Thank You

Ladies, thank you so much for your thoughtful, honest, heartfelt responses! There were several times when I just had to stop and pray for all of us as I was reading through them. I’m sure many of you did the same thing. My mom just got home from the Women of Faith pre-conference in Washington, D.C., and she told me she can’t wait to read all of them. Now that we have passed the 400 mark, I’m going to close the comments. Thank you so much for participating!

I have some very exciting news. Today 11,000 women attended the pre-conference event in D.C. We were blown away by that! But that’s not the exciting news I’m talking about. Eight hundred and ninety-three women committed their lives to Christ! Praise Jesus! I cannot even fathom it! We praise God for how He’s using Women of Faith to introduce women to our Savior. I know my mom has been blessed to partner with them this year.

Have a great weekend, everyone! I’m going to try to keep my laptop closed as much as possible for the next two days, so I’ll see you Monday.

Sorry about the jeans. I truly am. May you find their replacement quickly and without the disgrace of 100 try-ons in a dressing room with bad lighting!!

But, I am thankful that your recording/taping went forward and was completed! May women everywhere come to learn that they can be SET FREE!

Dear Beth, It was a blessing for me and all the others who prayed for you especially as you were in New Orleans taping the Breaking Free (after Katrina edition). Satan really tried to discourage me and distract me from my task of praying for you as my father in law recently died and we are still dealing with our “Big Daddy’s” earthly loss to us.However, God was still there and He helped me though I was praying through my tears for you and your ministry. Keep on keeping on dear Beth!We all love you and know God is using you in a mighty way to help people come to the Lord through your ministry.

Thank you for re-taping this one for us. I can hardly wait for it to hit the shelves. It was the 1st Beth Moore study I ever did… I think I still have my study guide. I am in such a different place than then and I can barely wait to do it again and have God move me along my path some more.

Thank you Beth for saying a blessing over us. YOU are such a blessing.

Thank You for the blessing over us. I am still going over notes from the siesta event in Texas and the messages just keep coming.

I am so thrilled to know that you know in your heart that there are constant prayers covering you and the ministry! Especially in the early morning because alot of my prayers for others are during the 2-4 am time slot.

Glad that God reigns with victory and the message “Breaking Free” will continue on to help others as it so helped me in my journey.

    Sarah says:

your very welcome sister! I know how powerful your first breaking free was and how free I became after doing the study, it was hard work but oh so rewarding. It helps women everywhere and the more people who are free of their bondage the better our world will be and they in turn will help others in bondage as well. It becomes a chain effect and all the glory goes to HIM. It is such a blessing and honor to be part of your prayer team.

    oh sweet mama siesta beth,
it is so wonderful to have prayed for you and thank you for blessing us. I thought the fact favorite pairs of jeans had made it 5 years was a true miracle…I mean we siestas have our “seasons” and so celebrate. I was thinking you could put a cute patch on the knee but I don’t think that would be a very good idea when I saw why you had to retire…so I hope you find a new fav pair. Thank you for always loving us so much and letting us pray for you.

Oh how I know the heartbreak of losing your favorite pair of jeans. Mine gave out last week also, what a coincidence. Although mine were a bit older than yours. I figure they lasted about 7 years. Got my monies (sp)worth out of that pair.

I am so grateful that prayer played a great part in the Breaking Free taping. It is a reminder of how powerful prayer truly is. I also get a warm fuzzy feeling seeing the same Siesta’s names show up time and time again. Although, I did not get to blog last week I was keeping an eye on what was going on and keeping all in prayer.

Praise God for being ever faithful in fighting the enemy. I can’t wait to experience the new Breaking Free!

