goto this conference.WOW! What a blessing. I really needed this so much.
Thank you Beth for helping me to understand God’s Word so much better that my love for it is amazing. I admire your enthusiasm. You have helped me grow in the Lord so much.

    Kris Gaskins says:

Thank you to Beth Moore, Travis Cottrell and the whole Living Proof Ministry Team for allowing God to use them in Lexington this past weekend. I just know that so many people were blessed, including me.

    Kelly Jo says:

I still just can’t believe how much you love us!! It overwhelms me. I’ll be honest with ya, it took me a while to “really” believe you and I’m sorry about that. I’ll never question it again. I know my siesta mama loves me.

I wish you knew how much I love you. I was sitting on the first row to your right and I promise I asked our sweet Jesus to please let me sweet mama look at me, and of course you did I blew you a kiss and I could just see that you knew I was one of your girls! I wanted to give you a good squeezen but I knew that Hawk was on the lookout. LOL i’m kidding I like her too.

You were great this weekend and I learned a lot I will memorize those verses as well. Im so thankful Jesus was all over you. I may be flying to South Dakota?? I really love you a ton and thank you for being our mama and please don’t leave us.. That scares me.

      Beth says:

Dearest Kelly Jo, I hear your sweet heart. You just keep those darling eyes of yours on Jesus. I am deeply flawed and I never know what the future will hold regarding this branch of ministry or that. He’ll hold us tightly through thick and thin and never let us go. Yes, I do love you guys but only as the least reciprocal reflection of Christ’s love.

      • Kelly Jo says:

You don’t have to post this… But I just want you to know I have grown so much over this past year. And believe me when I say I have wore out a spot on the church altar I even sneaked and got Bro. Grant’s anointing oil and put it on my body and just prayed my heart out you see I wanted the Lord to know I was serious about him hearing my prayers and he truly is my first love! I’ve learnt that keeping my eyes on Jesus keeps me going! Would you believe I am 30 and have never really been in love. Some of the girls I work with have called me the little virgin mary and I have tried to explain to them the importance of keeping a promise I made when I was 15 to the one and only JESUS that I would not have sex until I was married and they think Im crazy but Im in it for the diamonds. One more thing Im sorry I said don’t leave us I wish I could have deleted that but I think for me I have had some very important people in my life say they love you and then they leave a few yrs or choose a new husband over their children and I just know the sadness that brings. If you could adopt me I would let you! I love you more than you loved your Buddy!! PS help me pray for a mate

I was blessed to sit in Rupp Arena with my daughter and 10 year old granddaughter at just the perfect time in all of our lives. I thought my heart would burst watching my granddaughter so faithfully taking notes. I had brought my own mother’s well used Bible so we spiritually had 4 generations gathered to Love the Lord together. It was a mountain top experience that will sustain us well. Thank you for this ministry.

Oooops. I was not finished but that paragraph took off by itself.
Anyway, I wanted to say how encouraging and challenging Jeremiah was at the same time.
Many of those scriptures are written on my index cards to carry around for awhile. Scripture memorization is necessary for me.
Thanks for the Siesta pic too!!

Sooo…blessed, convicted, refreshed, challenged, encouraged at LPL Lexington this weekend! Thank you so much for everyone who had a part in making it happen and for this awesome video reminder of God’s sweet spirit that was there. Beth, before you even stepped on the stage Friday night, God had already given me through worship 2 ‘hard-but-divine words’ that I know I need to continue ‘feasting’ on: thankfulness & surrender… thanks for sharing not only God’s word with us but your heart and very life. We love you, dear Siesta Mama!

I will not go in to detail but let me tell I have been on a road that is not good since I have been unemployed but God is dealing with me and I thank Him that I am still senstive to His voice.

I love the way you admonish church and lift up high this body of believers God has put us with in each of our churches to do life together.

    Diana A says:

Living in Western Canada I did not attend the event, but I just had to say that the music for this video touched me greatly as I viewed it yesterday and again today. I received some sad news, and this really put God back into context and allowed me to just Glorify Him, knowing He is the answer to the situation at hand. I couldn’t respond yesterday, but have found the strength for today.

A wonderful shout out to Travis and a very grateful thank you for providing me an opportunity to Praise my Lord!

