*** Hey ladies, this is Melissa . . . I added a couple of additional pictures to the bottom of this post. My favorite is obviously the one where the entire Living Proof Staff is throwing up gang signs . . . I mean, A.A.V. (All About Vangie) Signs. Classic LPM ***
Hey, Siestaville! How are all of you? We have had quite the whirlwind weekend! Hawk (Michelle) and I had the great joy of serving at the Desperate For Jesus women’s conference at Dr. Tony Evan’s fine church in Dallas alongside speaker Tara Jenkins. (Oh my word, I loved getting to know her. God is raising up such wonderful and powerful young women to serve this and the next generation. We’re in good hands, Sisters.) My dear friend, Priscilla Shirer (Dr. Tony and Dr. Lois Evan’s daughter and one of our favorite Bible study teachers/writers on earth) emceed the event and I love any time I get to spend with her. I had a blast with the women who attended just like I knew I would. They don’t just listen to the Word around Oak Cliff. They participate in the Word. Groups don’t get better than that one.
I finished my second session late Saturday morning, threw the baton into Tara’s able hands and took a run for the airport. Hawk and I had a huge event to attend back in Houston and we’d make it by the skin of our teeth. Even the least weather delay would have caused us to miss it. When we got to DFW, the Houston flight prior to ours was delayed and the one after ours was canceled but we sailed out of there on the everlasting arms of God and made it to the church on time.
Since you got to meet my dear friend and coworker, Evangeline Harris, a few weeks ago on our second SSBS video greeting and knew we had a wedding on the horizon, I thought it was only fair to let you know that our Vangie is now (drum roll please) Mrs. Darren Williams. (I think I heard trumpets in the distance just then.) The wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Our bride was an absolute vision and her groom was so handsome. The chapel was full of family and friends who cheered them on to the altar after a courtship fit for a Lifetime movie. Both of them have long histories with God and each loves Jesus more than anything on earth. Isn’t that the ultimate? It was truly the culmination of two great stories into one fabulous book.
Evangeline has nine – count them, NINE – brothers and sisters and, yes, all from the same set of (courageous…and maybe tired) parents. She honored me so much by asking if I’d take part in the ceremony. As I addressed them both during the service, I told Darren that he had no idea what all he’d inherit when he fell in love with Vangie. Not only did he instantly have 11 in-laws and all their spouses. He had all of us at LPM who are as thick as blood with his new wife. I told him he’d just inherited 15 lily white women, some of whom attempt to take the edge off with self-tanner. But I’ll not say who. Let me just say I was among the tanner ones at the wedding. Thank you, L’Oreal.
Needless to say, the LPM staff was there with few exceptions and in rare form. (Curtis graciously babysat so Amanda could come without a preschooler and a toddler who would have added considerable color and volume to the whole affair). Both Diane and Kimberly on our staff were bridesmaids alongside other close loved ones of Vangie’s. Both of them bawled their heads off during the ceremony. It was emotional for all of us because we’ve all been on hand every single day of this sweet romance since their Sunday school teacher, Lisa Weir (also a good friend of ours), introduced them at our church last year. Our Vangie had held out for the right man for 20 years of adulthood and I don’t mind saying it paid off.
Nancy, another of our LPM sisters and my close friend of 20 years, did a Scripture reading so she was sitting on the pew beside me, right by the piano. (Do you guys like these kinds of details?? Sorry if you don’t. You can proceed right to the pictures if you’re rocking back and forth with frustration.) Right before I went onto the platform to speak over the couple, Nancy leaned over to me and said, “We’ve done a lot of things together at LPM but this one may have to be at the very top.”
I looked at her and said, “Yes, indeed.” This was the first time we had actually ever married someone off. Michelle (AKA Hawk) better run for her life before we start thinking we’re on a roll. I told you several weeks ago in the greeting where I introduced the bride that we made up hand motions to “All About Vangie.” And, yes, we did them 100 times at the wedding. That morning, all of us traded texts that had just three letters in them: “AAV!” I don’t think it would be all that hard to change the hand motions from AAV to AAM. Be afraid, Michelle. Be very, very afraid.
