Happy Wednesday, fine ladies!
Here at LPM we celebrate Christmas enthusiastically. That means that right before we head out for the Thanksgiving holidays, we dedicate one afternoon to decorating our office for Christmas. When you put ten or so hands to work, things go pretty quickly. This old house-turned-office is magical this time of year, so we thought it would be fun to give you a little tour.
Welcome to Living Proof Ministries, we’re so happy to show you around.
Our office is pretty no matter what time of day…
But at night it glows.
Come inside…
Our entryway. I personally don’t think this picture does it justice. It’s too pretty to capture. (The first floor is where all things resources take place. If you glance back in that hallway through those doors, that’s where everything is wrapped, packaged and shipped out.)
This table usually sits where our Christmas tree goes.
The Boardroom
And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care. (By the way, mantels are my most favorite thing to at Christmas. They’re magical.)
O Holy Night (courtesy of Lindsay Letters)
A Nativity Set in the entryway.
Welcome to the second floor, where everything admin happens. Do you like the way we swagged Kimberly’s desk? Also, if you’ll enlarge this picture, you can see our other Kimberly (whom we refer to as KMac) waiving at you guys. My coworkers really didn’t want to be in any of the pictures. I tried my hardest!
This is where we hang all of our Christmas cards. It’s still pretty early, but soon this will be full of many smiling faces!
A wreath on the door to a room we call the “Red Room”. You’ll notice on all of our wreaths the word Joy! This is appropriate since that is our word of the month and theme for December. But no, it was not planned, just something that stuck out to me as I was taking pictures.
We use this table to break at and enjoy lunch every now and then.
A jingle bell Christmas tree.
A Willow Tree Nativity Set
This is the mantel and fire place in our director, Sabrina’s, office. You can’t see them very well but she has twinkle lights on it!
Another wreath. Another joy.
Another wreath leading into Beth’s office.
A miniature Christmas tree at her entryway.
A little sleigh with scented pinecones and a fun Christmas CD. Wink, wink.
An angel. (The first picture I took of her made her look like a ghost because the light was way too bright and washed her out. So that was cool.)
Some table decorations in a side room upstairs.
Santa? Or Saint Nicholas? Grin.
Some sparkly garland above Beth’s bookshelves.
And for good measure, one more wreath in her office with a little joy on it. Grin.
Merry Christmas pillow.
The fireplace all decorated in Beth’s office.
Merry Christmas from us to you! We hope you enjoyed the tour!
Thank you for the tour! I love it! So fun! Now we can picture where all of you lovely ladies are a little better. Merry Christmas to all 14 of you…. I counted the socks. Grin.
Thanks for the tour. It is so fun to spend part of the holidays with you. Here in Minnesota we are getting 6 inches of fresh snow.
Merry Christmas, praying the peace of God to your entire staff.
Dianne, we are supposed to get a cool front through Houston tomorrow! Praise God it will be in the 50’s because it’s currently in the 80’s. Colorado, where all of my family live, is also getting slammed with snow. Enjoy some for us. Blessings!
It is 80 in Florida, too. We need another cool front. I don’t like wearing shorts in winter.
I loved, loved, loved the pictures. Thank you so much Lindsay! Merry Christmas!
It’s pretty cold today in so. California. Had to wear a sweatshirt to bible study today. (We’re doing Esther, 6th week- my favorite week since this is my 2nd time with Esther)
Y’all really do go all out! It’s beautiful and also helps me visualize where the action happens. Grin. We’re expecting truly wintry weather, by Texas standards, here in Dallas through the weekend. Those fireplaces may come in very handy if Houston receives the same or anything close to it. May that joy be a reality at Living Proof this month.
Merry Christmas to you too!! Everything looks so elegant! ๐ Thanks for giving us the tour!! I thourougly enjoyed it!! It filled me with “JOY”!! ๐ And I just listened to my Christmas CD of Beth and Travis today! I loved it!
L.L.,
Thanks for the tour! Today it is 25 degrees here and the fireplaces look so cozy. May you all have a blessed holiday. At our house, we are anxiously waiting for our baby to arrive sometime before Christmas.
