Summer Online Bible Study: The Quest!

Hey, you guys! If you haven’t done The Quest, come do it with us and finish the summer strong! It’s a 6 week series where the whole point is increasing intimacy with God. I think you’ll find the subject matter relevant for the turbulent world we live in.  Life is incredibly hard but so much of the grind gets exchanged for divine glory when we embrace life as Scripture presents it to the Christ follower: nothing less than the greatest quest a human being could ever discover. A quest where questions aren’t only allowed. They are encouraged. Come and see.

      Hi Sandy!

The full Online Bible Study for the Quest will actually not begin until July 31st. The TBN show airing will not be the full teaching. It will serve as a preview to the full set of videos. Let us know if you have any other questions.

      Blessings!

I’ve already signed up and I’m really looking forward to this study. So timely for me.
    I have a question:
Will the videos only be online at the times specified or will they be left up for a short time?
I’m in England and I don’t want to miss out!!

I have some ladies that are interested in our church. Where are these videos viewed at? If they want to order the book, what is the best link to refer them to? How long will these videos be up to watch? A few didn’t want to go as fast with the homework and all.

I am excited to journey along with you to finish out the summer! My two teenagers (16 and 19 yrs. old) are interested in studying with me, and I am just curious: what is the difference between the adult and teen journal? Thank you!

      Media says:

      Hi Laura,

The two versions are very similar. The teen version is just slightly shorter and has more teen-oriented graphics. The teen version comes in hardback, while the adult version is a softcover. But, if you compare the two side-by-side, you’ll notice the two have mostly the same content. Hope this helps!

I registered a few weeks ago but have not received an email. Should I have received something by now. This will be my first lifeway study so I will need information on how the study works. Thanks in advance for your response and the upcoming study.

      Hi Natalie,

This is what Lifeway had listed on their page:

“Go to your email and add “[email protected]” to your contacts. This way, our emails are less likely to go to your spam folder…You will receive a welcome email, and weekly emails will begin July 31. The emails are simply reminders to come back here to the blog to watch the video and participate in the comments. If you don’t receive an email, that’s OK! You can always come to LifeWayWomen.com to view the latest session.”

      We hope this helps!

    Hi there,

I’ve already registered and am so excited to do this study with my teenage daughter! We live in South Africa, and there are unfortunately no suppliers of the workbook for teens around here… Is there maybe a pdf-version that I can purchase for her?

    Kind regards.

I am facilitating “The Quest” study with a wonderful group of ladies of the Church. We just finished week 2 of class and it was a most fantastic time of fellowship and tears. Not many had finished the first week of homework, but I had highlighted quotes from the homework and by sharing them dialogue was opened and tears were shed. It was a fantastic time to grow together. The study itself is fantastic and I have felt tremendous growth already. Thank you and God bless!!!

week One page 24 was painful for me. 1. incompetent 2. incapable of being a Paralegal 3.cannot hold any type of job for more than 2 years. I am a disappointment. who told me that, me. This past year has been one huge disappointment after another. My marriage is feeling shaky, my health is shaky, employment is just gone, two kids off to college, empty-nest for the first time. financially strained, I need to go back to community college to refresh my computer skills which hopefully will help me get a job and keep it, to help my husband and kids. I have been seeking Jesus daily and asking, seeking and knocking and all I hear are crickets. I was leading a small women’s group at my church, which was taken away from me because my Mom asked me to take her to her church because she is having health problems. I was told by the groups coordinator that if I was not coming to their church on a regular basis, I had to find someone else to lead the group, I had to step down, after seven years of leading,
ouch. I am constantly trying to remind myself that Jesus is working on my plan,, he will see it to completion. Right now I feel beaten down and almost hopeless. Not a good place to be for me. I am so lost and I am not sure I will find the right path, but I will keep asking, seeking and knocking because; LORD, NOBODY BUT YOU… KNOWS WHAT I CAN ACCOMPLISH. I am hanging on tight to that sentence.

Our ladies study group just finished The Quest today. It was another great study by Beth Moore. At the end of our discussion today, a non biblical question came up that was on everyone’s minds: where did Beth get her boots? We all wanted a pair.

      Media says:

      Hi there,

Her tall lace up boots were from Target a few years ago. And we believe the shorter ones were from Target also, or a gift.

      Blessings!
