Beth, you are such a blessing to so many women…and to me! My women’s bible study group just finished The Patriarchs on Friday. For some of us it was the first time for others the second, but we were equally blessed and drawn closer to our Heavenly Father. I have to admit that I was a little sad cause I’m gonna miss “my Beth”. So happy that I found the link to sign up for your feed by email ;D!! Thank you for your dedication and obvious love for our Lord and your love for your sisters. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Thank you for the reminder that meditating on scripture is good for us. I have found that when my mind is focused on a particular verse or passage, I tend to filter my day through what I have been meditating on. Excellent Reminder!!

LOVE that! “Not as a rule but as a right….I don’t have to I GET to” Thank you Beth! I lift you up in prayer any time God brings you to mind, I have learned so much through your teaching and appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. My biggest take away to date from your studies has been “….then God” from your story in the Esther study. Unfortunately I was faced with one of my biggest fears last year when I lost my 18 year old son in an accident, but I truly can say from experience…..then God, He has sustained me, comforted me, held me while I cried and so much more. He is faithful, and He is good…..thank you for helping me to learn that as I have studied His word through your studies.

    Beth,
Thank you so much for sharing what God is speaking to you. After watching your adorable chat with Priscilla you have been on my mind. There is a Steven Furtick sermon I was listening to Friday night called Its not a competion its a calling. I didnt want to share it really cause I think you just know so much and the Lord so well, but just in case it was God, there you go:) I also prayed for you this morning before I watched this video which Ive never done before but asked the Lord would continue to speak mightily. and clearly to and through you, for you to be encouraged, for the Enemy not to be allowed to distract you by the disapproval of man but you would only want to please and obey Him.
Im also 3rd day into Children of the Day, powerful already. I so want more of the Lord revealing Himself to me, making me aware when He is etc. The thing that stayed with me from your chat with Priscilla is how you say good morning to the Lord, how you come to Him on your knees or on your face and then I watched the story of Daniel on Netflix last night and the way God was showing Himself to me through it,like dont forget my place. And yes, that is what I want, to reverance Him more. Sorry for writing all this, just on my mind. Be encouraged, God is working even in a random girl in Denver. He will fight for you. If God is for you, who can be against you.

    Betty M says:

Oh! Beth! It was just so great to see your fresh Spirit glowy faith filled face! I just wish I had seen this first thing this AM!
Pain has a way of taking the glow outta my devotional life. Mine right now is a physical pain. I have a ripped to shreds rotator cuff injury in my shoulder that just resurfaced this past week and it has driven me to tears on many days.
Here’s the thing! I want to be writing more devotions etc but my life is crazy right now! I do not find time in my crazy day’s activities.
Not long ago I prayed that if God really wanted me to do more writing on what ever scale He has in mind for me if He would direct me. Guess what? The pain is back and I need to take it easy with physical activity. Could this be??? I even got a reaffirmation of this thought from a friend who voiced this very thing just two days ago!! So, right now I am praising Him for this pain. Got a steroid shot this AM and vowed to take it easy until after surgery which will be sometime next fall goodness knows I do not have time for surgery now with so much going on in my life!
I usually underline in my Bible and date verses that really stand out to me BUT I am going to get more sticky notes and start sticking these notes by my computer where I spend so much time so they are right there for me all day long! Am reading Paul’s letters right now and the minor prophets.
Loved hearing from you and am gona play this again tomorrow AM so I get a fresh AM perspective look !!
Wish I were in Eden Prairie this coming weekend but won’t be, will be in prayer!
Love ya to the moon and back Beth!

    mama beth~

I loved this post on so many levels, because
it is something major I have been healed and restored
    from!
We forgot that there are three voices that speak into our
lives, we have the voice of the spirit, the voice of the enemy but also
the flesh and the profound truth for me in all of it was realizing that the flesh had a voice too!

When we meditate on God`s word not only do we cast these
thoughts down but we are left room for the real revelations
that God wants to share with us to transform our lives
as well as those around us— it’s transformed mine!

I love that you are someone that speaks into my life too and
I rarely realize that you aren’t in my everyday life,
Only God could do that. So grateful for those in my
life everyday who speak into it and remind me of His promises
    and truth ๐Ÿ™‚

Love to all my favorites there ๐Ÿ™‚

Beth…most needed reminder for me today. Going through so much right now and having plenty of those toxic thoughts and my heart is feeling the strain of it all. So thank you sharing this. No details needed but many prayers to get us through to the other side of it all.

    Deborah Mott says:

Thank you very much Beth. This came on a day I studied renewing the mind in Ephesians 4 and seems to be on target with what the LORD is teaching me so I can truly live in more consistent victory despite circumstances and people. I need this so! Thank you very much! Our worship, really a focus of our minds and lives on TRUTH/JESUS, is so KEY to victorious living! I like your quote about meditation of WORD being our medication! Reminds me of a time I was so depressed I was barely hanging onto life. I was assigned by a doctor to get in front of a mirror three times a day and speak out loud the positive truths I believe about myself. I was told this is your Prescription, your medication and you are to do this faithfully! I chose “MY IDENTITY IN CHRIST” and read the list three times a day in front of that mirror. It did not feel true but it was true and by faith I embraced it the best I could and it did not change my circumstances but it changed my thinking and today it feels more true than ever and my circumstances are so much better. I am not depressed. (Dr discovered my B12 was extremely low and put me on B 12 shots daily…. Physical and spiritual RX’s helped me recover!) {what we put into our mouth is important for energy and health…and what we put into our minds is likewise so very life or death giving!} Saying the TRUTH was a first step and by faith I embraced the Truths. Thinking of the verse as a man thinks so he is. Saw marque today that said something to effect “as you think so you will be”. So this message has been repetitive today and of obvious ongoing importance so necessary to me…I ttend to default to critical, self beating and self loathing type thinking if I don’t purpose to think GOD’s THOUGHTS from His Word. His TRUTH does free us! I have to take off the old and put on the NEW! Thank you for the reminder and exhortation/ teaching. I really need and appreciate these truths. So important to be intentional about what we think about. So often can think something that is really a lie and it feels true. Warning to not go by feelings but BY GOD’s WORD/TRUTH! Reminded this morning in Bible time to pray for discernment…

Phil 1:9-11: 9 And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10 so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Thanks again. IN CHRIST BY GRACE, Deb

Beth, this is so appropriate for me right now, you do not even know how much the Lord has been impressing on me the importance of staying in His Word, and making time for it right now, while my children are little…and being obedient to His Word. What you said about seeing an old matter in a different way is so pertinent to me right now. Love is what I know I should show in my situation, no matter if it is reciprocated or not. That’s Christ’s love…I know, know, know that His Word is life to me, and the preservation of my mind and my witness. My very sanity to be exact. I am so glad that the Lord prompted you to post this video today. It is a welcome encouragement to me, very welcome. I will pray for you. Please pray for me too. I love you too, Beth, always will, Sister. ((HUGS)) to you tonight Siesta Mama Beth.
