2013 Siesta Scripture Memory Team: Verse 18!

If you happened to join us for the simulcast Saturday (we enjoyed worshiping and studying Scripture with you so much!), I bet you could guess my verse without ever seeing it. Here goes!

Beth, Houston TX. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. Romans6:14

AMEN TO THAT.

It’s 11:15PM Saturday night and my eyes and fingers are so tired, I can hardly type. With your gracious permission, I’ll make this one short and sweet this time. I do so dearly love you. I’ll need a little grace on Sunday for moderation. I truly have to get some rest or I’ll never make it the rest of the week. Go ahead and leave your verses but keep in mind that they might not get moderated and posted till Monday after Living Proof opens.

I love you guys! Hold fast to Jesus!

    Patricia O'connor says:

Hello to who reads this. It was an awesome time learning about Grace and Law. The learning of God and the Jesus! I got saved yesterday (9/14/2013) and I still need to learn about this Jesus that sounds so powerful. I’ve been to many things but seeing Miss Beth Moore up stage speaking about the bible. It was like an unreal dream. I felt like Beth spoke of a subject that touched upon a one of my situations.

    Favorite verse:
    Romans 6:15
    New International Version (NIV)
6:15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means!

Breaking free of the addictions… I have one addiction. I’m an Otaku. I’m literally addicted to anime, manga, and all such things. Being an Otaku is what made me move out of my moms house. It keeps destroying my relationships with her and my other family and friends. I listen to two genres of music. Japanese. Christian. No one ever thinks t mention Otaku as they list addictions.

One thing I don’t understand is “The Blood Of Jesus” (mentioned in the songs) It sounds pretty horrific. Especially compared to the way Beth spoke about a corpse smelling. Blood smells terrible too. I have seen far too much blood in my lifetime. I didn’t want to think of it anymore while praising so I’m going to be honest. I powered on my dslite game and I put my ear buds in one ear and praised to the music with out the word “blood” and then jammed out to the snes (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) Donkey Kong songs. Blood is scary when you see it all over the floor flooding out of someone. Someone you know.

It was fun yesterday. (9/14/2013) I have so many questions that need answered. I’ll see what a church says.