OK, OK, I’ll shut up and let you see some pictures Amanda snapped at the wedding for our LPM photo library. She didn’t take many so she wouldn’t impose on the professional photographer but I think you’ll enjoy the ones we have.
I’m thinking she must have taken this one before the ceremony while everybody was waiting and I was already in the Greenroom with Vangie. This is my man and our Bible study/event coordinator Jennifer Hamm’s man, respectively Keith and Chad. Yes, Keith has on Wranglers. He wore Wranglers to Melissa’s reception, too. Vangie didn’t care. She loves that Keith Moore.
This was one of the best wedding cakes I’ve ever tasted. I didn’t get a chance to ask Vangie who baked it. She was pretty busy.
The foyer at our church had been transformed for the reception into Vintage Vangie. Her good taste was everywhere. Honestly, I’ve never seen the foyer more beautiful. Everything was either white, black or hot pink. Here are some goodies:
A little wider shot so you can get the idea:
Yours truly with the bride and groom! I love them both so much. (That’s a side clip of sorts if you’re wondering what’s going on with my hair. I tried something new. Not sure it works out of the context. Maybe not even in it. If you weren’t wondering, forget that I brought that up. It was otherwise a very Spiritual evening.)
The B and G cutting that gorgeous cake:
Vangie and Lisa Weir.
Stunning Bride.
Living Proof Staff with the Bride. Again. It’s ALL. ABOUT. VANGIE.
Vangie and Darren are off on their honeymoon in San Diego for the week. You can imagine how abuzz LPM will be when she gets back to us. She only had one request of us when she left: “Don’t talk about anything fun till I get back!”
Oh, Vangie. We talked about something fun today all right. We talked about YOU. We just can’t help ourselves. We’re AAV.
precious! I was hoping there would be an update like this when the big day finally came, and Beth – I loved all the details. 🙂
those were really great pictures and i am so happy for your sweet Vangie! it was a beautiful wedding judging by the photographs.
your hair always rocks sweet Beth. No matter what you do, it looks great. you definitely were blessed with some mighty fine hair!
praying for you as always. say a prayer for me please, as i have something going on with me that needs some healing! i need some stirrin’ of the waters in my pool of Bethesda….
love to you,
Beth Herring
Congratulations to the bride and groom! Judging from the pictures, it was indeed a beautiful wedding.
And from one single to another – RUN, MICHELLE, RUN!!!
There is no good answer to the question, “When are you going to get a man?”
Hey Anne
I loved your commment I am single to
ALL OF US SINGLE’S NEED TO RUN
LOL
Hsve a good day
Carol
Oh yes there is! The answer is, when GOD brings him! : )
You and I were on the same page girlfriend!
I like anyone who says “Don’t talk about anything fun until I get back”! I would totally say that.
And I LOVE Lisa Weir. She is the principal for my childrens middle school … and once when I came to an Esther Live, you prayed for the school administrators, teachers, etc. and you called her by name. That was the week my oldest started middle school … and when you prayed for Lisa by name I felt like the Lord was saying … “I’ve got it covered girl … you’re baby is gonna be all right.”
PS I LOVED that story. Congrats to Vangie and Darren!
Lisa is an incredible person on so many levels. The school system is blessed indeed to have her. I have great respect and love for her. Thanks for picking up on that, Darla!
Darla has said that to ME many times!
Our oldest are the same age and thus entered middle school at the same time. We both were fairly anxious about this new milestone that our children were about to step on and I specifically remember her telling me about you (Beth) praying over the school administrators and about Lisa. Though you prayed for Houston kids and schools I felt like the prayer covered us in Dallas, too! 🙂 Isn’t it great that the Lord would use a few words in a prayer in Houston on a Tuesday night to bring an ounce of assurance to a mom in Dallas!? Of course, He has used more than a few of your words to teach me and so many others over the years! Incidentally, those same kids are starting high school in about 3 weeks. We could use another installment of that same prayer!