Beth, wow, praying for your ministry is a privilege. Thank you, dear sister in Christ! We are inspired by your courage and willingness to do our Lord’s work. Your personal witness of freedom through the power of God, puts a visible “word” in our lives. When you read the blessing, my heart stopped and tears filled my eyes- I face what appears to be an unexpected financial disaster and an end to a direction I thought was my work(not professional but using my gifts in a volunteer format) for our Lord. I continue to receive verses during my quiet time and even prophetic “words” from unexpected messagers of God that promise abundance rather than lack. As I search my heart for any repentance necessary and fall on face in front of our Lord with petitions,I beg God to sell my home. I have sold my personal “treasures”- which are only “things” but represented a life time of wonderful memories-Your blessing this morning from Is. 61 along with Isaiah 54 and II Cor. 9:11 which were given to me- continue to open a crack to the door of hope. Forgive the long comment-there’s no need to post it, it feels like a prayer of sorts to write. Great Blessings to you and yours, this Thanksgiving- please know it is a gift to feel an extra encouragement from our Lord through your message. We need to remember how important it is to allow Christ’s love to flow through each of us to encourage one another.

    Beth,

I’m turning my prayers from intercessory to praise over your Breaking Free tapings. God continues to use your life and message to help me break free from lifelong condemnation from an older sister. Who would think that would be bondage? It took me years to realize it, but it is bondage. People who place blame, even false blame, and who always play the “victim” spread irreparable guilt and blame on everyone around them. Am I making sense … hard to explain such a scenario? Praise God for freedom from such bondage!!

Have a glorious feast of Thanksgiving with your sweet family. We’ll be praising our Father here in Atlanta!!

Miss Beth, thank you for staying connected. I know you’ve mentioned several times that one of the hardest things in this season has been the loss of face to face with women, but you have still managed to maintain a bit of it, “screen to screen” as you say. We do pray for you, we are thankful for the purposeful effectiveness of your ministry, and we will continue to pray. May you be comforted in the passing of your jeans, that you in turn may comfort others in the passing of theirs.

I have a quick story. I was off with my family today and my man was out of town hunting as usual. And I was so offended that he had not called me and it was 3:30 pm. So, I worked myself up…I chalked it up to the fact that he didn’t care about me, that I was last on his list, and etc. He sent me a sweet text message and I was like dude thanks for thinking of me and sending a text. I sat in the bathroom floor and bawled my eyes out over my hurt feelings. Then, I realized I had not listened all the way through the intro of Esther. I got to the end where you talked about how it is tough being a woman with our hormones…and I was relieved because that was my deal today!! Give me five!!!
I couldn’t get over how irrational I was all over my hormones. Bawling because I did not get a phone call. irritation….not a tribulation right! but my hormones sure made it feel like a tribulation. IT IS TOUGH BEING A WOMAN!!!

    Dana N says:

What a sweet message–and thanks so much for the blessing. Our little women’s Bible study group just completed Breaking Free and we experienced first hand the enemy coming against each and every member. I know how he must have wanted to stop the re-taping of it! But our Great God prevailed and there are 4 women in our church who have been set free. Praise be to God!! (sadly we started with 8 but for one reason or another 4 dropped out–again the enemy at work!!)

I don’t want this to get too long, but I have to tell you how God chose to end our study on a Most High note. Throughout the weeks of our study, we had been praying for the child that one of our member’s granddaughter was expecting. The doctors had told her that her baby had some really serious problems and there was little hope for the baby’s survival. In fact, aborting the pregnancy was an option which the parents simply refused to consider. Much prayer went up for that child! Well, I’ll have you know that the night before our closing session, Payton Alyssa was born and can I tell you: SHE WAS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!!! We were so delighted and overjoyed by our
Great God’s display of His awesome power and love. We couldn’t help but feel that He had timed that miracle just for us! Oh, how we love Him!!!

  49. 149
    Kelly @ Love Well says:

    Dang.

I do believe you really mean that.

    ๐Ÿ˜‰

What a privilege we have to partner together and watch God’s spirit swing His sword and break the chains that hold many.

I pray His HUGEST blessing over the re-release of that study. For your glory, Holy One.
