Wanna Get Together Wednesday? Let’s Meet Up For Lunch and Livestream!

I MISS YOU GUYS!!!! Much to catch up on! You guys want to get together for 30 minutes and livestream? And how would it be to actually know a day in advance this time?? SO, if you’re available, mark it down somewhere, jot it on a post-note or tell Siri on your iPhone to remind you to meet up…

Wednesday January 9th (tomorrow) at straight up 12:00 noon Central Standard Time. We’ll say hello, catch up a bit, grab hold of a Scripture, pray together and get you right back to your day in a flash.

To join in with us tomorrow, simply click on this link a minute or two before we air and you’ll be good to go. For you early birds, if you arrive too early, you’ll see that it is password protected. This is so that we can get it set up and ready to go without an audience. Grin. If you’ll be patient with us, we will remove the password about ten minutes prior to going live. So don’t let the password mess with you! It will come down right on time.

If you’ve having a problem accessing the livestream channel through the link provided, you can also find us by simply typing “Living Proof Ministries Livestream” into Google.

I love you guys! See you tomorrow? And pray for me to be able to serve you diligently and filled with the Holy Spirit. God can do a lot in half an hour. I do want to have fun but I don’t want to take it lightly.

Just what I was looking for. Our pastor was sharing with us that the reason we are not experiencing a God daily is that we are not taking the time to “experience” God daily as individuals. I have gone through many Bible studies at church and have felt close to God and heard His voice clearly. But when I am not in His Word daily, it fades. I CAN use 30 minutes a day on Wednesdays to draw closer to God. Thank you!

      Joyce,

I’m a substitute teacher and have found the “recorded” one that you can watch after is very good. It might help you participate but not break your family rule of “No Web Wednesday”.

        Steph,
I am in high school so I can’t be a part of it tomorrow. Where do you find “the recorded one”?

can’t wait to hear from you, beth – always a pleasure and delight, and to have a day’s notice is wonderful, too. i was wondering if you were going to have an app this year for our scripture memory like you did last time – so we could follow along on our iphones? that made it really handy when i was out and about – in addition to the nifty spirals, of course. just a thought… praying over you for the word tomorrow!

      Natalie says:

Hi Linda,, I just use the Notes app on my iPhone to keep a list of all my scriptures. It’s easy to grab my phone at anytime and have them available to study! I also but the current scripture in a calendar event that pops up on my screen every day at a certain time as a visual reminder!

I so love our bits of time together, although for me it’s usually an “after the fact” stream. πŸ™‚ There is nothing bad about that, though. Maybe one of these times I’ll catch one “live”. I will look forward to watching it when I’m home from my appointment and the kids are napping. Thanks Beth, Lindsee, and the whole LPM team. You are such a sweet blessing!

Yes! Looking forward to it πŸ™‚

Because we can’t add to our posts with our Memory Scripture, I just HAVE to share that God has already used my first memory verse in such a huge way within my marriage. God woke me up all night Sunday night. Normally I would have read a book or watched tv but I knew I was suppose to work on the verse even though I didn’t know why it was so pressing. The next morning I learned why it was so pressing. When on any other day I would have fallen apart had these events occured; I didn’t. I knew it was not my battle, that I was to position myself (in this case reaching out to prayer warriors in my life), then be still and see the salvation of the Lord. LITERALLY 24 hours later I am seeing that salvation working and moving in the other person. My verse came from the verses Beth gave us after the Simulcast.

Also, I reached out to a friend about doing it with me so I had a person here to be accountable to. Not only is she doing it with me so we can hold one another accountable, many of the ladies in our church is now paired up to memorize scripture.

    Oh! Beth!
Can you believe it!!! Over 10,000 verses and committed poeple to memorizing scripture! Must be giving Satan a migraine!
I will never forget last year in Jan when you live streamed and I watched! I kneeled with you in prayer and then went for a Drs apt with my unchristian psychiatrist. He asked how and why the change in me I am now totally free of bad mood swings and depression. I spoke with boldness I never knew I had! Thanks to Jesus! I said it was through Jesus Christ and Him alone I give the honor and glory to. The Dr just listened and said he had never seen this in his practice before! I just felt chills going up and down my spine!!! WOW! The power of prayer and our God!!!!
Looking forward to tomorrow Lord willing!

    Ellen K. says:

Cara K, so glad you shared how God is using His Word to see you through. I wonder if, like me when God has had me up through the night, you still felt rested the next day? He is so gracious. Am encouraged to share why I chose Habakkuk 3:19 as the first verse for this year. It says, “God, The Lord, is my strength. He makes my feet like the deer’s. He makes me to tread on my high places (that is places of difficulty, struggle). Having retired two years ago with a vision/dream of how my life would be, especially re ministry opportunity, and having it be completely different with several closed doors as well as unexpected challenges in our family, I became discouraged & disheartened. As the new year approached and I applied to my life, by God’s grace and the power of His Spirit, the Word and words from the devotional i have been using, He revived me and I am striving every day to tread on the high places & am having more victory over the sins that so easily entangle me than I have had Ina long time. Praise our gracious Lord for His faithfulness and the awesome power of His living and active Word. Enough! Thank you for the opportunity & privilege to share His work in me. May He receive all the glory!

      Cara K says:

Ellen – Thank you for also sharing. The memorization is hard (especially a few months from now) BUT to hear how it is changing our lives and the lives of those around us, keeps me encouraged and pushing through.

    Marie says:

I’ll be at work tomorrow, but I hope I can tune in!

By the way, THANK YOU siestas for praying for Isla, my friend’s daughter. She is two weeks old today, off all but one of the machines and got to wear footie pajamas for the first time! (Along with a pretty headband, of course). Momma and Daddy have used this time in an amazing way: They felt God tug on their hearts to reach out to the other parents in the NICU, which has led to a burgeoning care package ministry for parents and kids having to spend time at the hospital being set up at my church, which has led to Daddy doing an interview on the radio tomorrow, which has led to their baby’s Orthodox Jewish doctor asking all sorts of questions about their church and why people are willing to give to those they don’t even know.

I can’t even get over it. Seriously! God is just so stinkin’ cool!
