Fun, fun, fun….thanks Rich for putting together such a great pictorial of our fabulous weekend. Loved them, loved it, love y’all!
love-n-hugs,
Yay! I saw my friend Valerie in one of the pics! Looked awesome. May the Holy Spirit keep stirring those nuggets of truth until they digest into daily life.
Maybe one day I’ll be there.
Well I’m finally getting around to commenting on this post. It’s been quite a week hasn’t it? I had a great time! God is at work and I’m privilaged to be His child. Beth, thank you for being a vessel willing to take me into the deep parts of scripture, it has lit a fire in me that I pray lights fires in those I am privilaged to serve. Amanda, you have a sweet confidence about you that is such a blessing to watch and be around, Melissa, I ache to study scripture…I never thought I would be a book nerd, but its such a great place to be…It is fun to see a young woman desire the deep things, certainly you are a trail blazer…I may not have the right words to bless each of you, but I sure desire to. Your family including Keith has brought a beautiful example to my life. My man is a maverick and I am a bit of a librarian and you’ve given me permission through example to thrive. Not through perfection just through transparency, the reverent kind.
Oh Melissa I don’t know if I commented on your Leviticus post, but I am so thankful you wrote that, it was very timely! To God be the Glory! Tiffany For His Glory
Hello Ladies I have read the blog on and off for a year and I am ready to join you all. I want to be a siesta sista!!! I think you are all wonderful women of God and all seeking to please our Heavenly Father! I LOVE Beth Moore and all her material and her spirit!
Hope your hearts have room for one more!
Blessed Much Jessie Martinez
Moore family,
I hope you are on your way out of Houston…watch out for Gustav!! Find higher ground for yourselves and that babe on the way!
We will be praying for you and others in path!
WOW! I would have loved to be there. Hopefully you can have another fiesta in the future- I could probably drive to that one now. We just moved from St. Paul, Minnesota to Naples, Florida(30 hours in the car w/ 3 boys under the age of 7 and we are still living to tell about it!). God is so awesome. I love you gals!

My comment may have been one of those deleted. I don’t remember what I wrote before….but…..
I just wanted to thank Rich for this wonderful slide show. The song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” is perfect.
How many of y’all saw the beautiful rainbow in the sky early Sat. morning before the conference?
God was all over the weekend and all I can say is how blessed I feel to have been a part of it!
Melisa – I don’t know how to do this but I would like to offer my assistance if anyone reading your blog is forced out of their home due to the storm predicted to hit tomorrow. I am in Dallas/Irving cell phone no. 214.801.8407

AJ, Beth and Melissa,
Can you please include the Sims family and their son, Chaz, in your prayers. He was in a motorcross accident this weekend and is hospitalized. It is a very touchy situation and we are very concerned for this young man’s life.
Thanks, sweet friends.
I know envy and jealousy are a sin……so forgive me Lord!! How I wish I could have been there!! Looks like you girls had an awesome time!
Please, please let’s do it again sometime.
Well, I’m just about sick that I missed it. Next year ladies, look out!! I’m comin’ full force and ready to get my praizon!

Really makes me wish I had been there, but that little bride just thought since she paid me in advance that I MUST play at her wedding with my quartet. So I did.
I did not get to go to the conference. Would some of you ladies who went share some of what was taught there? What was it about and what did you learn? About spiritual heritage? Being heiresses? It sounds like something we all need to hear. Thanks!
Update on the prayer request I sent in… Earlier today!
My daughter and I went to the hospital. Chaz has been awake on and off throughout the day. He started out calling his mother “Henry” and saying things like his last name was “Diez” and his father’s last name was “Dirtwiggler.”
However, this afternoon there was much improvement. He began to recognize and identify his family members and the doctor says that his CT Scans do not look much improved but Chaz physically and cognitively appears to be much improved.
This is a day to day situation still. He could relapse or suffer significant cognitive losses as a result of his injury. He is not in a drug-induced coma, but on heavy medication. He will be in teh hospital at least a week – but to God’s glory he was taken to the #1 trauma center in North Texas.
His mom said he is definitely a miracle child. Prayers are working. The next three months are critical – he can do no physical activity AT ALL. Then they will retest and do a cognitive assessment at 6 months and that will be the long term prognosis. So – again, just as oft as you think of it please pray! It is all good news so far. He is on the road to recovery which is a great improvement from Last Night.
I am supposed to take my other daughter and her friend back tomorrow. I will keep you all posted.
THANKS AGAIN – SO MUCH. LOVE YA’LL!
I am so glad that your Siesta Fiesta was a success! Many blessings from Jax, Christy
I’ve got a lump in my throat looking at the pictures with the beautiful song to go with it. I can’t wait for the Siesta bash in heaven when it will be Jesus sitting front and center. What a grand time that will be and WE ALL will be there!!
I just giggled to my self because after the fiesta the group of women I was with went to the Alamo. There and everywhere else we went there seemed to be a JUMBO PENCIL! We laughed every time.
Really though, it was a wonderful weekend of teaching and worship and fellowship. I know my van-full is forever changed. Thank you “Moore” girls for a wonderful memory!
So, do we need to send the comments again?