I guess there really isn’t much point to this post other than I ran across it after reading about Vangie’s wedding (beautiful!…I like your side clip, by the way!) and felt like I had to chime in. Darla and I have always said that we need to run into you sometime and beg you to have a Diet Coke and conversation with us. We’d have a great time! Now, I feel like we have!
I love great stories! and God has given me one also. My first husband died four years ago of cancer at age 36. We were married for 8 years and he was sick for the last 5. I was six weeks pregnant when he was diagnosed. Okay, now for the good part! Since his death, God has brought ministry into my life – women’s ministry at FBC Denton. And almost finished a seminary degree to boot! This summer in the midst of a crazy summer school schedule, I was expected to attend a family wedding that I simply didn’t have time for but attended for fear of my mother-in-love. Guess what? I meet someone there! He is a widower of cancer also, a great man of God who attended the seminary across town, and is madly in love with me! We are going to get married in August in San Antonio and blend our families together. He is an amazing dad and a mighty fine man. (Wears wranglers, boot, cowboy hat, and raises German short hair pointers… sound familiar?) I’m moving from DFW to Amarillo and God is completely organizing the whole event! Today, God blessed us with a buyer for my house (even in this terrible market), the next door neighbor popped in to say that we are having a street yard sale on Saturday (needing to sell furniture), then I received a phone call from the cancer center to say that they would be sending a truck down our street to pick up in donations that I might have. Can you guess when they are coming? A couple days after the yard sale. My whole last month has been just this way. The Lord is pouring out His unashamed favor on us day after day!! I can’t believe it! I was too afraid to hope for love again. I just couldn’t risk the hurt of wanting to be loved. And God has blessed me with a man that is perfectly suited for me – perfectly. I just can’t believe it. He is too good! God, what have I ever done to deserve your favor like this? Bless you! One last piece of goodies… my new last name? Miracle… I’m going to be DLynn Miracle.
Absolutely LOVE this! 🙂
Kristi
Love your story! 🙂
So sweet! I love your new last name!!
Congratulations, and I also love your new last name.
Patti Hayes
DLynn,
God writes THE best stories, ever!! Thanks for sharing the one He has written all over you! Loved every detail (and I’m sure there are more to come). Thank you, Jesus, for you are faithful!
xoxo, rene
Dear Rene,
I didn’t get to say Thank You for your words about my hubby coming home from Iraq. What you said was perfect. Thanks for the encouragement.
Hugs,
Michelle….3 More Days.
So like our God – isn’t it? I got real sad for you as I read the beginning but then came the end of of the story and our Lord does write happily ever after stories. Congrats!!!
You deserve every bit of it because you are a child of HIS! I love how you recognize that all of these blessings are straight from him! Congratulations on this next journey!
Absolutely amazing! God bless you both!
I love your story too! God is goooood!
DLynn,
Do you by chance know Chad & Wendy Brooks and their precious babies Garrett & Bailey. They are our cousins and we came to their wedding several years ago at FBC Denton – my little Emily was their flower girl. We live in Ponder. Your story is amazing – almost gives me hope for my kiddos and me (but not quite since I’m quite a bit older than you :-)). Wishing you many more Blessings as you begin your new adventure!
Oh GOODNESS!!! This was incredible to read. Thank you LORD for your favor towards my ‘Miracle sister.’ HE is the GOD who SEES… Genesis 16:13 She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” 14 That is why the well was called Beer Lahai Roi.
Thank you for sharing and blessing us with the proof of GOD’S LOVE and FAVOR once again.
What a special day for Vangie and LPM. Beth, I like your hair fixed like that. Kind of brings out your eyes. Thanks for sharing the special day.
Jan
I am so, so sad I missed her wedding!! I was thinking about her all day on Saturday and am so thrilled that you had pictures to post! This day has definitely been anticipated for a long time. I think the entire resource volunteer crew has cheered her on from the moment she and Darren said hello. Love you Evangeline!!
