Precious video! Count your blessings, you big-haired women. I've lost more hair than I can count through a thyroid condition, but praise God it's coming back–layer by layer. LOL! Your study is really resonating with me, Jennifer. I think the "thought closet" approach is a wonderful and week 4 has helped me understand more how I have let some thoughts into my closet without examining them to see if they are really mine or the enemy's. May God richly bless your ministry.

…and when you talk hair, you get all our attention! I was born with big hair and only when I lived in a desert was it straight! We recently moved back to Texas and in this 100+ degree weather I'm learning how to use a flatiron. I must say tho I do plan to try a few of your ideas!!

Thank you for sending a personal message to us! You have such a sweet, sweet spirit and I can see Jesus all over your precious face!! I am really getting a lot out of this study–thank you for writing it. There are 3 of us in my group–the other two are mother and teenage daughter. This is her first "adult" type study and it is so precious to see her enjoying digging in God's Word. Her mom says she can't wait to do another one!! We are meeting weekly because we just have so much to talk about–God is so amazing!
Jennifer, you are an inspiration to me. I have family members with the same eye disease. It is evident through your testimony that God works all things for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose.

I am definetly a "flatten it" girl.
My 10 year old son enjoyed the frozen vegetable idea. I think he is plundering the freezer right now.
Thank you for your words of encouragement. But mostly, thank you for this Bible study. I didn't even know I needed it but boy did I.
Things are beginning to sound a lot different in my thought closet and I've become very aware of the roaring lion and I don't plan on listening to him anymore.

As soon as you started talking about having "too big" of hair, I immediately reached over and grabbed my bible study book to see if it told me where you were from, because I knew you could not be from Texas! As I understand it, not being from Texas, but just hearing about it, that there is no such thing as hair that is "too big". Love you, Jennifer.

Thank you so much for writing this study – it is profoundly impacting both me and the friend who is doing it with me. I actually had dinner with my mother tonight and told her about it, and she made sure to get the name of the study so that she could buy the book for herself, too. I told my mom tonight that I've already found myself taking my thoughts captive more quickly and feeling less a slave to my FEELINGS and more freed up by the truth of God's Word – and that is just in this short time. Thank you for your trust in and faithfulness to Jesus. Thank you for loving Him and us enough to minister to us in this way. And thank you for this wonderful video today, too. What a gift! The Lord bless you a hundred-fold for the labor of love you have offered to us. His Word will not return void!

I can relate to your hair issue – I've had MAJOR big hair all my life. Funny thing for me is that nowadays I flatten out the frizzies & fluff with a flat iron as much as possible, then I put a few hot rollers back in the top to "bump it" back up slightly. I want it smooth but I still got to have that 'big' on top. Aren't we a mess?! hehe 🙂

Thanks for the video- your sold out passion to love what you do and serve God brings tremendous joy to my soul. A group and I finished the study in May – it won't soon leave our memories.

I love Jennifer! I remember seeing her on Praise the Lord when Kirk Cameron was hosting and I just felt my soul calm as I heard her communicate. While doing this study, I realized why. She is at peace so, she causes others to be at peace…a true peacemaker as the Bible calls us to be.

It's so nice to hear from you Jennifer. I've been blessed and challenged by this study. I'm a little behind and need to catch up but more importantly I want to be sure I'm understanding what I'm learning to really apply it too my life. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony and life with us.
I myself live with Spina Bifida. I've had days where I just wanna quit, but I know this is my unchangeable lable that I need to use to help people see what Christ can do through me.

Sweet sweet Jennifer I love you – you are in my Fav 5 🙂 Your books have ministered to me and encouraged me in dark times – you are a wonderful mentor along with Beth in my life. For many years I have been a tad bit jealous of those women who have had a mentor in their lives – I have asked for a women to walk along side of me in life and ministry but it has never happened – so I just kept on doing my thing. Well as I look back on this past decade – I see two women who have walked along side of me in life and ministry – who have shared my darkest moments and my highest mountains – who have sat with me and opened the Word to me and have spoken truth into my life – and who have taught me – you and Beth – you are rock-stars in my eyes – I just wish that I could hug your skin – thanks for putting so much into my life. I love you both dearly.

I love the frozen vegetables idea!!! I am going through menopause and the hot flashes just keep coming! So what a cool way to cool off!.
Love the Bible study and I am being convicted weekly on some of my issues and growing closer to my savior and refuge daily.
That was so fun. I was just thinking how blessed I am to have stumbled on this blog a year ago. It is full of God's word, encouragement and lots of fun. Where else do you find out about "flatten it" or "bump it".

In our blog group for your study, there are 2 moms who have 9 and 10 year old daughters doing this study with us! Isnt' that awesome?
Well, this week, while I was a sponsor at a youth camp, one of the girls in my family group, pulled my MM&L workbook out from where I had it inside a binder and started looking at it.
I think I might try facilitating your study for teenage girls. Let me know if you happen to adapt a study specifically for younger girls.

So nice to "meet" you via the blog! I confess I haven't done any of your studies yet, but this one is most certainly one that God is using in my life in a big way! What you said about letting my weaknesses refine me is something that I'm realizing God wants to do in me. He is refining me to make me come forth purified with genuine faith. Also, thinking about who I am in Him instead of how I feel about myself is critical for me. I have to operate out of my "new creation" self instead of the old flesh nature. Being dead to sin, and alive to Christ! Bless your heart Jennifer! I think the Lord is doing a new thing in all of us who are taking this study:) Siestaville welcomes you!:)

Jennifer! You are such a delight and your study is such a huge blessing! I have another idea to "Flatten It" – my teenager uses a snow/ski cap. We have no other real use for them in hot central Texas but the ski cap works to Flatten his fluffy wavy hair.