I love this song! The pictures are so much fun and the memories will last a lifetime!
Thank you Beth, Amanda, Melissa and all of the LPM Staff for doing this. What an awesome opportunity it was!
Love,
Darlene
Lynne, I am just stunned over the loss of your daughter last Monday. I am so sorry. So, so sorry. May God minister every word of Psalm 16 to you and your family and wrap His arms so tightly around you that you can’t squirm an inch from Him. You are loved here.
Lynne,
I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter….I was reading through these comments and don’t always read all of them as there are so many but did read yours. And I am so glad that I did. I am praying for you and your family my dear sister. I am asking God to give you peace, rest, many loved ones and people to support you as you go through your grief. May you continue to recieve strength through the Word. Please know that you are loved….by God and by many sisters on this blog.
With much love and many prayers,
Bethany Silva

Lynn, I am saying prayers for you and your family. I am so sorry for your loss, I can not even imagine what you must be going through. I am so glad that you have Jesus to hold tight. Sweet Sister, don’t let Him go.
Love and prayers
Judy
Thank you Beth for your kind words. Indeed God is not allowing us to squirm an inch from Him and carries us moment to moment…from deep grief and tears, to healthy laughter when a memory is recalled…our daughter was a walking-talking humor mill. I wrote a little bit about her on my blog. I hope it gives a glimpse into her big heart. Girls, we have our sadness on this side of heaven, but I do know that God is very loving, very gracious, and weeps with us when we are carrying broken hearts. Trust in Him.
Love In Christ, Lynne
Bethany, I contacted you “off-blog.”
Such fun memories!! Wow, this really made me happy, such a joy to watch and see all of your smiling faces!! I will treasure it always.
Lynne,
I went over and left a word for you on the post about your daughter. Jocelyn is a beautiful girl and my heart is with you from one grieving mom to another.
Blessings sweet sister.
Awesome! Such sweet memories – I’m going to tear up now.
Lynne,
I’m so sorry, there just aren’t words. I’m praying for you and your family.
Melana
Lynne,
I am praying for you and your family as you find your peace in our Lord. I wrote my previous comment before yours had posted. I giggled before, and now I cry for you. To know that Psalm 16 was ministering to you in a way that only God’s word can is such a testimony to how divinely He works. We will continue to keep you in our prayers as God carries you through this. With much love from Oklahoma.
Lynne,
I am just so sorry for your loss. Please know that my family and I are praying for you and yours.
Hugs,
Adrienne
lynne< im praying for you! This colorado siesta loves you!
Love the Slideshow. What a dream weekend that was!
It looks like you all had an awesome time. Wish I could have been. I haven’t blogged very often, but always read what everyone up too. Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience with everyone, hopefully next year I can be a part of it.
Boo hoo. I’m all teared up. I wish I could have been there with my Siestas. But it was so nice to see everyone’s sweet face. …Phoenix is sad to see we aren’t on your 2009 calendar.
Please pray for my aetheist brother in law, Jim, who sent me this email today:
“I guess there is one thing we can both agree on. If the day comes and we both have to stand in front of Jesus, one of us is going to be really disappointed.”
Love you Moores and Siestas!
