Living Proof Live – San Antonio

Living Proof Live – San Antonio from Rich Kalonick on Vimeo.

*We had an incredible weekend in San Antonio with “The Lone Star” of the Lone Star State. Praise God! Thanks to everyone who was praying. We’ll have pictures from the Siesta Fiesta on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. I’ll have more to say by then but I am still recovering! My parents are on vacation this week. They need it so bad. Thanks so much AGAIN, Rich! Have a blessed Sunday, everyone.

    Amanda,
You are so precious! I was really neat to see your family dynamics at work at the fiesta. It was pure joy, the whole weekend. We had such a great time and our Lone Star did some major renovations in this heart of mine. Thank you all for your ministry. I have been blessed beyond belief through the years, by the things that the Lord has revealed to me through all the studies. May the Lord continue to bless y’all richly…..

Oh you guys. I am crying. I think I’ve always known this but I may have just really believed it for the first time… I felt so moved by God watching you all be moved by God. I’ve felt touched before and happy, but just now I felt the earth shake! Praise Him and yeah for you! Our God is so AMAZING! I loved also the shot of Beth and Keith. He looked almost embarrassed and her face was determined like I mean this to my very soul. I have no idea what the situation was but thats what I see. Oh if these are the still waters I cannot wait for the Living ones.

Thank you so much for your extra time with all of us Siesta’s. I had such a wonderful time this weekend and was truly sad that is now come and gone. Thank you for what you do everyday to help keep me out of that pitt that is at sometimes just one foot from me at any given time. I love you all!

Enjoy some much needed time off!

I had the best time! The conference was awesome. I loved every part of it.
Traveling with my daughter was a blessing and a blast. Getting to meet you, Amanda and having our picture taken with you was very special. You have the sweetest spirit.
Kristen and I met so many sweet siestas and had a chance to get to know some we hadn’t ever “met.” We met Boomama (Sophie) at the airport this morning at McDonalds. A sweet guy behind us took our picture. She’s a hoot!
The reception with you, your mom and Melissa was very special.
I’m so glad she’s getting a much deserved and needed vacation.
I’d like to thank everyone who had a part in making this all possible.
    It was amazing!

12 Siestas from Bar None Cowboy Church (Henderson,TX) will now claim every morning, "I AM AN HEIR OF GOD!"
What a wonderful, worshipful, powerful encounter we had with our Savior!

When we first met in session 1 and we opened to Psalm 16:5-6 I almost fell out of my chair. All week I had the word "portion" running over and over in my mind. I wanted some scriptures for my girls and I searched on biblegateway.com, keyword, "portion". Psalm 16:5-6 can up along with many others. But when I read that particular one it spoke to me. On Thursday I sent a Email to remind all 12 of my siestas of the plans for our departure and in closing I said.."Girls, He is our portion".. and typed the scripture Psalm 16:5-6. When you read it aloud, we all looked at one another and said, "Shut-UP!!!!!! ARe you believing this?" I have NO doubt that GOD was preparing us for our weekend. GOOSE Bumps all over!

Thank you for allowing us to visit with you and your precious daughters! I must say, REAL you are- your passion, your love, & your heart all scream of JESUS. When I listen to your teaching and hear your sincere devotion and hunger for More of HIM..I think to myself, "SHe is no different than you. What he has poured out on her, he will pour out on you!" Been so hard for me to accept. To truly allow him to take over my boundaries…(PAST, Life Experiences) allowed them to be my crutch.

No More…My Life is Not Left to Chance…I Am Inheriting a Kindgom…He Is My PORTION & I Am His…The Down Payment Has Been Made…My Boundaries Form a Pleasing Place…The Will Has Been Activated…& I Have A Beautiful Inheritance!

    PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!
LOVE YOU AND ALL MY SIESTAS! Great meeting all of you…Beverly you are precious! You are as sweet in person, as your blog and one question..Who was the Girl that had the Hair question for Melissa! Was she a HOOT or what! She is one of those people you could sit and listen to for hours, hilarious!Loved it! Loved It! Can't wait for 2009!

I am finally home after such a long journey. It’s amazing that in just a few mere hours I am home again when it should take hours and hours by car. I loved my special time with sweet friends. I don’t think I have laughed that much in a long time.

Thank you Living Proof Ministries and Lifeway for another great conference. I loved this one because of the special time with Beth and her girls. I loved meeting so many siestas that have become now such dear friends. Thank you, thank you for bringing God’s word and to Beth for being the messsenger.

Whew, what a beautiful inheritance, now we must all go claim it!

Thank you, Beth, Amanda and Melissa for taking time to visit with all of us. Unfortunately I had to leave for the airport a few minutes early, but it was such a special time. The Q & A was hilarious–I like thinking of your Mom as "Amen"! (Out of the mouths of babes!)

It was awesome to be able to meet so many of our Siestas and hear their voices. Now we have faces and voices to go with all the very fun, creative names!

I know there were more than 10,000 blessings received that night! Thank you again for being part of it.

