An Update on Bethie

I’m sorry y’all – it’s me again! I’m here to give you a little update on the Siesta Mama. She has been b-u-s-y! My mom told me that God was so faithful throughout the taping last weekend and that she absolutely loved the audience. I think everything went as well as possible. Thank you so much for praying! Monday and Tuesday were spent focused on Bible study. Our fall study is going great, but it does take a ton of preparation time for her and Melissa (who flies in to co-teach every other week). Wednesday was recovery day. She worked a half-day and then went home to rest. On Thursday she had a taping for the National Day of Prayer.

Today my parents are driving out to the ranch, where Beth is going to prepare the messages for next week’s “New England Nights” tour. It’s going to be such a neat week! I’m not going, but I hope to be able to keep you all updated as much as I can. Are any of you attending? The four events will be in Vermont, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Connecticut.

After next week, Living Proof Live will have had the great privilege of serving in all 50 states in 10 years! Isn’t that cool? God, You are awesome! It is an indescribable blessing to get to witness what God is doing in every part of this country. You know, people can throw out some seriously depressing statistics about the state of the church in America, but we KNOW God is moving among women and changing their lives through His Word. We have seen it and are seeing it with our own eyes! He is not done with us, ladies. God’s Word is alive and active in us and we are believing Him! Amen?

Amen and amen. I pray God’s presence upon Beth this week as she prepares to minister and as she seeks the Word. I love how you call her Bethie! My name is Beth and my girls call me that also. You are such a sweet thing and so refreshing! I love your Jackson stories. My grandkids love candy corn and Elijah, who is 3, calls them triangles.

    Have a great weekend.

Yes! I will be going to Delaware, and my 19 y.o. daughter Nanette has agreed to go with me! GLORY TO GOD! There will be a bunch of ladies from Mt. Vernon Mennonite and Change of Pace South bible study there too! It is going to be an awesome time in the Lord! I haven’t been in a meeting with Beth since Hershey and the Lord really moved then, too. I have to travel about 1.25 hrs. Chris in PA

Praise you Lord! Let your mom know we will be praying for her!

It is nothing short of miraculous what the Lord has done in the lives of millions of women and men across this country and across this world through the last ten years of the Living Proof ministry!

I know I am among many who can say “I am a life that was changed” because of this ministry!

Thank you Lord and thank everyone connected with LPM!

    Love to you all!

Just gotta tell you we can’t wait to see her next week. We’ve been waiting a year to see her again. I am taking two other ladies and we will be in NH on Tuesday night and are planning to be in CT on Friday. The only sadness is that it is only one night. But we are thrilled. We will give her a great welcome. We are greatful to get whatever we can. This is a dark, cold place, “frozen chosen”. Beth is a breath of fresh air. Those of us who do her studies just love her. We love being a part of this blog as it makes us feel we are part of the family. The cheerleaders behind the curtain.
God bless all you do and keeping us close.

The “Circle Sisters” from Delaware are thrilled to have Beth on “our turf” October 16th !! We last saw her in Colorado Springs last May, when we flew out and “kidnapped” our dear sister in Christ, Michelle, to take her to the Living Proof Live conference. She was completely shocked to see us, and even more shocked when Beth read Lonna’s letter in her introductory session Friday night and promptly came down to meet us!!

We look forward to the word the Lord will speak through Beth here. We are praying for a powerful anointing on her and the transforming of lives throughout that arena. May He prepare hearts to hear the knowledge He wants to impart to each one of us attending.

By the way, in preparing for our church’s upcoming Women’s retreat, one of our sisters viewed session 8of “Believing God”,entitled, “Believing God to Get to Your Gilgal.” While we had done the study a year before we became the “Circle Sisters” (so named because on the trip back from your West Virginia conference in 2006 our group of 9 convened at a truck stop and promptly formed a large prayer circle in the parking lot in driving rain to combat the enemy’s attacks on us all and our families), we had forgotten that Gilgal means “circle.” So with that said, we bid you farewell with our new name…

Much love in Christ… the GilGals

Amen! God is Awesome. Just today, I was in a pickle… because I had this certain thing all planned out and wonderful… but then, half of it crumbled.

The Lord was so sweet, He revealed His faithfulness and calmed some of my stress.

Amen! For sure!! Have a great day Amanda!

    Stephanie's Mommy Brain says:

I'll be praying for Beth all weekend!! I attended the event in Providence last year and couldn't wait to go to CT this year – until I got pregnant and scheduled a c-section for 3 days after the event. It didn't seem wise to travel at such a time (not to mention my poor bladder would never make it through the night)!