  47. 47
    Kara says:

I must admit that this event left me feeling beaten up. The Holy Spirit is usually very gentle with me. But not this weekend. I knew I was angry, but I never knew how much, until He started pushing it out of me. Its like he said, “Enough already, we are done with this.” This weekend was like starting over with God. The anger had erased the truth of God’s character from my mind. And my fingers were well stuck in my ears. I can honestly say that (a long time coming) I have a soft heart again toward God. A true miracle.
Thanks Beth & LP for all you do. Can’t wait till Columbus, 2011

I was at the LPM in Lexington, KY and Beth, this was the first time I have ever seen you live and let me tell ya sister, you hit me with all your words…I had an awesome time and rededicated my life to Christ the Sunday at my church, Immanuel Baptist in Elizabethtown, KY. I am hoping to see you again soon. I hope you receive any mail that is sent to you because I am sending you a letter…Again, I had an awesome time and I am applying the “Eat Pray Love” in my life and I have jumped right into the water and gotten soaked with the Word of God. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend.Looking forward to seeing you again and reading your book “Breaking Free”

What a great, uplifting and inspirational conference!! This was my first Living Proof Live – Beth Moore Conference. I live in Ohio and decided just two weeks before the conference to sign up and to come to Lexington, KY (a 3 1/2 hour drive). God blessed me with being able to find lodging for Friday night. So, I know that God’s hand was guiding me in His Perfect Plan.

Travis and the Praise Team were so uplifting and I loved the Saturday gospel quartet. What talented musicians God has blessed and has placed on the Praise Team. Praise Be to God!!

I am so excited about your upcoming LPL event in Columbus, OH in August 2011. We welcome you to central Ohio. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have studied four of Beth’s Bible studies. The Patriarchs, A Women’s Heart, Stepping Up and Breaking Free. They have brought my Faith Journey to a higher level at the perfect time in my life. Of course, God already knew that.

What touched my heart deeply in this summer’s Breaking Free Bible study, was the lesson in which you talked of the season of your life when you lost your mother.

My mother (92 years old) passed away in April 2010. Her favorite Bible verse was John 3:16 King James Version. Since October 2009 (a hospital stay that I thought was the final time on earth for Mom), we talked about John
Chapter 3 each time I saw her. Many time she would recite John 3:16 from memory, when we read from the Bible together (I know how much you encourage us to memorize Bible verses). From October through April, we talked about Heaven and read verses to envision the colors, the sounds and the very presence of God beside us in Heaven. We often read, Revelation 21:18-21. Of course, being with Dad, her soul mate of 55 1/2 years, was her most anticipated thought. Dad passed away in January 1997. Mom’s main question when Dad passed away and again in the fall of 2009 was: “How will I find Dad?” My sister’s minister helped us in 1997 with this explanation. Your husband and soul mate of 55 1/2 years will find you in Heaven.

The study of Revelation Chapter 21 reminded me of a Bible study I had shared with a group of six other ladies. The book in our study was “Pray With Your Eyes Open” by Richard L. Pratt, Jr. In Chapter 6 on page 71, The New Jerusalem is correlated with Revelation Chapter 21. The discussion with the ladies was so vivid, I can still remember the anticipated excitement of trying to imagine the New Jerusalem and what our Heavenly Home might look, sound and smell like. We were using all of our senses to imagine the eternal home. That very discussion was the resource that I drew upon as Mom and I read the Bible. One Sunday in Nov. 2009, I spent the day studying Rev. 21 and looked up the definitions of each of the precious stones of the 12 foundations of the walls in The New Jerusalem. I wanted to know what the colors were of each of the gems (greens, blues, reddish-brown, yellow & deep purple). I was able to talk about the colors, even during the week before Mom joined Our Heavenly Father and Jesus in her eternal home. The most precious smile that I received from Mom was when I talked about the topaz colored gem and that Topaz was my birthstone for the month of November. Mom was quite weak at that time, but her smile transmitted so much communicative energy to me. Praise Be To God!

Mom’s great love for music and her talents (piano, vocal & church choir director) were one area of her life that she glorified God. She taught in public schools for 39 1/2 years and she served others throughout her life. What a testimony to God’s glory. Mom guided my faith journey and equipped me well for life, but I miss her greatly.

The Lexington, KY Conference was just the spiritual renewal that I was needing. How can it be that with 11,000 people at the Rupp Arena that I could still have such one-on-one time with God? Only through God’s grace is such a miracle possible.

The renewal was certainly in God’s perfect timing. When I arrived home on Sunday, I received the news that one of my best friends passed away on Friday. She had been treating cervical cancer for the past year. Her calling hours were on Monday and her funeral was on Tuesday. God’s grace was ever present and of course it was the exact portion for my needs. Victory In Jesus was one of the praise songs in Lexington and I Praise God for that.

Beth, I pray for Blessings to you and to each member of your family. Many Blessings to Travis, the Praise Team each person in their families. Blessings to the entire Living Proof Live staff members and their families.

    In God’s Love,

    Gay

I can’t tell you how incredible Lexington was this weekend. The message blew me away. Don’t know why, but always amazed at how God meets me where I am. Also,Travis outdid himself with the worship planning. WOW! Is all I can say.

Thank you for all that goes into a weekend like this past. I took my Aunt for the first time and we are hoping and planning to attend the Deeper Still Conference in December.

    Thank you!!!!!
