You Asked For It, You Got It! SSMT App Launch (optional)

If you are one of the Siestas who asked for an SSMT app, we are so happy to announce it is launching today! Yay!   Although it has broader features that connect to the LPM website, today we will focus on the SSMT features of this app.   It is completely optional, but here’s how to get it, and what it does:

1.  DOWNLOAD THE APP: Whether you are on an Apple, Android, or Windows device, go to where you download apps and search for “SSMT 2015”, developed by Subsplash.  Once downloaded, this is the home screen you will see:

Notice the bottom icon tray that we are on the “SSMT 2015” portion, and the top 2 related tabs are: SSMT Post & SSMT Event.  SSMT Event is information about our Celebration on 1/16/16. (More details to come.)

2.  OPTIONAL:
* Bible Gateway.com – optional resource for searching scripture in many different translations.
* Save verses to the Notes section on Bible Gateway. [Many of your devices have a “Notes” app to which you also can save your verses.]

I downloaded the SSMT App. However, I can not type my scripture memory in my app. I do not post my memory versus online. I do use the app to memorize scripture because it is on my phone and I liked how the app keeps all my memory verses in one spot.

I am not one of the ones that asked for it, but I HAVE been saving my verses from a Bible app to “notes” on my iPhone, because it goes everywhere with me, especially on long walks, which is when I like to practice my verses, and I didn’t want to have to carry both my spiral and phone (also using phone for the “map my walk” app 🙂 ).

I downloaded the app. Are we supposed to be able to access the Bible Gateway app through the SSMT app?
Love the audio bible option. Love the access to Beths radio teachings. Looking forward to listening to those.
Wishing there was a place to type/keep my verses within the app.
Is this app going to stay available even after SSMT 2015 over?
Thanks for all the hard work!!
    Blessings,

      LPM-KMac says:

      Hi Karla,
Yes & yes! You should be able to access BibleGateway.com from right there in the app. And, yes, since the app offers broader features to include the LPM website, the app will be available from now on!

      • Karla Hutchinson says:

OK, now I see how the bible app part works. It was asking me to download the app, so I did, but that wasn’t really necessary since within the LPM app it links you to their website.
I have been using the She Reads Truth app and the bible part works a little differently so I was having a brain cramp. 🙂 Technology overload!!
How blessed we are to have so much available to us!! We have no excuse to not be in the Word everyday. You all make it so accessible!!!
        Thank you!!!

    Christine says:

I don’t know where to put this information because there is not a “contact us” form that I can see on the site. Anyway I read about a big Bible Museum going up in Washington D.C. and thought you would like to know about it. It is due to be built in 2017. 430,000 square feet! So exciting!!