A~A~V!!
You keep showing off that handsome man of yours, Mama Beth, wranglers and all!
Michelle; you will be assimulated.
Resistance is futile.
Congrats Darren & Vangie … May your life together continue to be be knit together by our Lords love, wisdom and grace.

And you KNOW we want to see your wedding hair!
Love this story as it is AAG — all about God. He is sooo awesome! Rejoicing for Vangie and her man today and will pray for God to give them great wisdom and courage as they embark on this adventure together. I, too, waited for my Boaz until age 41. I am very glad that I waited. I have a group of praying ladies that served with me at a Christian school for many years — so I know that Michelle is in good hands with the LPM staff in her corner. Praying for her today as well.
Thank you for sharing about how long you waited! As a single woman who’s not exactly “right out of college” anymore, I needed to hear that!
like it. me too!
praying for you, my sister!!! 🙂
Well I LOVED the details!!! What a love story they have! LOVE it.
And thank you Amanda for getting a picture of the cake. Wedding cake is just about my favorite dessert. 🙂
Blessings!
stephanie
Thank you so much for sharing. AAV was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
Many happy years to the new couple.
Thanks so much for sharing the delightful details and pics from your fast-paced weekend!
I would not trade my men for anything in this world, but let’s just say that living with 3 of them (husband and 2 sons) for 20+ years has made it clear that a woman needs girlfriends in her life! Men — at least, MY men — are NOT into details and it used to drive me crazy. But I found that daily pouring my heart out to God (I learned that from you, Beth!) and occasional 3-hour lunches with one of my girl friends keeps my desire for details satisfied.
I have to tell you that there is one friend I see about once a month, and between visits we each keep a running list of things to talk about when we get together. If anyone observes us checking items off our lists as we barely touch our meal, they probably think we’re conducting some serious business! HA!
Ms. Beth, I have had the privilege of participating in a number of your Bible studies, seeing you in person in 2005 at a Women of Faith conference, and attending your SIL simulcast. Next month I’ll be bringing my 2 younger sisters to see you in Richmond. It is their first women’s conference and I can’t wait to see what God has in store! Even now, I am praying for God’s anointing over you and His protection as you travel, and asking to Him to prepare each of our hearts to receive His transforming Word.
What a beautiful wedding! And what a wonderful thing that she waited until the perfect man God had picked out for her appeared. I’ll have to share this blog post with a good friend of mine who is getting discouraged about the whole “not being married” thing.
Well, this post just brought tears to my single girl heart. Imagine how much it meant to Vangie that it was all about her — all of you, all about her. That is precious and I really do think I’m going to cry now. Love can and does sometimes wait, doesn’t it?
Yes, Amy Beth. It surely can and does. God will be so faithful to you.
The best part is that, in my earlier years, I would have thought that Him being faithful to me would have been Him giving me what I wanted (or thought I needed). As I’ve grown up, I’ve learned that God being faithful to me doesn’t mean I get my way. That very line alone is enough to make me want to sob — what if He had allowed me to get my way all these times that I thought I knew what was best for me? I cannot imagine what a terrible mess I would be in today. Thank God that His faithfulness is just that — HIS. I prefer His ways, not mine. If His ways mean remaining as single as a slice of cheese for the next twenty years of my adulthood, than I think I can trust Him with those years, just as I would be trusting Him with those years if I was married.
(Actually, truth be told, I probably trust Him better as a singleton than I would if I was married. My attention is easily swayed, dang it. The good thing about a dry dating life is that you really don’t have as many distractions. Much easier to stay focused on what matters, Him.)
I know, dang it! I think that is such a valid point. I want to be the woman of GOD that I am meant to be and then…my Papa will pick out my ‘Help meet.’
GOD’S way is THE WAY we’d choose if we saw all that was involved!
