Thank you once again Beth! I’ve been to several of your LPL events and always come away with a direct word from the Lord. It is obivous that much prayer and seeking God’s direction and listening to the Father’s promptings has gone on with you and your staff. Thank you all!

This year as the second segment finished I thought how great the teaching had been, but that I might not receive a specific word this time. When you started with questions in the audience the 3rd session, I just relaxed and said “Ok Lord, this has been great time with You, but I guess I’m not getting a specific direction for me this year.” Oh how wrong I was!

You see, 20 years ago when I had 4 little children at home, my husband had leukemia and chemo. During that time God told me I would write a book one day. He even gave me the title, “Lessons Learned in the Valley.” It was years of busyness raising 4, but I started a Word file, and occasionally when God would stir up thoughts in me I would open the file and add to it. I have about 30 pages. But I have let fear and insecurity keep me from finishing it. Satan tells me “What do you have to say that anyone would want to read?” But God has taught me deep truths. I don’t have to be a success and sell thousands of books, but after your prayer for us writers and your sweet words to the lady who was a writer I know I have to write this book because God told me to.

The sentence you spoke that was just for me was “Some of you are out there writing a blog when God told you to write a book.” (Or something to that effect.) That’s me! I am editor/writer for our church blog, Priceless, that just launched Thursday!! As in 2 days before. I furiously scribbled all the advice you gave that other sweet writer lady – cause it was for me too! Thank you thank you thank you! God is so good to us.

Debbie – here’s a good book for you to read: The Valley of Vision by Arthur Bennett. It’s a collection of Puritan prayers and my favorite pray is “The Valley of Vision”. You may already have this for your research on this topic but I just wanted to make sure. Good luck with your writing!

Thank you for a spirit led weekend. My life has been different since my first study with you. I pray for my Beth Moore group daily. We purchased our tickets in February for Mobile. We can’t wait for this special opportunity to listen to Gods word from someone that truly loves the Lord. Sister through Christ and loved by God, Joyce. Mississippi

I wanted to share my experience with gaining wisdom. Several years ago I was working as a Labor and Delivery nurse. I was assigned a patient whose baby would be stillborn. I had been a nurse on that unit for 10 years and had much experience with this type of awful, devastating situation. At that particular time though, I had just finished my Master’s in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. I remember feeling somewhat arrogant coming to work that day. I had been off of work for a week to take my Board Certification and I had passed! Not too much longer would I even be working on that unit anymore. But, I took the assignment of caring for the young loving couple as they mourned the loss of their first born. They changed my life forever. We became so close. I cried with them. I hugged them. I held their precious little one. Days after they left the hospital I continued to feel depressed. Over and over I asked God “Why me?”. “Why did I have to get involved?” It wasn’t fair that I was hurting so much on the inside, for people I really didn’t even know. …That’s when I got some wisdom. It was like God was talking to me and said “I, chose YOU, for THEM”. It was a Divine Assignment. I was humbled by the experience and it was perfect timing. I am now a Woman’s Health Nurse Practitioner and I know am merely a vessel for God and his work.

This past weekend brought new life and new direction into my prayer life, my desire to be in the Word, and in my personal realtionship with Jesus.
How grateful I am that I am able to attend LPL on a yearly basis!!

As soon as I got home, I came under severe attack from the devil! I was able to choose wisdom over folly and it is my prayer to always be aware and make this choice!

Thank you to the entire team!!

At the Mobile conference, you told the following story:
Beth was having her granddaughter visit her and so beforehand, Beth got her a couple of toys that she was going to give out during the visit. One day after the arrival of Beth’s daughter and grandkids, the granddaughter told Beth about a certain toy that she wanted so badly & Beth was tickled because she had actually picked out that same toy! Beth eagerly shared with her daughter this conversation and how delighted she was that she was going to make the granddaughter so happy with the gift! Well the daughter knew something was up and went upstairs to discuss this with the granddaughter. Very soon the granddaughter came down the stairs crying and asking Beth to forgive her because she had peeked in Beth’s closet and found the gifts. The granddaughter was crying, the mother was mad but Beth was not angry or upset – and I understood why by what the Holy Spirit helped me to see. Beth’s love was a grandmother’s love. As parents, our love for our children always has duty associated with it. We provide for our children; we feed, clothe, educate, nurse them back to health and discipline them when needed. There are times when the duty of being a parent supersedes our love. As grandparents, we can love our grandchildren without the duty, just pure love.
We know God as Father. The Apostle’s Creed says “I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth . . . “. He gave us life, He’s our protector, comforter, healer and He disciplines us. God’s love for us however, is more like the love of a grandfather. His love is so perfectly complete; He loves us knowing how broken and fallen as we are.
Luke 11:13 – if you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!

