I’m sorry y’all – it’s me again! I’m here to give you a little update on the Siesta Mama. She has been b-u-s-y! My mom told me that God was so faithful throughout the taping last weekend and that she absolutely loved the audience. I think everything went as well as possible. Thank you so much for praying! Monday and Tuesday were spent focused on Bible study. Our fall study is going great, but it does take a ton of preparation time for her and Melissa (who flies in to co-teach every other week). Wednesday was recovery day. She worked a half-day and then went home to rest. On Thursday she had a taping for the National Day of Prayer.
Today my parents are driving out to the ranch, where Beth is going to prepare the messages for next week’s “New England Nights” tour. It’s going to be such a neat week! I’m not going, but I hope to be able to keep you all updated as much as I can. Are any of you attending? The four events will be in Vermont, New Hampshire, Delaware, and Connecticut.
After next week, Living Proof Live will have had the great privilege of serving in all 50 states in 10 years! Isn’t that cool? God, You are awesome! It is an indescribable blessing to get to witness what God is doing in every part of this country. You know, people can throw out some seriously depressing statistics about the state of the church in America, but we KNOW God is moving among women and changing their lives through His Word. We have seen it and are seeing it with our own eyes! He is not done with us, ladies. God’s Word is alive and active in us and we are believing Him! Amen?

This morning in my quiet time, the Lord highlighted some verses that I know I am supposed to share with your Mom. Will you pass them along, Amanda?
“How we thank God for you! Becasue of you, we have great joy in the presence of God. Night and day we pray earnestly for you, asking God to let us see you again to fill up anything that may still be missing in your faith.” 1 Thessalonians 3:9-10
When I read those words, I thought, “Wow! Lord, give Beth the words for these next conferences to fill up anything still missing in their faith.”

Hey, Amanda! Thanks for the update on your mom. I had read from another friend’s blog that both he and his wife will be at the 100th event in Connecticut with your mom. They are marriage and family folks and work at Lifeway. They are really excited about being there at that 100th event!
I will be praying that God uses those on the Deeper Still/LPM event team to reach ladies for Jesus… and to help grow up those believers who are already in the faith!

Congrats on soon making it to all 50 states! I recently had my 1-yr. blogging anniversary and was thinking how neat it is that I’ve had hits from 44 of 50 states. Maybe one day I’ll hit all 50 (a lot easier to do than traveling to all 50!)

This could not possibly be a more timely entry, Amanda!!! I just got home from your mom’s “Believing God” study (the week in which she pulled you and your sister up on stage) and she discussed that very thing! There is something VERY powerful happening in the church, and there is nothing dismal or depressing about it. I’m choosing to believe God on this one, and I am absolutely on fire with anticipation right now!!!!!

We appreciate all you do keeping us updated and a fresh “word” every few days — we need that to keep on track! I soooo look forward to seeing Beth and hearing what God has to say next week in Connecticut (just a mile from my house!). I will be there with a group of about 50 women from my church. Thanks so much for coming out our way and for everything your ministry does to help so many women in so many places.
I finally got to catchon 2 weeks worth of blog reading due to work and some dear church friends that were hospitalized in the last weeks. Praise God they are on the mend. I wanted to say I was very moved by your blog about the hurricane. God has gifted you with a way that speaks forth urgency and warning that we all need to hear. Glad to hear about the taping sessions. I look forward to watching Wednesday’s with Beth at 5:30 before going into work. I end up taking a page of Notes!!! Our Ladies our studying Living Beyond Yourself/Fruit of the Spirit study. This is the second time around for me and as always God amazes me by speaking through His word in what is happening today. Just finished Joy and am working on the week of peace study. Do we need that now or what!!!! And others need to see these fruits in us by The Holy Spirits’ power. Congradulations on the gift of ministering in all 50 states. God is good and He has blessed us all ENORMOUSLY through this ministry. Thank your whole family for all the hard work dedication and love. I will be at the Durham, NH night. I can’t wait! I would like to put out a prayer request related to this night to Beth’s team and the Siestas. Beth will be speaking in an areana in the center of the University of New Hampshire campus. Please pray for this University and all of the Christian students here. UNH was recently ranked number 11 of top party schools in America. I work at the town office for the Town of Durham so I hear alot of the bad things that go on at the campus. However, I also know people who work for InterVarsity and Campus Crusade on the campus and so I know there is a Christian light there. Thanks for your prayers! Can’t wait until Tuesday night!

Yes, I’ll be there in New Hampshire with a dear friend; she and I went through the “No Other Gods” study together this summer, and have done some of Beth’s studies together. We are so looking forward to Tuesday night and what the Lord has in store for our ears!

Safe travel for Beth & Keith! Enjoy your week away, I know it's not all rest but I'm sure the peace and quiet will be nice.
Our new home in College Station is not yet complete, but we took some folding chairs out last night and sat in the family room looking out on the backyard. It was the quietest, most peaceful "sound" I've heard in a very long time! After a few minutes of quiet a doe and two fawns walked into our yard and grazed for a few minutes. Talking about God being present-that was truly a gift from God! (Keith, don't even think about bringing your gun!) :0) That's what your ranch is for, right?
LPL is such a blessing to so many, I know I'm very grateful for all the time that Beth, Amanda and Melissa give to all the studies and events. Thank you!!