I love weddings…especially those orchestraed by Jesus 🙂 Thanks for sharing pics and all the details, love it! Your hair looked great, as usual. Blessings to the new couple.
Woot! I love a good love story and a happy beginning.
Love weddings! Especially ones that the happy couple are God loving and serving people. Congrats to the happy newlyweds. Loved Vangie in the video, she just makes you want to be best friends with her…such a sweet spirit. San Diego will be a welcome treat weather wise from Houston!!! Love So. CA, and so fortunate to live here!! Doing the Revelation study..just had our class last night…so much to try and wrap your mind around. Thank you so much for your studies Beth…I am learning so, so, so much. You are in my prayers as one of the things I am thankful for.
How precious!
I am so glad you shared all the details and pictures. What a beautiful wedding.
Congratulations to Vangie & Darren. Vangie, you looked so beautiful and happy.
How sweet & encouraging that you waited 20 years & God sent the perfect mate.
Love to all!
Oh, what a beautiful bride and groom! Congradulations Vangie and Darren! May God bless you.
(Love the bright pink color on the table and wonderful wedding cake.) What a talent to be able to decorate cakes.
Next time you are in Dallas let us know, Ms. Beth we might come see you all the way from Lawton, Oklahoma
only about a four hour drive. You know that is one of
my goals before I ever kick the bucket is to go to a
Women’s Conference and especially hear you speak from
the Word of God. At least, that is what I am praying
for. (LOL) I know we would just love it.
Next month, we
start you Esther Bible study. I feel like the Lord is
really leading this and I am so excited. The questions in
the teacher’s book I type them over and add pictures with them for example “a table set for povidence” I added
a table setting picture, then wrote out the questions we
will be going over for that chapter to give to each lady, so she can keep them for future reference.
Hopefully, we will have a party fit for a queen as well.
Keep us in prayer. I’ve watched you DVD’s on Esther thrice ha! Learn something new every time.
Love the fact that you husband wore blue jeans. Makes me
feel right at home. Love you dress too. Isn’t God good!
Oh, and you hair looks great. Everyone look gorious in the Lord.
Sorry, for my Boo-Boo’s and the way I typed this.
Lord, forgive me. I should stop while I am ahead.
Hey Joyce,
A bunch of us from Lawton are going to OKC to see Beth at the simulcast. We would love to have you join us. It is not as good as her being there but almost! It is an all day event on the 18th of September. Let me know if you want to join us. I have the sign up from the church that is hosting it. Email me at [email protected] or call me at 580-917-1111.

Aww, wedding details!:) I loved them:) Evangeline was beautiful and they looked happy! I loved the new hairdo too Siesta Mama Beth, cuteness:) That was funny, be afraid Michelle, AAM:):)
I hope Vangie and Darren are enjoying their time is San Diego, we have had unseaonably cool weather with some AM clouding at the beach….hopefully they are sleeping evening and enjoying the mild evenings. All the best!
What a lovely wedding. Congrats Darren & Vangie. I love to see 2 people who love the Lord get married. That is how God intended it to be.
Remember back when the hokey pokey was what it was all about?
You put your ha-ir up
Your put your cl-ip in
You put the spray on so it doesn’t move a bit
You do the Vangie-Vangie and you turn yourself around
That’s what it’s all about!
AAV!
and of course when you turn yourself around, you’re just checking to make sure that side looks good too!
Great chuckle! Thanks Michele.
Amen!
ha! ha! this is great!
I love wedding details! I think it is so precious how close you all are at LPM. Thanks for sharing the pictures. God bless Vangie and Darren and LPM!
Man. She is so blessed and lucky to have all of you girls behind her! You are such a darling community and I love how you support her!
And the hair looked wonderful. I just had to say it. Hair can be spiritual. Right? 🙂
Truly Spiritual! The LORD’S creation is something to enjoy, all joking aside…I am so thankful for the WORKS of HIS HAND!