Thank you so very much for the wonderfully inspirational and life changing weekend you facilitated for me after several weeks of really tough emotions/concerns with our area flooding and unreal losses! I returned to my Catholic school’s open house on Sunday afternoon to meet my students’ parents and asked my co-workers if I was glowing from the aura that I felt surrounded me after this amazing weekend. 🙂 It was my first (yet, not my last) Beth Moore event. WOW! What a treasure it is to hear someone be so passionate and enthusiastic about her relationship with Christ and the scriptures, and the amazing way you make them relatable to women. I’ve missed that over the last few years…. The “thud that hit my pavement” during this event was the quiet whispers I’ve received very recently in what I now know must be His wisdom about my 14 year old daughter’s discernment and choice (and earnest questioning) about moving forward in her faith choice.
Thank you for making me laugh in a way I haven’t laughed in so long and cry when I needed to; and laughing through those tears at some points! The Lord has given you such a gift with words and timing with your words. Thank you for sharing that gift with my sister and me this weekend…….And thank you for reminding me that the Scriptures are where it’s at.

Beth Moore! I am so stinkin’ thankful for you and your ministry. I was in Mobile. I drove. By myself. 5 hours. Mind you I was tricked into believing it would only take 4, and I was not told about the scary bridge! I like a driver… i am not the driver in my friend group…

Anyway, thank you! I love you dearly because it’s at events like yours that I hear God so clearly… and He is who I am really after! This weekend my first step was to surrender to the call on my life for ministry. I am 40.5 years old! I’ve always wanted to be in ministry full time, just cause it’s really hard to do anything well “half” time! And I want to be all the way in… neck deep! I had never surrendered to ministry because I didn’t know to. It’s the second best thing I’ve ever done! I am so thankful! I bought a cuff bracelet today just to remind me that I am His bondservant, and He can do with me and my life what He wills. Whatever that looks like. Just pray I will have the courage to step into whatever He calls. Love you Beth Moore! Sincerely, Kimberly Mason Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Wow! When we realize Jesus is alway there and how much he really loves us, it really is not that difficult to want to be obedient. I brought a precious young hurting girl to the event on Friday night. She was unable to come back on Sat. Please pray for her. She was raped by her father as a child, been in jail, raped again and beaten so bad that she was hopislized for 4 months. She is currently homeless but seeking God in a recovery program. I will restore to her what has been stolen by the enemy! Love y’all in Christ

Well, I am new at the blogging thing!! After rereading my post I realize there is typos and bad grammar! Please pray for me. I know I am suppose to write a book . But for that to get done the Holy Spirit will have to provide the grace because this is not my natural ability. Beth, I just completed a study with Dr Caroline Leaf. She believes our brain is the gift God has given us. The brain has seven pillars, could this be what the Lord was saying in Proverbs? God really touched me during this event and the praise and worship was awesome!

It was my pleasure to attend the conference in Mobile with my 15 year old granddaughter and 24 other women from my church. I have just typed my notes to share with her as a reminder of what we learned. At the end of the conference we were told to face one another and repeat what I call “vows”, this was a beautiful and emotional time for us. I would love to include the “vows” in my notes for her. Are they published somewhere? Can I get a copy from you? Thank you for your help.

I had never attended one of your conferences & a friend that has been mentoring me invited me to attend with her. I have an abundance of confidence in most areas of my life except for the spiritual area. I’m working daily to improve this and to get where I can truly say Jesus is Lord of my life. I walked away from the conference feeling truly blessed & stirred by the message God gave you. Thank you for using the gift God gave you to share His message. I look forward to the next LPM event in my area. Beth, I pray God continues to truly bless you!

What a wonderful weekend!! I am still turning my ear for wisdom! Thank you so much for such a powerful message. I am so sorry for stopping you on your way out Friday evening. It was the only way I could think of to keep my promise to my friend to tell you hi for her. We try to attend at least 1 conference a year and we use yours and Priscilla Shirer’s bible studies for our sunday school lessons for our ladies class(the Joy Class). It takes a bit longer to complete the study but the women repond so well to haveing the videos to go along with the lesson. We hosted the simulcast at our church(First Baptist of Newellton) and will be doing so again next month. We had such a great response last year(many more than we expected). Thank you for allowing us to share in your journey!

I have been a student of Beth’s for many years through bible studies, books and LPL events and they are always so wonderful. This weekend I traveled with 10 other women, some are veterans to LPL but I had 5 that were first timers, this weekend was heart and soul shaking in the message that was shared. From the music to the words spoken. From a Women’s Sunday School teacher, and a bible study leader for 6 years I felt the love and prayers this weekend for our direction in our calling. My church Madden Baptist Church, Madden, MS will be hosting the simulcast on September 17 and can not wait to experience more time in The Word that day. Please be in prayer for our church and myself as I organize this event. We have opened it up to anyone in our county and surrounding areas, so I pray for those who need to hear about the love and power of Jesus will come. Thank you again for the wonderful work you all at LP do in being a light in the darkness. In Christ Love your Sister in Christ!

I traveled to Mobile by myself and while I wish I had girlfriends that relate in my faith, I have been on my own for about 4 years.
I secretly think I was the kid that Beth’s parents didn’t keep haha! Seriously, we have so much parallel in our lives (situations, health, marriage, the love of laughter 🙂 ). Her sharing personal aspects of her life has allowed me to release expectations and restrictions on my life that I thought I needed to be ‘useful’ to God. I relate to her as the mentor that I have not had before and so very thankful she has taken her call seriously and humbly. Thank you Beth! I am one of the future writers you prayed over.
