Meet the newest member of the Moore family, little miss Queen Esther “Star.” She is 7 lbs. 2 oz. of fuzzy border collie joy. You can see in the pictures below where she gets her name. We are in love with our little Star!
Star and Jackson are already getting along quite well. They are learning to share.

Oh my word. How sweet is that? I used to have a border collie and she was the best dog ever!! So sweet and loving and VERY obedient – after much prayer and fasting that is!! π
Congrats!!!

PS. The word checker thing has “xlax” in it!! hahaha That made me laugh!
She is so stinkin’ cute!! I’m so excited for you and Keith, and look forward to the puppy stories to come. Love you guys, Tina B.
Beth, I’m so excited for you! Star is ADORABLE! Now, is Keith going to get his own dog since apparently Star has a job at LPM. LOVE IT!!!!! Have fun with your new puppy! God is soooo good!
What a doll baby! I felt like you wouldn’t be puppy-less for long.
Different subject, I dreamed about San Antonio all stinkin’ night! You had a rockin’ 80’s perm. I got to sit next to you but I forgot my Bible so I worked continuously throughout the evening to make sure you didn’t realize I didn’t have one.
Wonder what Freud would say about that! LOL
Dear Moore’s: Star is so beautiful and I pray she will bring y’all lots of joy and laughter. Border collies are so smart and full of energy. (Sorta like Beth…) We love them in our family.
If Keith wants her to practice her herding skills, bring her out to our farm “Double M Ranch,” here in Middle Georgia and she can herd up the black angus cows…
Or she could just play with my German short-haired pointer, “Otis.”
Congratulations…I felt as if it wouldn’t be long.

Happy 4th of July
She is so cute and your Jackson, oh my! I’m thanking God for you today and praying you have a blessed 4th!
Congratulations! I’m sure we will all enjoy the antics of puppyhood through your upcoming speaking opportunities. Blessing on you and “May your dreams come true and you wish upon this STAR!”
She’s a cutie that’s for sure! However, I think she needs a siesta!!!! It’s just as easy to train two as it is to train one!
I hope you’ll show her off in your next video for us doing “Do Other God”. I just love puppies…I even love puppy breath!! Woof…Woof to you and your!
That is so cute!!! Jackson is hysterical in that crate….you’ll look at that picture in years to come and laugh for sure.
Congrats, Beth, on your new addition. Can’t wait to hear about all your new adventures with Star!
I am SO happy for you guys…congrats on the new addition to the fam. π
I LOVE the pic of Jackson in Star’s little puppy condo – too funny!
Can’t wait to see/ hear about your new adventures with her!
what a doll baby!
isn’t it neat to think, when she was still in her mommy’s tummy, God knew SHE was going to be your sweet baby to love soon…
Congratulations!

Yeah Star! Congrats Moore family!!!
Get some sheep, more Grandbabies, Sunday school children, Something to keep her busy or you’ll discover a new meaning to the word EXERCISE! And you’ll find yourself saying “WHAT ON EARTH IS SHE CHASING NOW” a lot! PRASIE GOD! He binds the broken hearted and is the best exercise instructor I know!!!!
I love animals. I can’t imagine life without them in my home.
Blessings in Christ–
I am so excited and happy for all of you — border collies are WONDERFUL dogs. (We have a two year-old male and after seeing Star, I want another puppy!!)
Aawwww, too cute! Congrats, you now have an official “herder” for the LPM staff “sheep”:)
Dearest Beth and family:
I am so excited for you all!! I have been waiting and watching to see when you would get a new puppy! God is so good and joy truly does come in the morning! Enjoy her!!
Hi Beth!! I just had to jump back on and tell you this…
I told my husband about your new puppy, and he said “…well, does she know that border collies are the pharisees of dogs???” And he’s right!!! They are smart, and will follow the rules to the letter, not necessarily with a pure heart. We had a good laugh about it!
Hope Star is settling in; I’m sure she is getting lots of love and attention.
Hugs,
Adrienne
Yea!!! I am so happy for you! She is PRECIOUS!
Congratulations! Star is completely adorable. I’m sure she will bring much joy to the Moore household. π

She is BEEEYOOOOUUUUUTIIIFULLL! You couldn’t have picked a better breed for the two of you. Border Collies are such lovers, but they also live to work and please their people. It will be awesome to see all the things that y’all learn together and have that, in turn, imparted to all of us. Enjoy your baby…I’m so happy for you!
Leslie, a Utah Siesta and a fellow canine addict!
She is just precious! I was wondering where you found her? Was she a rescue or a pound puppy?
Have fun with the new baby!
Love ya!

My Chris’ said that his professor at A&M, Dr. Coppinger, gave some good advice about Border Collies. He said, “You have to be quick to train them or they’ll train you.”
Happy Fourth to you all!
Love,
holly
Yahoo… She is darling. Just the thing to bless your heart with a dose of healing. Have Fun!!