(You have cute hair, Lemonade makin mama – and I love the hat)
Awesome! Cinderella, eat your heart out. I’m glad you cleared up that “Hawk” issue. I guess I’m a late comer, and up until now, I didn’t realize Hawk was a woman. I thought he was that tall bodyguard I saw in Chattanooga a few years ago.
We have a Hawk in our church, and he’s about well, let’s just say several pounds of pure Indian man. His mom’s name is White Feather. No kiddin.
I do like your do. It looks sassy. Was that what you were goin for? (grin)
Bless you, Dear Lady. Thanks for all the visuals, especially for us visual aid needy people.
In Christ,
Carol
That’s pretty cool. I’m part Indian so on particularly long road trips, my dad took to calling me Princess Running Water. Go figure.
Sounds like you all are having a wonderful time. The wedding was beautiful! Thank you for sharing your pics Melissa. Congrats to Vangie!
Lawan
WOW…that was a pretty wedding, and Vangie sweetie, you were beautiful.
They foyer in your church…oh my goodness, I think it is the same size as my whole church. ha-ha
Congrats Vangie, we all in Siestaville are very happy for you.
Beautiful bride! And what a wonderful group of friends she has. Loved hearing all the details!
To All The Seistas here in Seistaville……………
It’s my Birthday…no not my physical B’day……….
It’s my spiritual B’day.
33 yrs of knowing my Jesus.
ha-ha- :0)
Hi Beth,
What a beautiful post about your dear Vangie and her wedding. I love the thought of your staff being so close and connected.
Just found out that I’ll be joining a Beth Moore study at a local church in the Fall, yipee! We’ll be doing “Living Beyond Yourself” which is one of yours I have not done before.
Have a wonderful day!
What a beautiful description of Love. Thank you for sharing!!
Love the story and the details!!
Congratulations Vangie!
~Kristin
Hi Beth,
I KNOW THIS IS LONG AND I’M SORRY, but I hope you’ll read it anyway!
When you girls are about to bust next week waiting for Vangie to get back to talk about anything fun, and when she finally gets back, please pass along my congratulations. As always, thanks for sharing the pictures. I loved every picture and every detail. I’m six years into the process of attempting to write a novel so I’m all about details and that brings me to the point of this comment. Often when I leave a comment, I edit the heart right out of it. I love words and I love to turn beautiful phrases, but my intent today is to encourage you. This is related to your last post and I hope that’s okay and I also hope you’ll hear my heart and not give up on me getting to the point. What I’m saying is that I’ll try to keep the details to a minimum and try to keep this concise, but I may not succeed. Your comment about physical pain possibly being your trust from God right now really resonated with me and brought to mind one of my Scripture memory passages from last year. Philippians 3:10-12 (AMP) I’ve heard you teach on this passage before so I will not dare to presume that I’m telling you anything that’s not already rooted and grounded in your heart, but when I hear of a believer suffering physical pain it always triggers the thought of an opportunity few of us will ever have to embrace and identify with the physical suffering of our Savior. Another favorite verse of mine is Habakkuk 3:19 (AMP) [I love the Amplified version, can you tell?] and for these two years, I’ve been going back and forth between the high places of trouble, suffering, and responsibility, but as yet none of these difficult days have involved physical pain. Until now, I’ve had a very limited definition of suffering, confining it to feeling physical pain. I have learned that I may not suffer in the exact same manner Christ suffered, but when He does call me to suffer, I am to have the same attitude that He had when He suffered. The more I embrace and identify in His suffering, the more I’m conformed to His image and the more power His resurrection exerts over me. I have to confess, some days I embrace, other days I endure, but every day I’m thankful for His grace. Two final thoughts, Beth. One, I pray for you and yours daily because God often brings you to mind. And two, as a beloved Bible teacher of mine, I hope you will feel completely free to correct me if anything I’ve said is not Biblically accurate because I’d rather have my eye teeth yanked out with a pair of pliers than to lead another astray.
Much love to all of you, and again, my congratulations to Vangie and Darren.