BUT, the women of my church have been working through "Loving Well" for the last 4 weeks. We finished last night and a group of 10 from the study will be attending the event in CT as the ending note for our Bible study. All but 2 of these ladies are in their early 20s and either college students or newly graduated & married.

I can't wait to hear how God moves (even if he did plan for me to not be there; sniff.sniff.).

Amen! Since I became a Christian 9 yrs. ago, God has done such a work in me through His Word – and the vast majority of my study has come through Beth’s studies and journals. I know ya’ll must hear it so often, you could be numb to it, but I can not begin to describe what a blessing Beth Moore has been to me. I am doing one of a couple studies left of hers that I haven’t done – Daniel. On week 4 – it is so awesome, I am loving it – and I am LEARNING so much!!! I really do feel like she is sitting across the table with me sometimes – as I read her words. She has been an instrument used of God to cause me to fall madly in love with Him and His Word – thank you!!!

The church in America ROCKS!!! I just returned from a few weeks in the UK and France, and I don’t know what I would do if God did not move among us like He does. I spoke at a church outside London and to people in other small towns who are without a church and without pastors in the churches they are in. Many are desperate for God and yet disillusioned with God and the church. Yeah, America is doing very well!

Amen!! God is so good! And He is moving and working amoung us, with us and for us! I am believeing God!! My MIL just started one of Beth’s studies this fall and I am so thrilled. She told my husband “I really like how she speaks.” and he said “I knew you would!” I am praying God’s Word will be alive and real to her through Beth’s teaching. Thank you, thank you! To God be the glory, forever and ever!

Speak God’s truth, Beth, as I know you will. If there is ever a season when the church needs to know that God’s Word is alive and active and on the move, it’s NOW! I’m desperate for the presence of God in my life, and my heart aches with the daily news. We need to be reminded that we walk with God.

It sounds so simple, and yet, so often our forgetfulness. I’ll be praying for you next week as you go. May the full anointing of God’s Spirit be your portion as you minister to our New England sisters.

I also would ask you all to pray for me to discern His will for my life as I am making some decisions about my own work in my church.

I just started the Patriarch’s study and I have to say I love it. I had an encounter with GOD this morning and it just blew my socks off. I had just finished the portion of study about Hagar and man, was it mind blowing and thought provoking. GOD spoke to me through that portion and let me know personally that he is the GOD who sees. I love studying the word of GOD and especially studying about historical figures such as Abram (Abraham) and Sarai (Sarah) and Hagar (mother of Ishmael). The primitive connection with these people and me is just incredible and exciting.

Thank you Beth and all who work with you, from your family to the editing to the sound person to food prep. Keep doin what you do unto the LORD and it cannot be anything but a blessing.

I’ll be praying for Mama Beth and the whole team. Wow what an awesome week she is going to have!

Amanda, my husband takes a few mission trips to Africa a year, and I know when my husband comes home, he has seen God in ways I never have. Also, there are always changes and growth that take place within him and in the family. God has placed in on my heart to ask how Curtis is doing after his time in India and how you all as a family are doing? I pray you guys are well and ‘back in the saddle’.

Have a blessed week, may His favor shine ever so abundantly upon you all!

YES!!! A few of my Siesta’s and I will be attending the Connecticut Night in New England!!! (Six of us to be exact!) We are so excited. It is the one time we get to go away and spend some bonding time with the Lord and of course with each other. It is our favorite time of the year. We make it a girls weekend. (well we are always back Saturday night so we can attend Church on Sunday) We always spend Friday traveling to our destination and then we shop till we drop, refresh, then attend our Mama Beth’s Living Proof evening. We are always uplifted and find lots to share. We then spend all night talking in one hotel room and the next day we usually attend the Living Proof morning event, however, the New England nights is just one evening. I think we may go through Mama Beth withdrawl. We may just be wandering the streets of Connecticut with our Bibles in hand! That might be just what the Lord intended. Well we also might get a little more shopping, or sleeping in, have lunch and head home.

I pray that Mama Beth stays refreshed through her tiring schedule. I know that God will pour his annointing over her and she will be mighty in whatever He chooses for her to teach. Thank the Good Lord for blessing Mama Beth and all of you at LPM for sharing your gifts. You are truly a blessing.

Hope to see some of you there. I will look to see who else is going. Maybe I will even meet some of you at this event. That would be fabulous!

The message and worship always manages to radically impact me. So…thank you LP team for faithfully serving your Lord and truly bringing the LIFE changing message!