I had never seen you, Beth, now I see why I’ve heard so much about you. I had seen your picture and listened to “a heart like mine” on tape while driving to Jasper from San ANtonio. I really enjoy your style of teaching, it’s a no-nonsense philosophy filled with a nonsense delivery. I was very much reminded that we are who we are through God’s eyes, not our own or others.

I am very much a miracle too. I have been delivered from myself and a lifestyle of destruction and addiction and now live a life of freedom in Christ…for I can do all things in Christ…I am living proof, literally.

God bless you, Beth, keep up the kingdom work.

I was soo in need of this weekend. I am trying, desperately, to climb out of a funk that I’ve been in for the past year and I knew that God would speak through Beth this weekend. And boy did He! Beth, you were on a roll! I went back through my notes today on the plane and re-wrote some of them because I was writing soo fast that you couldn’t read it! And I also wanted to look up some of the scriptures that you mentioned.
Thank you to Beth, Amanda, Melissa, Patty, Kim, and all the hardworking ladies that made the Siesta Fiesta possible! It was soo much fun! I can’t wait til next time!!

    Kim Safina says:

    The Journey Continues ~

    REST SWEET Siesta!

I was spending time with the Lord and came upon this writing that so fits during this time of rest and renewal.
Precious one ~ this woman of God has learned the value of BEING as opposed to DOING. Too many women today have forgotten how to simply BE. They have bought into the lie of doing and have become highly obsessive-compulsive about getting work done. As a result, they are cut off from their feminine feelings and nature. A woman ( like the Moore women) who walks closely with her God, however, is free from competiveness, aggressiveness, and the need to prove her worth. Yes, she may be aggressive and high-energy by temperament or competitive and very capable in the business world, but the fact is that she is affirmed not by other people but by her God. Such a woman “speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue” ( Proverbs 31:26), and her family is blessed: “Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life…Her children arise up and call her blessed” (Proverbs 31:11,12,28). Such a woman inspires the man of her life to rise to his own greatness, and she supports him unconditionally in his search for fulfillment and achievement. And such a woman—one closely in tune with God–is indeed worthy of praise as she models godly values and high moral standards. A woman’s gentle and quiet spirit makes her a blessing to the people around her. History shows that as the woman goes, so goes the family. YOu give meaning and purpose to a home. You are the heartbeat, pumping vital blood into the family system by setting the spirit and tone. You help others establish and live by moral standards. You bring glory to God and hope to His world.
    So, go pamper yourself!
Walk with Keith and the pups in the mountains and enjoy the smells of God’s sweet Christmas gift to you. Cuddle up in some crisp bed sheets and have a starbucks together.

    I love this prayer,

Father God, let me take time to build precious memories with my family. We are here for a short while and then we are gone–gone from those who are dear to us. How will I be remembered? As someone who is angry, screaming, bitter? Or as a loving, laughable, joyful person? May my laughter echo strong in the walls long after I’m gone. Show me the way. Amen

    With “Heaven Bound” blessings,

I forgot to fill in my evaluation form………..I think you (Beth) need to do it again this weekend, so I can be better prepared to fill it out ๐Ÿ˜‰

Seriously~touched is a good word for the feeling I left with. My “issues” are not huge…..no abuse, no neglet, marriage is great, kids are great, love my job as a wife, mom and children’s ministry director….but, my issues ARE real and tangible and God used this weekend to solidify my importance to Him. The top of my border must increase~I am responsible for that, and in my “busy-ness”, He gets left out. I love to STUDY God’s word, but my personal time with Him is lacking and it’s something I have struggled with my entire Christian life. Please pray for me as I seek to make the committment (again) to spend meaningful, personal time with my King. I will start with “Jesus~90 Days with the One and Only”~I got to day 77 and stopped, a broken committment that has led to a dry period until the fresh spring of Living Water poured through my soul again this weekend.

Thank you, girls, for loving on us after the event!!! What a special time for us. It was fun to see you interact and I truly believe we would be friends in “real life” ๐Ÿ˜‰ As of right now, I do not have my own blog because then my life would be way too crazy…..I am thinking of starting one to tell of things overheard in children’s Sunday school~gosh kids are funny!!!! Until then, encouraging words and prayers are welcome via my email:

    [email protected]

Thanks again, Beth, Amanda and Melissa for using your gifts to speak truth into our lives.

    Blessings from Abilene, TX~Carolyn

P.S. When you get the group pictures, I was in the green group~ Beth is one person to the right away from me and Melissa is laid out in front of me (cuz she had pants on and could get on the floor….not because she was a camera hog, Amanda :)….curly brunette in a green Siesta shirt (so you can have a face with the name)

Beth – Melana and I headed back on our way toward Wyoming. Both EXTREMELY exhausted but it is ALWAYS worth it! Anyway, to keep us occupied on the VERY long drive I had brought along some books for us to read out loud to each other. Didn’t need them on the way down but needed them today. So, I get in my bag and chose a book. Boundaries. Didn’t even make the connection to what you had spoke about until I started reading it. WE are God’s inheritence and we need to take better care of his treasurer’s by not over-committing and spreading our energy over too much property, only just what we have been given.