Patti Hayes
Lutz, Florida
Patti,
Loved what you had to say…I get it. I know I am not Beth replying (DUH), but I just wanted to say I read it all, and am thankful for your insight.
xoxo, rene
ps. I’ve got a bro that’s an oral surgeon and have seen my share of gross stuff in the mouth. Pretty sure those eye teeth being yanked out with pliers would NOT be a pretty sight!! : )
Hi Rene,
I apologize for the graphic imagery, but not for my intense desire to be accountable. Here I am talking about turning beautiful phrases and then end with such a gross word picture. Sorry about that.
Patti
patti,
no, no…. I was just enjoying the play on words and imagining such a thing! it was all good : ) xoxo, rene
The wedding story is so sweet. I love hearing about weddings. They take so long to prepare for and are over in a day. The bride looks so happy. I love the jeans. Great idea.
And a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our lovely BETH. She is on the cover of Christianity Today magazine. Beth, your hair looks really good on the cover. (Although I like the peacock affect). You look great wherever you are sweet mama. Women Want Moore is the story focus on the magazine. I hope everyone can find a copy.
Love you Beth,
Rebecca
Rebecca, thank you for letting us know about Christianity Today’s article on Beth. I will be sure to pick up a copy ASAP.
So much love for a girlfriend! Is there nothing better.
Thanks so much for sharing. Congrats to the Bride and Groom.
I cannot stop giggling! AAV, hahahahah teeeheeehee! So funny!
God bless this new marriage! Wow! Sweet story!
What a beautiful bride. Congrats!!
Thank you so much for this much needed encouragement and hope! I’m single and about Vangie’s age, I think. Also, thank you Lyli, for your encouraging comment and to all the others as well. I am SO blessed, but there is definitely a “Hannah-type” hole in my heart for a family of my own. I really needed this blog, with the lovely pictures, today!
Praying for you!!! 🙂
Thanks-that means a lot!
Dear Beth,
I hope I did not embarrasse you with commenting on the cover magazine. I was so excited I ran from the mailbox to the computer, just so HAPPY for you. Now I am thinking maybe I embarrassed you and that is the last thing I want to do. You have done so much for me through this blog. I am sure getting test results last week would not have been as bearable if I had not been in contact with the other siestas. Please excuse me if it was wrong.
I am so glad you are a friend…..Rebecca
OK, this time I have to reply. Of course I’m not Beth either,(duh:) right, rene?) but I’m running out tomorrow and getting me a copy. From a fellow siesta, thanks for the heads up. Sweetie, if she’s got her lovely face plastered on the front of a magazine cover, why would an endearing comment like yours embarrass her? And I’m praying your test results remain more than bearable.
Blessings.
Thank you for answering Kathy B.
You know how it is when you think you are sharing great news and no one notices. 🙁 That old insecurity thing!!!
But at the same time I didn’t want to hurt Beth.
I do hope you can get the magazine. Inside are full page pictures of her.
I wonder why Beth never told us!!!. She is too modest.
Rebecca
Oh, Rebecca, you did not embarrass me one single bit! I was off yesterday and was not the one moderating comments. That’s why I didn’t respond. All of you on here are so dear to me.
Congrats Angie – you are a beautiful bride. Thanks Beth for filling us on every little bit of detail. Love it.
Stunning does not even begin to describe the bride.
A.A.V.
AAV!!!! Congratulations Vangie!!! What a wonderful story and beautiful wedding! Have I said I love being a part of Siestaville? well, I DO!!
Love it! Love it! Love it!
Congrats, Vangie!
Mazel Extra Tov!
love, Warm in Alaska
Oh my goodness…love it, love it, love it!!!!!
I’m all about a good chick flick and it looks like LPM has been living a real one! Congratulations to Vangie and Darren ~~ may God bless you so very much.
That cake table is to die for! I love the fabric and colors. The black and white underskirt with the hot pink over lay- that has to be one of the prettiest tables.
I love wedding cake and punch; and if there are dinner mints and nuts, I am just over the moon!