That’s fun news, Sarah! Congratulations! May all go smoothly from here on out.
Thank you so much Lindsee. I really appreciate you. I will let you know how everything goes. We are definitely playing the waiting game right now.
How beautiful! Thank you for sharing this with us.
What a fun and beautiful tour of the LPM offices, everything looks so cheery, thanks for sharing, I think I even saw a few decorating ideas to “borrow.”
Merry Christmas!
Thank you, Lindsee! So fun and absolutely gorgeous. May joy and peace fill the days and may everyone who enters overflow with hope, believing. Fill LPM with your glory, Lord.
Thank you so much for sharing. Am a little jealous though…I’m from Calgary Alberta Canada where it is -30, and lots of snow
I could totally work in an environment like that! Love the Willow Tree nativity and the jingle bell Christmas tree! Everything is beautiful! Do you all need another employee? ๐
Love this!! I wish I could work there!! ๐
Thank you for sharing how pretty the offices are decorated. It’s beautiful!! Merry Christmas to you all!!! ๐
Thank you so much for the tour and sharing of your beautiful decorations! I’ve always tried to envision the Living Proof office setup and it is very homey, elegant and welcoming. Have a wonderful Christmas season with His blessings~ Sandy
PS Which Christmas CD is that?? I couldn’t tell from the picture.
Here’s that CD, Becky: http://www.lifeway.com/Product/celebrate-the-saviors-story-christmas-audio-cd-set-P005658205
Thanks for sharing your “JOY”. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! Thanks for all you do all year to keep our faith strong and growing!
So beautiful!
Joy has been the theme of our company for the entire year. And many of us have been through the wringer the past 12 months! Menopause, motorcycle accident, loss of pets, ministry dangers (one of our authors is a missionary in a foreign country), illness, travel woes, financial issues, wayward children, storm damage, and more. Crazy year. But we cling to James’ words and count it all joy.
Merry Christmas to all of you. Thank you for all you do. You’re such a blessing.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful spirit of Christmas! You are such sweet friends and you touch my life with so much joy. Merry Christmas to each one of you.
Prayers,
Thanks for the tour! Great decorating!!
I lov Christmas–the sights, sounds, and smells! Yesterday, 6 of us from the Beth Moore LPL Charleston Team, Aug. 2012, met for our Christmas lunch and heard Nancy Barrett, our city coordinator, give a recap of the Daytona reunion! She sounded just like Beth, telling us About THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD. She also, told us about the blessing prayers Beth gave all the coordinators. Beth anointed Nancy’s hands and forget to give her the blessing. Nancy pulled Beth back and begged for her blessing. We all thought that was special since Beth taught on Jacob, in Charleston. Merry Christmas and God’s blessings to all of you at LPL!
I love the word Joy on the wreaths! A few days ago I was thinking about some gifts to make for friends – painted letters for mantle decorations – and the word ‘joy’ came to mind. How cool is that. ๐
Beautiful!
Where can I find the CD in the picture? Can’t find it on the Living Proof website? Thanks! It looks wonderful!
Here you go, Michelle: http://www.lifeway.com/Product/celebrate-the-saviors-story-christmas-audio-cd-set-P005658205
Lindsee!
Thank you for the tour! Makes me want to hop a flight to Houston and have a cup of cocoa with everybody!
Many Christmas blessings to you all!
Love and prayers from O-Hi-O!
Thank you so much for the tour. It’s so warm & inviting. Merry Christmas to ya’ll!! ๐
Love it! That is so beautiful – what a wonderful place to go for work each day!!
BTW – what is at the front door in the closer pics?
It is all so beautiful! Thanks for the tour! I haven’t put a single decoration up at home yet. Maybe this weekend…..
Love and hugs,
Adrienne
Beautiful pictures capturing beautiful decorations. Can you come and do my house? Many blessings are wished for you from my heart to yours! Merry Christmas to you girlfriends! Thanks for all you do!
While smiling through your delightful, serene, Christ-glorifying photos my mind was reciting (one of my memory verses)…
“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” Proverbs 24:3
What a blessing for all of you to spend your waking hours serving our beautiful LORD in such a beautiful place!
