    Christine Roskamp says:

    Beth,

You were so right last night as none of us, I feel, wanted this study to end yet. My Siesta study buddies are all going to frame our property deeds and cherish them always as a hands on visual reminder that makes us smile and know our true inheritance. Thank you so much for them. We all signed each others on the witness line since we shared in the incredible experience.
We also just swear our seats were bugged because every single lesson, exactly what we had been discussing presented itself in your words verbatum. We all would look over at each other and inquire, “Was Beth sitting here earlier?” It got to be so frequent we would keep a count going. God was truly whipping around and wanted our questions answered and our statements in dialogue affrimed.
Do you know the lady who made the pink t-shirt you received early on? I told my buddies I would inquire cause we we wondering where to get one. It was great.

We are all so looking forward to the next study as you not only saw but heard the excitement ringing from the rafters.

We love you Beth as much as you love us.

Much love and many blessings. Prayers offered up for your safe trip and powerful Godly ministry on the sweet lives of ministers wives this weekend.

I so badly wish I could have been there, I loved seeing all the women just there, taking time out of their lives because it meant more than anything. I love that.

I know that you could only do this kind of ongoing study because it’s in Houston and that is where you live; I’m just saying if you wanted to speak one weekend in Capistrano Beach, Ca, you would be MORE THAN WELCOME!!!

Blessings to you in Him, who never stresses nor guesses,

Thanks Debra for sharing with those of us who do not live close enough to attend to see what we are missing. I was so hoping to catch a week during spring break next week only to find it ended this Tuesday. It just makes me that more excited for Deeper Still in December (only 277 more days!!) I can hardly wait. I have been so blessed with our tiny Bible study here in Kansas, I can’t even fathom that many sisters in one room being and receiving that blessing. Beth you are amazing. It never ceases to amaze me that a group can all attend the same study and get out of it just what they need. God is way cool!
Enjoy the break. Your team will be in my prayers this weekend as you minister to ministers wives.

I so wish that I could have been there. Before all of the siestas outside of Houston start gasping, I had to be at home with my family right now. My children had to adjust (and are stil adjusting, I sent my teen out the door today crying, Lord have mercy) to our move and me and my husband had been separated for a long time with him traveling back and forth, weekly from WV to Houston. We’ve done this before, but this time caused a huge strain on our marriage. I could not afford to be gone for one night. Things are getting better now. I’m hoping to have my hands on a puppy soon and all will be well. That is, if I pass the breeder’s test.

Siesta Christine Roskamp invited me to come, but after meeting our family, she knew why I could not. I used to get the notes on the study (CLEAR THROAT–HA HA).

God-willing, I will definitely be at the next one. This country girl zips around Houston quite often with no problem. I actually get lost more in Katy than I ever have in Houston. It’s fun driving around Houston. When I go to college on Saturday mornings, it seems that I am passing First Baptist in no time.

You know when you live in a place and never take advantage of the local wonders? Like, I did not go whitewater rafting until I was about 20 and I lived 15 min. from Fayetteville…well, I am NOT going to do that here. I am all over Texas. I am coming to a Beth Moore study. The only way I won’t come is if we have moved again and it won’t matter b/c I’ll be in the looney bin by then and I’m not joking.

The video looked awesome and Beth, your outfit was too cute! I know it was such an awesome study b/c Christine has been keeping me informed. Plus, you and Jesus always have awesome studies.

    Still, wish I could’ve been there…

LOVED this study! Oh my goodness, what a blessing you are Miss Beth. I went home and showed my husband my property deed – and told him that I was framing it. I have really been playing up my “Heiress” title to him for the past nine-ish weeks, so he got a kick out of my proof. I told him not to be jealous though; he’s an official heir after all.
I love Jesus! He just jazzes me!

    Jennifer Gaddis says:

I am a pastor’s wife in Kentucky and will be attending the Minister’s Wives Conference this weekend in Nashville. I am desperate for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit in my life! So many times we give of ourselves, but without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit going before us giving us the strength we need to serve we find ourselves empty…wiped out..dry! I love Jesus and I want so desperately to find wisdom and knowledge through His word. Some things that I ask you to pray for in my life…busyness, being overwhelmed as a mother, a wife, a pastor’s wife, a friend, a leader in our church, etc. I find myself as a middle 30’s mom of 3, and pastor’s wife feeling overwhelmed and drained a lot of the time. There are many other hats that I wear, but lately my heart, my attitude and my mind are just not where they need to be. I sense the conviction of the Holy Spirit in my life. I am so overwhelmingly blessed! I acknowledge that it all comes from God! I appreciate so much the opportunity to be in Nashville this weekend with all of you as well as my girlfriends who are also minister’s wives. We have had a prayer time this morning and are expecting God to do an amazing work in our lives this weekend! We are praying for all of you as you labor in preparing your hearts to share God’s message with us this weekend and we are praying that the Holy Spirit of God is unleashed that He might penetrate the hearts of every woman there to the extreme that our passion for the Lord intensifies to the max!!! Thank you ahead of time for giving of yourselves to minister to us! To God be the glory, great things He has done!!! Love and Blessings,Jennifer

Darn it! I so want to live close to enough to join y’all (had to say it that way) on a Tuesday night Bible study! I do get to see Mama Siesta on video every week (we’ve done so many of her studies in the last three years!) but there is something to be said for “Live”. Cannot wait for June and Stockton!!!!!!!

I just have to ask – Siesta Dori and Mama Siesta have often mentioned “root lifter”. How is this different from gel or mousse??? I had never even heard of that . . .I couldn’t will “lift” into my hair. The best I can do to jazz up my locks is to add highlights (and oh how I love them!).

Anyhow, I am so off topic. I am SO glad that there was a great group of Siestas blessed yet again by what Mama Siesta shared. Thank you for being obedient and using your gift.

Wow, I so hope this study will be on a DVD soon. Psalm 16:5-6 was in my devotional a few weeks ago and had been on my mind ever since. Part of it said “…but we forget to eat the grass of our own field. In doing so, we stay hungry while missing the beauty and provision of God within our fence…”
I would so love to hear what the Lord inspired Beth to teach.
