Father, break down walls around hearts that need to be healed. Break down lies that have been planted deep in minds, replacing those lies with Your Holy Word. Break down sin, exposing how ugly it is. Raise up an army of angels surrounding this precious group as they feast on Your Word and surrender control to You, Lord. Take control away from the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy. I pray for revival and renewal. I pray for lives to be strengthened in faith. I pray that each one will hear in their spirit the sound of the sharpening of a two-edged sword…Your Word…alive and active in them. You are calling us to be ready for battle and the weapon we use is Your Holy Word. Let it be so. In Jesus Name. Amen.

I consider it my privilege and honor to pray over the Breaking Free tapings. Beth, I was lifting you to the Father in prayer this morning at 9:00– praying Ephesians 3:14-16 over you.

Breaking Free means so much to me. On the morning of September 11, 2001, I gathered up my two little girls and we trekked across town to a church I’d never stepped foot into so that I could join my first women’s Bible study group. The study was Breaking Free. My life has never been the same. While terrorists attacked my nation’s freedom, God was beginning His freedom work in my life. I will never forget.

In the words of the song; “My chains are gone, I’ve been set free. My God, My Savior has ransomed me.” Sweet Jesus, thank-You!

In the meantime, I’m definitely praying for everyone there!

Just got home from the Breaking Free taping. God so showed up – BIG TIME! It was so awesome and it was just the introduction!! I looked around the room and was struck by two things that just moved me to tears. One, there is such a mix of women, all races, all ages, all sizes, and all reaching out to God. Two, I was set free through the first Breaking Free study. I cry with joy at the miracles and victory that will come to all those women.

And to Beth, Your hair looked great but those of us sitting in the back couldn’t see your shoes!! But it was just such a joy being a part of this event that will change so many lives for generations to come.

We prayed tonight at our Bible study for Beth and the taping sessions. I think Breaking Free was the second study our ladies did…quite a few years ago.

We just purchased the Esther study and plan to start it in January. Can’t wait!

    Amanda,
I just wanted to share a tremendous thanksgiving to others. On election day, my sister was in a terrible car accident. Our powerful, mighty, saving God protected her. I have posted her testimony on my blogs and felt I should share a link to one of my blogs so others can read her testimony. Maybe there’s someone out there that needs to know our God is mighty enough to protect them in their situation. The Lord has even ministered that very thing to me just now in a situation I recently experienced! My sister’s testimony is powerful and pictures of her vehicle are included. Take care! May our Lord be magnified and glorified!

    Sincerely,
    Karen

Awesome, amazing, and humbling. I’m sitting in my hotel room just stunned at the love of Jesus. I am here in New Orleans at the taping and I was so thrilled to see so many women just loving the Lord together.

God’s presence was so apparent in that sanctuary. He has a mighty work happening among the women. A divine appointment. There is a reason for all of us being here and I’m excited about where God is leading each of us. I’m ready to drop those shackles and live completely Free!

I took it to CA while saying good bye to my brother who is loosing the battle with cancer at 48yrs old and God has been never closer to my heart as through this study. As I cried out to God this morning about my husbands battle with another cancer that God is continuing to let it simmer and not mover for 6 yrs. God has shown me in the Holy of Holies His true love, grace and mercy at this time in my life. May God continue to bless you Beth as you obediently do His Work and bless each one of us as we follow the studies. Many blessings, Tracy

I live in Austin, but was visiting my sister in Houston this weekend. I woke up at her home Monday morning thinking of you and praying that your time in New Orleans would be so blessed!

Then I went to the window and saw that it was raining buckets. So then I worried about your hair. Then I worried even more about your hair because New Orleans isn’t exactly a cure for a bad hair day. So I prayed about your hair too.

But seriously, I am currently doing “Breaking Free” and it is changing my life beyond expression. I will count it an honor and a privilege to pray for you this week!

    Love,

Please continue to give us updates as you can, especially so that we can know how to pray. Thank you, Amanda, for all that you and the LPM staff do. We love you to pieces!

Father, I’m praying for focus for Beth. I’m asking You to discipline her thoughts and order her steps. I pray that her heart would just be so filled with Your Love that it would overflow on all those listening to her messages. Take captive every defeating thought and make Your thoughts her thoughts. When she speaks, may it be Your Voice speaking. Holy Spirit, how desperate we all are for Your movement in our lives. Release captives to live in the freedom of Jesus Christ. Father, break through even the most stubborn heart. I’m thanking You right now for the testimonies of faith that will come out of this event. Both now at the taping and in the future through the new version of the Bible study. You are our Reward. In Jesus Name. Amen.