JOY JOY JOY to you all this Christmas!!!
Thanks for the verse!
Thanks for the tour, Lindsee!
I want to know what’s in the plastic boxes under the Christmas tree??
Those were a few boxes for Operation Christmas Child that we got to do as a staff. So fun.
I love that you do that!!!!
Love the tour. Where did you get the stocking hangers for the mantel? They are just what I am looking for.
Elizabeth, I wish I knew but I don’t have a clue. So sorry!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Who wouldn’t want to work in this beautiful place!
Hi Lindsee!
So nice to actually see what LPM looks like…so now I will have some pictures in my mind when I pray for you dear, dear, dear ladies!!! I grew up in Houston and it was so nice to see the green grass…in December! You are right we do have snow here in Colorado…we really need the moisture. I love you ladies so…have a wonderful month of JOY celebrating our Saviors birth!!! ๐
Lindsee!! You do wonderful tours and you are a Blessing!!
Happy Christmas to you and all there at LPM; you are the best!!
Honestly, I can hardly tell you how happy this makes me. I love Christmas decorations probably way too much. So I always love seeing other people’s decorating. Full of joy and peace and love. Thanks for this, Lindsee!
Such a lovely tour!! Helps this FL girl get in the spirit as I am in shorts with a mild breeze blowing through my window as I type this! But I am not complaining- and am STILL on the mountaintop from Beth’s visit to Daytona last month! God bless & keep you all as we celebrate our dear Savior’s birth- HE IS WORTHY of all our praise!!!! ((Virtual hugs!!))
What a wonderful tour! I can not think of a better place I’d want to even volunteer to work at if I were any where near Houston. I really doubt in my life time I will see Houston but for your SSMT thing sometime you oughtta give tours of the little place it is so charming!!
I have one little comment,it would all look so much cozier if you had a foot of snow blanketing everything! As I look out my east windows this AM I see my horses all tucked into a windbreak of tall pine and spruce trees. Yes, horses do well in those conditions because they are acclimated for it! Everything has a fresh blanket of about 6 inches of snow and it is bonechilling and I do mean bone chilling cold out there! I am sipping my coffee in 72 degree comfort but just inches beyond my window it is a serious -30 degrees windchill reading and about -2 degrees air temp!!! That is right ladies!! I SAID MINUS!!!!! My hubby brought in a half frozen big angora cat who was really cold last eve so I warmed him up with warm milk and bread so we have a new resident in our basement. He is so thin and would never make it in these conditions. Very tame so is obviously someone’s cat guess he belongs to us for now!!
Have a most blessed holiday season and if I get busy I may just get a card off to you all!
Love from the Dakota plains!!
Betty M
Oh Betty! I don’t wish any of my northern sisters bad weather, but I am so grateful the temp has dropped to 46 here in Houston . ๐
Yesterday’s, 80 was miserable.
Sounds crazy cold! But just one more excuse to snuggle next to the fire and read a good book right? ๐ By the way, you are an awesome writer! I could totally picture your horses all huddled together ๐ Blessings!
What a special treat to tour your lovely office. Now I can picture where you when I am praying for you all. Lindsee thank you for this tour. I am in Colorado and it was -10 this morning. I am doing my decorating today and what fun it is! Thank you again.
i was hoping someone would ask… but since i haven’t seen it… the first picture of the nativity (not the Willow Tree)… do you know where that’s from? i am the decorating committee for my church and was looking for a fairly large nativity. that one seems perfect.
thanks for the tour!
Jackie, besides our Willow Tree nativity set, I’m not sure where we got any of them from. But if I found out I will surely let you know!
Thanks for sharing with usโฆ..everything is so beautiful and welcoming. To all of you at LPM, have a very blessed Christmas!
Blessings,
Ginger
Lindsee, I love that you took the time to share this glorious scenery with all of us! I especially liked the jingle bell Christmas tree and I’m trying to find it online! It makes me want to go home and finish decorating…thanks so much!

Merry, merry, all ~
A GORGEOUS tour. You look like you guys have such fun there. This blessed me at 2:50 am…