I am So excited for you! She is Precious! Oh I can just smell that puppy breath now! : )
I’m so glad you got her. Enjoy!
p.s. the picture of Jackson in Star’s pink bed, being curiously sniffed out and discoverd by Star, made me think of Baby Bear in Goldilocks…”..and someones been sleeping in my bed and he is Still Right Here!!!”
May she bring as much happiness to your household as your two blessed dogs did! Hopefully, she won’t chew things and be easily trained. I’m so happy for you both!
Congratulations Beth on your new “Star.”
My best friend (and she’s in heaven now) was “Lady,” a border collie. She had all the natural herding instincts and when I lived in the back 40 trailer of a cattle rancher, they would let me bring the cattle in at night so that Lady could have her fun…and she so enjoyed it and I loved working with her…she was beauty in motion.
She had her weaknesses though. She had epilepsy and had to take medication twice a day. Also, during the 4th of July week she would tear through screen doors and bend wire cages to get away, or to get to me. Lightening and booming sounds would trigger an episode and she would be so very frightened. Several times she ran away in confusion and panic.
My small son would cry because she was missing. My son, my husband and I would snuggle up and ask Jesus to bring her back…and He always did.
She lived a long and good life.
Keep your Star with you as much as possible, because you are her “sheep” and she will love and guard you all her days.
Again, Congratulations!

She will be the star of many shows I am sure! Yea, Beth. Star is precious. Happy new puppy to all the Moores =)
Our family is so excited for you! That is going to be one spoiled pooch. She is absolutely adorable.
My daughter was concerned as to why Jackson was in the cage. She had to run out and tell her brother as well. Very cute.
Have fun,
April
Oh my gosh!!!
Y’all are making me want a puppy now. She’s sooo adorable! I just wanna reach through the screen and play with her. Congratulations y’all! π
Oh! Bless your heart! A baby in the house again! I will be PRAYING for you for these next few months because I remember all too clearly the “adventures” that go along with those new babies! AFter losing our beloved dog of 14 years, we too had a new baby in the house exactly this time last summer. A year later, MOST of the house is still standing, I’ve said goodbye to a few pair of shoes (I didn’t really need them I suppose!), and we are still hopelessly and forever in LOVE with our little Oscar! Best wishes and happy training!
That is great I loved it when my kids would do that, and the dog would just look at them and say ok what are you doing thats mine…
You are all in my prayers…

My heart sings for the joy. I know Star will prove to be a great friend and companion at the Moore household. Blessings.
Star is just beautiful!
Congratulations & may you enjoy many, many years of happiness together. I look forward to lots of stories.
Darling picture of Jackson in the doggie cage!
That gave me a fit of giggles!
What a charmer. Looking forward to Star and hearing all that she will contribute to the Moore family!
Blessings,
Nancy
She’s so cute!!!! We’re now on our second Border Collie. They’re great dogs.
Beth,
Congratulations on your beautiful new puppy!!!! She looks awesome and the fact that she is a border collie guarantees you’ll have lots of high energy fun with her!! On a completely different note, that color of blue looks amazing on you!
Congratulations on your new family addition. She’s darling! This will be one spoiled pup! Lucky girl π
How absolutely fantastic! She’s a beauty queen for sure. We are so happy for you all.
In Him,
Nancy
Star and the baby are cuties, but isn’t the pen for Star? : ) What a cute little furball! God bless you real good!
You are going to have to call her “Queenie!”
Or Starry, starry night…dah,dah,dah,dah,daaah,da,dah
I am so happy that you guys went ahead and brought a new baby into your family! What an awesome way to honor Sunny and Beanie!
Little Miss Queen Esther Star looks at home in your arms, Beth. Must be a God thing! Don’t you love that He cares even about bringing puppies into our lives?!
Enjoy her and we all look forward to enjoying her as much as we did your other babies.
This dog lover sends her love to little Star
Oh, Bethie, I love your new baby, I know you are just crazy about her. Congratulations on the new baby.
Oh my gosh! I am so jealous (in a good way). We had a border collie – my beloved Wilson who just recently passed away right about when Sunny did. He was honestly the BEST dog I have ever had! You will love having a border collie – they are so smart and a lot of fun!! You will be amazed at what you will be able to teach her to do. And, I think I can say with a lot of confidence that you will not have to chase her like you did Sunny. Our border collie never needed a leash or a fenced yard. Couldn’t chase him away with a stick! Have fun with Miss Star – love that name! π
loving that second picture…and of course her bed is pink…do they have other options?! π
happy you are happy π
We have a Border Collie. At 9 years old, he is the coolest dog, but talk about issues – at least he’s the only one in the family with OCD! I guess it’s appropriate that we named him “Fitzgerald” after my favorite author, F. Scott – didn’t he go insane at the end?
We just got a border collie a year ago-did not know I could love a dog so much. they are the smartest animals!! you will enjoy but your walks will never be the same. Get a chuck it stick and save your arm.
